Abstract

A country's economy is determined by government revenue, and government revenue is also closely related to regional income. Meanwhile, regional income is also related to community income. Many opportunities can improve the economy. Khairil Anwar's research revealed that many of the items sold in the city of Meulaboh and the surrounding area came from other regions both inside and outside the Aceh region. Of course, if this can be done by the people of West Aceh, the community's economy will improve. To improve community welfare, it is important to gain insight into the community. The method of implementation is to gather parishioners and then give them an overview of the results of research on goods used and consumed by the community. Then together, calculate the potential that can be done. As a result, the community has realized many ways to increase family income while increasing welfare by only planting bananas and chicken pieces.

Abstract

Education about the use of media especially digital media is now important to be given to all levels of society, especially the younger generation, so that this socialization is aimed at students at the Nurul Falah Islamic Boarding School Dayah Inti Meulaboh. The method of socialization used was the presentation of theories about social media including how to distinguish between facts and hoax. The socialization took place interactively, there was a discussion room so as to facilitate the speaker in achieving the objectives of the socialization.. The results of socialization show that initially the students did not really understand related to how to filter information to distinguish hoax and facts. That is because, they are less intense using handphone, so that students can easily trust information obtained from the internet, especially social media. With this socialization, students have been theoretically equipped about how to filter information and distinguish between hoax and facts, and are able to stimulate students to be more observant and critical in responding to information.

Abstract

Remaja adalah generasi penerus bangsa yang harus dibangun sisi kreatifitasnya untuk mampu melahirkan produktivitas dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari dan untuk hidup berdampingan dengan masyarakat. Membangun sisi kepribadian remaja kreatif-produktif, secara nyata remaja  harus diajuhkan dari narkoba, baik ganja, sabu-sabu dan jenis narkoba laiinya. Narkoba adalah zat kimia yang mampu membunuh kreatifitas remaja selain membunuh mental sisi lainnya serta merusak kesehatannya. Sudah banyak kasus-kasus remaja yang bermasalah setelah mencicipi narkoba, sehingga kondisi seperti itu meresahkan masyarakat dan mengganggu keharmonisan dalam masyarakat. Untuk menyadarkan remaja-remaja tersebut, sosialisasi remahja kreatif-produktif dan anti narkoba harus dilakukan diwilayah pedesaan. Berpikir kreatif dan produktif akan melahirkan banyak manfaat posistif bagi kehidupan remaja dan tidak ada masalah-masalah sosial yang muncul yang disebabkan oleh remaja. Berpikir kreatif-produktif mampu menciptkan perubahan-perubahan yang posistif bagi kehidupan remaja itu sendiri, misalnya, akan melatih remaja untuk mendisplinkan diri, mampu melahirkan ide-ide baru, mampu untuk melakukan hal-hal positif juga, seperti berjualan, menjaga sikap dimasyarakat dan mampu menyusun rencana masa depan yang baik.

Abstract

Setiap perguruan tinggi ingin selalu maju dan tampak terbaik di mata masyarakat umum atau pun dunia pendidikan. Menjadi terbaik dan kampus maju itu saat ini dapat dilihat dari beberapa indikator, diantaranya adalah karya dosen dan mahsiswa diakui oleh akademisi yang banyak menghasilkan tulisan sebagai hasil karyanya maupun karya yang dapat diadopsi atau digunakan masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya. Adapun pengakuan akademisi itu dapat dilihat dengan adanya sitasi dari karya dosen dan mahasiswa tadi. Namun tidak semua karya dosen dan mahasiswa dapat disitasi dikarenakan teknik penulisan yang salah. Teknik penulisan yang dimaksud adalah penggunaan aplikasi dalam melakukan kutipan, khususnya mengutip karya ilmiah dosen dan mahasiswa yang lebih dahulu menghasilkan karya ilmiah. Yang menjadi masalah adalah tidak banyak mahasiswa bahkan dosen saat ini yang menguasai aplikasi tersebut. Untuk itu kegiatan ini dilakukan agar mahasiswa mampu melakukan penulisan karya ilmiah yang baik menggunkan aplikasi mendeley. Kegiatan diikuti masyarakat berpendidikan tinggi yang berada di sekitar Kota Meulaboh. Setelah dilakukan kegiatan ini masyarakat berpendidikan tinggi yang mengikuti mampu melakukan penulisan ilmiah dengan teknik kutipan yang menggunakan aplikasi mendeley. Kata Kunci: skripsi, artikel, rujukan, kutipan, mendeley

Abstract

AbstractMany OJS-based journal managers do not understand the steps that should be taken. Many still publish by relying on back issues, even though the applications used are already based on OJS. The important thing that becomes the question is how is the real management of OJS-based scientific journals? For this reason, it is very important to carry out this socialization to increase the capacity of journal managers so that they can be even better and by the applicable standards in OJS. The method of implementation is face-to-face with the presentation of material in the form of material slides. Participants who attended were journaled managers who had frequently opened the OJS application so that in general they understood how the OJS application worked. However, this participant needs to be deepened considering that several steps are often missed in journal management. The results of the socialization showed that the participants had increased their understanding of step by step journal management. This can be seen from the results of discussions or questions and answers at the end of the material presentation session. Thus it can be concluded that the journal society is ready to be operationalized or ready to accept article manuscripts from students.

Abstract

The existence and quality of higher education nowadays can be influenced by the high and low levels of scientific work owned by lecturers and students. This scientific work becomes very important in the existence and quality of tertiary institutions because it's ranking at the national and international level is calculated on the ownership of the scientific work. So it is not surprising that BAN-PT as an external quality assurance institution which also has the task of assessing the accreditation of higher education also includes its assessment on this matter. Thus higher education that is technically operational at the study program level also pressures lecturers and students to be productive, which is to produce as much scientific work as possible. Even some lecturers provide requirements for students to write a scientific paper when they want to propose a thesis session. However, the number of scientific works owned by lecturers and students will not mean anything when not published in a journal that uses an open journal system. This emphasis lies in the open journal system, where the meaning will be far different from online journals. In general, not many students understand how to submit scientific papers in the form of articles to the open journal system there are still many lecturers who do not understand the process in the open journal system. For this reason, knowledge transfer in the form of technical training to submit articles in the online journal system is carried out. The main goal is to provide knowledge and insight into submitting articles. The results of the activity show the progress of understanding and knowledge, this is proven by simulations through the application of OJS version 2 which is used for the training process by the participants.
