Abstract

The writing of this article is done to reveal the tradition of ngayah as a communication forum for Hindu society in the perspective of religious humanist education. The results of this study reveal that the ngayah tradition that is usually carried out by the Hindu community in Bali is governed by customary law, customary law in Bali is a rule that regulates the habits of the Hindu community in Bali. The rules contained in Balinese customary law are based on Hindu religious teachings. The Ngayah tradition is the local wisdom of the Balinese people in which local cultural communication occurs. The community in carrying out this tradition obeys customary laws starting from the discipline of the kulkul voice as a sign of the time to start ngayah to making upakara facilities in accordance with local customs and sincere to follow and undergo any series of ceremonies in the ngayah tradition. Not only obeying customary law but also in the tradition of ngayah as a means of communication for the community to be able to build good communication, get to know each other, build intimacy, learn to socialize, have ethics, be polite in speaking and get to know the character of the community in the neighborhood. The ngayah tradition is an implementation of religious humanist education, in this case humanist education which emphasizes the aspect of individual independence is integrated with religious education in order to build an individual-social life that has independence, but without leaving religious values.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Development of Interactive Learning Media Using Lectora Inspire in the Hindu Religious Education Study Program; determine the feasibility of this learning media based on the assessment of material experts, media experts and learning practitioners; knowing the student's assessment of this learning media. This type of research and development uses the ADDIE development model. At the Development stage, the learning media using Lectora Inspire which was assessed for feasibility by 1 material expert, 1 media expert and 1 learning practitioner, all of them from STAHN MPU Kuturan lecturers. The implementation phase includes two stages, namely small group trials and field trials. The results showed that the Learning Media Using Lectora Inspire was developed through five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation; The feasibility level of this learning media based on the assessment of material experts obtained an average of 4.53 which was included in the very feasible category, media experts obtained an average of 4.48 which was included in the very feasible category, and learning practitioners obtained an average of 4.60 which included in the very decent category; Student assessment, obtained an average overall score of 4.24 which is included in the very decent category. Based on the results of the study, the developed learning media is very suitable to be used as a learning medium in the Hindu religious education study program.

Abstract

The writing of this article was composed to reveal the use of whatsapp groups as a medium of communication in the traditional mapengarah based teachings of Tri Hita Karana in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0. The results of this study reveal that the traditional mapengarah tradition is usually carried out to convey information from one house to another to channel important information relating to joint activities both religious activities and local traditional activities that are important to be known and carried out by the community, all of these activities based on the teachings of Tri Hita Karana and focuses on the younger generation or generation Y. Tri Hita Karana which in Hinduism teachings, it is a cause of happiness in the world, happiness starts from the existence of good and directed communication. In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the young generation or generation Y has been able to answer the challenges of the times by using whatsapp groups as a medium of communication in the tradition of direction, because whatsapp groups are in great demand today and how to use them easily, quickly in receiving information without having to waste a lot of time. Besides that the information accessed is right on target, in the sense that it is directly directed at the person who will be given the information.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap transformasi pendidikan di Era Normal Baru dalam perspektif pendidikan agama Hindu ditinjau dari sosio-etika di Sekolah Tinggi Agama Hindu Negeri Mpu Kuturan Singaraja. Berdasarkan analisis, Era New Normal merupakan suatu kondisi dimana masyarakat saat ini harus bisa hidup berdampingan dengan Covid-19 namun tetap berpegang pada protokol kesehatan yang diberikan oleh pemerintah. Perkembangan pendidikan dilihat dari 3 unsur penting yaitu unsur ontologis, epistemologis, dan aksiologis. Dari segi ontologis terlihat bahwa dosen dan mahasiswa mampu membangkitkan kesadaran untuk dapat melaksanakan pembelajaran secara online dan harus terbiasa menggunakan IT. Dari segi epistemologi, dosen menyiapkan bahan ajar / bahan ajar yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran online seperti materi berupa powerpoint, teks dan video pembelajaran. Dari sisi aksiologis, dosen dan mahasiswa senantiasa berupaya untuk menjalankan etika yang baik pada saat terjadi pandemi dengan mematuhi aturan protokol kesehatan pencegahan COVID-19. Dalam proses pembelajaran online mahasiswa tidak bertatap muka langsung dengan dosen, penilaian yang dilakukan dosen adalah penilaian terhadap sosio-etik atau etika sosial, bagaimana etika mengkomunikasikan mahasiswa dalam lingkungan sosial, dalam hal ini etika dalam media sosial. . Rata-rata mahasiswa telah mampu menunjukkan cara dan etika berkomunikasi dengan dosen maupun dengan rekan kerja melalui media sosial baik di google class maupun whatsapp.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the development of 4-D pictorial riddle-based poster media as teaching materials for religious education courses in the Hindu Religious Education Study Program; find out whether poster media is feasible or not to be used based on the assessment of material experts, learning practitioners and media experts; knowing the interest in learning and student learning outcomes after using poster media. This type of research and development refers to the 4D model of the development process. At the development stage (Develop) learning tools, all the instruments used and the poster media developed were validated by learning experts and practitioners. Expert validators and practitioners are Lecturers of STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja. The develop stage consists of a limited field test and an extensive test. The results showed that Pictorial Riddle-Based Poster Media was developed in four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate; Pictorial Riddle-based poster media is said to be feasible in terms of SBI, PA (Percentage of Agreement) scores, and based on the results of student response questionnaires. The poster media has an SBI score of 3.92 in the good category, the PA score is 92.2%, and the result of the student response questionnaire is 3.86 in the good category and is included in the appropriate category for use. Based on the normalized gain value, the increase in student interest in the second semester of the Hindu Religious Education Study Program after applying the poster media is 0.13 with a low significant level. Based on the normalized gain value, the increase in student learning outcomes in the second semester of the Hindu Religious Education Study Program after applying the poster media was 0.42 with a moderate significance level. The results showed that the poster media based on pictorial riddles that was developed was very well used as teaching material in the Hindu Religious Education Study Program.

Abstract

Tantangan yang dihadapi oleh perguruan tinggi dalam pengembangan kurikulum di era Industri 4.0 adalah menghasilkan lulusan yang unggul dan berdaya saing. Maka dari itu perguruan tinggi perlu melakukan reorientasi pengembangan kurikulum yang mampu menjawab tantangan tersebut.  Kurikulum OBE dipandang sangat tepat untuk diterapkan saat ini karena didalam kurikulum OBE memuat capaian pembelajaran lulusan. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan kurikulum program pascasarjana pendidikan agama hindu menjadi kurikulum yang berbasis OBE (Outcome-Based Education). Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis metode penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) model ADDIE. Subjek penelitian ini adalah satu orang ahli materi/kurikulum, pengelola dan pengembang kebijakan dan satu orang praktisi pembelajaran (dosen) serta mahasiswa program pascasarjana pendidikan Agama Hindu. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan angket/kuisioner. Data yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini akan dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa pengembangan Kurikulum Berbasis OBE (Outcome Based Education) dengan Nilai-nilai Karakter untuk meningkatkan kualitas mutu Pendidikan sangat layak digunakan sebagai kurikulum. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu Kurikulum Berbasis OBE (Outcome Based Education) dengan Nilai-nilai Karakter dapat meningkatkan kualitas mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

A harmonious relationship with God can be realized by thanking, devotion (Bhakti), and belief (Sraddha). Human devotion to God is realized by building a sacred building or temple. There are several temples with unique and high religious values in Bali, especially Hyang Waringin Temple. This temple is located in Kubu Pakraman Village, Bangli District, Bangli Regency. The existence of this temple is unique, which has unique traditions, such as the Ngusabha ceremony during Sasih Kaenem, Nimbang Sanganan Kukus Injin tradition, and the implementation Yadnya tradition held at Hyang Waringin temple led by Jro Mangku because of the Siva Bhuda concept. This study used several methods: observation, interviews, documentation, and literature. All collected data were reduced, displayed, and verified. The results showed that (1) Hyang Waringin Temple was a public temple, and the existence of this temple was closely related to the Kehen Temple’s history in Bangli. (2) The procession of religious ceremony tradition in Hyang Waringin Temple was the community’s gratitude and joy for the abundance of His grace of traditions. (3) The meaning of the religious ceremony tradition at Hyang Waringin Temple from the perspective of Hindu religious education, namely the meaning of Tattwa, Ethical, ritual, Tri Hita Karana, Socio-religious, and Tattwamasi education. This study found that Hyang Waringin Temple in Kubu Pakraman Village still exists and has religious traditions nowadays. It became a reflection for the Kubu Pakraman Village community to increase the high religiosity aspect, which is expected to increase the community’s belief (Sradha) and devotion (Bhakti).

Abstract

The Hindu religious education learning process should be designed systematically to achieve the objectives (1) to develop and improve the quality of Sraddha (belief) and Bhakti (piety) of the people through providing, emphasizing, appreciating, and practicing the Hindu religious teachings, and (2) building a Hindu society that can realize the Moksartham Jagathita values in its life. Based on the pretest results in October on the student learning outcomes of Hindu religious and character (Budi Pekerti) education of fifth-grade students at SD Mahardika Denpasar, it showed that the level of student learning completeness was still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). The cause of the low learning completeness values of students was that it was below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). It can be identified from most students who still have difficulty and often forget to understand the subject matter provided. The reason was that the teacher still functions as the primary source of learning that provides knowledge to students instead of being a student facilitator. Students only pay attention to explanations, accept the teacher’s examples, and are never directly involved in solving problems. This study aimed to determine how the best implementation of applying the Problem-Based Learning model improves the learning outcomes of Hindu religious and character (Budi Pekerti) education in fifth-grade students at SD Mahardika Denpasar. The research method used in this study was the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The research was conducted in several stages or cycles. Reflection on cycle I was carried out to determine the steps for improvement in cycle II. Based on the evaluation data of student learning outcomes that have been carried out from activities in cycle I and cycle II showed a significant increase. The evaluation results of the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Mahardika Denpasar in the 2022/2023 academic year showed an increase in the student learning outcomes in Hindu religious and character (Budi Pekerti) education lessons.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on the world of education, this influence is a challenge for academics to realize national education goals through Hindu religious education. It is felt that it is very important to research the online learning paradigm in Hindu religious education during the Covid-19 pandemic which was carried out in the Hindu religious education study program STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja. The purpose of this research is to find out the online learning paradigm, and to find out character strengthening through Hindu religious education during a pandemic. This research is a qualitative research that displays descriptive data consisting of words. An analysis was carried out based on the theory of social change, the theory of behaviorism and Technological Determinism. This study obtained the results, namely the problems faced by students when learning online were lectures getting bored quickly, constrained by cellular operator signals, reduced communication between students and lecturers, inadequate equipment, quota fees, communication with parents was not directed. The challenges faced are not accustomed to online and independent learning, limited internet network, internet access and electricity, lack of facilities and resources, non-conducive environment, children are enthusiastic with their friends, the ability of parents to accompany children to study is different. There is a digital education transition that is felt, namely before the pandemic learning was carried out face-to-face, during the pandemic it was carried out fully online, after the pandemic it is likely that offline and online systems will be implemented. The principles of online learning are learning is open, social, personal, augmented, multirepresented, and learning is mobile. Strengthening the character of students must be accustomed to carrying out positive habits starting at home from maintaining cleanliness and health, carrying out useful activities, praying diligently and respecting and being polite to parents.
