Abstract

Anxiety is signal that disenchant themselves to take action overcome the threats. The action sectio caesarean with various complication evoked anxiety. Excessive anxiety can result inhibition seem that the process of  labor operating. Availability hospital services that profesional and qualified important to ensure process labor operating rnning smoothly so as to reduce  feelings anxiety. Purpose research is  find out the different levels  anxiety mother pre sectio caesarean in RSIA Kasih Ibu dan RSUP. Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. The research usin the analytic method apply plan crossectional. Sampling using consecutive sampling. Taking data done on 12 October-12 December 2012. Instrument used is HARS to measure level anxiety the mothers pre sectio caesarean and questionnare of service quality to service quality in each hospital. The result showed that there are difference mothers pre section caesarean in both hospitals. Based on the results the study suggested that the public better understand the emotional state the mother who will face action caesarean Caesarea, and to provide emotional support to the mother's contribution. Abstract

Background: The rapid development of technology in the current era of modern digitalization has a huge impact on human life. One of them is the internet which makes it easier to find information and communicate. Despite its benefits, the internet can cause addiction which has negative impacts such as depression, anxiety, dysfunctional cognitive control and other health problems. Internet Addiction is a dependence on the Internet characterized by increased activity and duration of use. FoMO is characterized by feelings of fear of missing out on valuable time with other people. Several studies have stated that there is a link between internet addiction and FoMO. This research aims to determine the relationship between internet addiction and FoMO in Faculty of Medicine UNSRAT Class of 2021 students.Method: The research carried out was a quantitative study with a cross sectional research design and used the Spearman rank correlation test on 275 students of Faculty of Medicine UNSRAT Class of 2021.Results: In the Spearman Rank correlation test, the results obtained were that there was a relationship between internet addiction and FoMO with a value of p=0.000 (p<0.05) and a correlation coefficient of 0.255. The level of internet addiction among students is mostly at a medium level, namely at a percentage of 65.1%. The student's FoMO level is also at a medium level, namely 76.7%.Conclusion: There is a correlation between internet addiction and Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) in Faculty of medicine UNSRAT class of 2021 students with a weak correlation level.Keywords: Internet addiction, fear of missing out (FoMO), medical students

Abstract

Background: Every medical student has a different level of intelligence quotient (IQ), where IQ they have will help in solving problems, especially in learning. Problem based learning (PBL), expert lectures, and skills lab are some of the things that a medical student will do when studying at the faculty of medicine. This can be a stressor for a medical student who is living his life within the scope of the faculty of medicine. This is supported by data that proves that medical students have high levels of stress, where the average stress level is in the moderate stress category. Aim: To determine the relationship between IQ and perceived stress (PS) in medical faculty students at University of X. Methods: This research is a quantitative study with a cross sectional design involving 162 respondents. Results:  This research shows that there are 57.4% of students who have an average IQ level and a PS level in the moderate PS category of 70.4%. Where the two variables have a very weak correlation when tested with the Spearman rank test with a correlation coefficient value of 0.184. Conclusion: Students at the Faculty of Medicine at X University has an average IQ level and moderate PS level with a very weak correlation between the two variables. Abstract

Background: The occurrence of loneliness is very prominent for adolescents as their desire to feel socially accepted and belonged is very strong during the process of growth and development. Loneliness itself is a prominent aspect of the life course principle of interconnectedness. This relates to how adolescents perceive the quality of their relationships, i.e. how their lives are connected to others and how this affects mental and physical well-being. Research results on mood elevation claim that people with negative emotional states tend to seek solace online through social media. Over a span of 6 years, the number of teens with smartphone use grew from 4 in 10 teens to 9 in 10 teens.  In the same time span, the percentage of teens using social media doubled from 34% to 70%. Methods: This study is an observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach, applying the total sampling method. The sample was drawn through the distribution of questionnaires using Google form links during September-October 2023. Analysis of the correlation used the Spearman Rank test. Results: This study involved 276 student participations. There is a correlation between loneliness and the duration of social media use among 2021 students of the Faculty of Medicine, Sam Ratulangi University. The results show that the relationship between the two variables has a sufficient level of strength, a coefficient value of 0.354 and a positive correlation direction (p <0.001). Conclusion: The level of loneliness has a positive relationship with the duration of social media use in students of the Faculty of Medicine Sam Ratulangi University, class of 2021.
