Abstract

This study aims to identify and to analyze the influence of achievement and action competency, helping and human services competency, impact and influence competency, managerial competency, cognitive competency, and personal effectiveness competency on job performance of the employees in Sari Mulia Hospital Banjarmasin. There were 310 employees in Sari Mulia Hospital Banjarmasin as the population of the study. Probability sampling with proportional sampling technique was employed as the sampling technique. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to the samples of 173 employees in Sari Mulia Hospital Banjarmasin. The collected data were analyzed using multiple regressions. Based on the findings of the research, it was found that each variable of competencies, such as achievement and action competency, helping and human services competency, impact and influence competency, cognitive competency, and personal effectiveness competency influence employees’ job performance in Sari Mulia Hospital Banjarmasin

Abstract

This longitudinal study investigated the effect of age, sex, nursing care characteristics, and social support on successful aging outcomes among elderly adults in KotaSukabumi, Indonesia. 260 participants completed baseline assessments and a 12-month follow-up on physical health, psychological well-being, and social engagement. Results showed that social support was positively associated with all three successful aging outcomes at follow-up, while nursing care characteristics were positively related to social engagement at follow-up. Age was negatively associated with physical health and social engagement at follow-up, and gender was not significantly related to successful aging outcomes. These findings emphasize the importance of social support and nursing care in promoting successful aging and suggest that interventions to improve these factors could effectively improve the health and well-being of elderly adults.

Abstract

Human resources (HR) are crucial in all facets of life. Institutional responsibilities are part of the effort required to provide public services. This study aimed to assess the public services provided by all local government working units (SKPD), technical implementing units (UPT), and local companies (Perusda) in Banjarmasin. Measuring public services helps determine the public's concern and allows the community to participate in how well human resources of government apparatus do their jobs and responsibilities for all citizens. The study method was a survey of 700 people in the community who have used public services in different categories and fields in 2021. This study showed that the quality and quantity of public services the Banjarmasin municipal government offers have improved. It also showed that public service personnel's (human resources of government apparatus) professionalism has improved and that those served care about the facilities required for public administration to function. This implied how the Banjarmasin municipal government managed public services through the human resources or government apparatus on each SKPD/UPT/Perusda positively impacted the society receiving the service.

Abstract

The Provincial Legislative Council in Banjarmasin is constantly considering methods to enhance the public sector. High job performance from members of the Provincial Legislative Council in Banjarmasin is required for improvement. Training, compensation, and work motivation all impact job performance. The study examined how training, compensation, and work motivation affect job performance. This study employed a quantitative approach. For this study, 45 members of the Provincial Legislative Council in Banjarmasin were sampled. The method for collecting data used was a questionnaire. The data was analyzed by Multiple Linier Regression (MLR) analysis. The findings of this study indicated that job performance, compensation, work motivation, and training all achieved satisfactory levels. The effects of training, compensation, and work motivation on job performance were all significant. The training variable substantially influenced job performance more than the other variables. Nevertheless, those factors affected the results. Because these factors had a significant influence on performance, training, compensation, and work motivation all needed to get improved.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas pelayanan internal dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT NS Tractors, baik. Variabel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel bebas berupa kualitas pelayanan internal dan motivasi kerja. Sedangkan variabel terikat berupa kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif kausal, dengan populasi karyawan PT NS Tractors sebanyak 40 orang. Adapun teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah total sampling, dimana jumlah sampel sama dengan populasi. Analisis data menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda dengan software IBM SPSS Statictic. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan kualitas pelayanan internal terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT NS Tractors dan juga terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT NS Tractors

Abstract

Pasar tradisional di Indonesia menghadapi tekanan signifikan akibat perubahan perilaku konsumen dan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital, termasuk meningkatnya preferensi masyarakat terhadap platform belanja daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keberlanjutan usaha pedagang di Pasar Grosir Sudimampir, Kota Banjarmasin, dalam konteks transformasi digital. Fokus kajian mencakup tingkat adopsi teknologi, hambatan utama yang dihadapi, dampak digitalisasi terhadap kelangsungan usaha, serta strategi peningkatan daya saing. Pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi realitas sosial para pedagang melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan studi dokumentasi, yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dengan teknik analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun sebagian pedagang telah mulai memanfaatkan teknologi digital, seperti media sosial untuk promosi, transformasi digital secara menyeluruh belum tercapai. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan infrastruktur, rendahnya literasi digital, tingginya biaya, dan minimnya dukungan eksternal. Meskipun demikian, adopsi digital terbukti berdampak positif terhadap perluasan pasar dan efisiensi operasional usaha. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori adopsi teknologi dan kerangka TOE dalam konteks UMKM sektor informal, serta menghasilkan rekomendasi strategis bagi pemangku kepentingan dalam mendorong digitalisasi pasar tradisional secara berkelanjutan. Artikel ini juga menekankan pentingnya kebijakan yang kontekstual dan berbasis kebutuhan lokal untuk mendukung transformasi digital yang inklusif dan adaptif di kalangan pedagang pasar.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of leverage on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable during the COVID-19 pandemic, focusing on transportation sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The research adopts an associative quantitative approach using Smartpls software for path analysis. Leverage is measured by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), firm value by Price to Book Value (PBV), and profitability by Return on Equity (ROE). A total of 10 transportation companies were selected through purposive sampling, covering the period from 2019 to 2023. The results reveal that leverage has a positive and significant effect on both firm value and profitability. However, profitability does not significantly affect firm value and fails to mediate the relationship between leverage and firm value. These findings suggest that during crisis periods, particularly under government-imposed social restrictions (PSBB), investors prioritize financial structure over short-term earnings. This implies a strategic shift in managerial and investor focus from profitability to capital resilience. The study recommends that transportation firms adopt adaptive leverage strategies, and that policymakers provide fiscal support—such as credit relaxation and tax incentives—to help the sector manage financial risks and sustain firm value in times of economic uncertainty.
