The cattle fattening industry faces challenges from external factors, especially macroeconomic conditions and industry challenges with the increasing beef substitution imports to replace fresh beef. This research aimed to analyze the dynamics of cattle fattening industry in Indonesia. Porter's Five Forces analysis was conducted to see the mapping of competitions in the cattle fattening industry. PESTEL analysis was conducted to see external factors that affected live cattle imports in Indonesia. Cointegration and Error Correction Model analysis was conducted to see important and influencing factors of live cattle imports in Indonesia as the dependent variables and exchange rates, Gross Domestic Product, beef imports, beef offal imports and buffalo meat imports as the independent variables. This research used time series data based on the 2011-2019 data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture and Bank Indonesia. The results of Porter's Five Forces analysis showed high competition in the cattle fattening industry with the threat of substitute products, which was the factor that fully needed a response with the right strategy by the cattle fattening industry. The results of PESTEL analysis showed that external factors had a high effect on the cattle fattening industry, with the most important things that needed to be considered based on conditions, influences on the industry and level of importance including the factors of the development of animal feed technology, exchange rate fluctuation and national economic growth. The results of the Cointegration and Error Correction Model analysis showed that the factors that were important and affected live cattle imports in Indonesia included exchange rates, beef imports and buffalo meat imports. Keywords: beef, buffalo meat, error correction model, exchange rate, live cattle

This paper explores inclusive business practices by focusing on the relationship between investments for-profit and social impact for small-scale farmers. Value chain mapping was used and combined with business model canvas to enable fact-finding and linkage between profit-taking action and social impact in the coffee value chain. The study was performed in two regions: East Java and North Sumatra. The study interviewed 72 farmers from Bondowoso District, East Java, and 30 farmers from Mandailing Natal District, North Sumatra. The qualitative analysis revealed the role of local organization networks in supporting the extension and improving performance in value chain governance. The organization networks supported social issues and provided access to diverse resources and environments for companies to build commitments. Furthermore, the business model canvas modeled value propositions that were practically tackling the dimensions of profit and social impact to the organization's context. The coffee value chains in both regions were differ based on key features and elements of small farmers' inclusion in the coffee value chain. The findings show that the coffee business model in Mandailing Natal encouraged smallholder farmer inclusion better than in Bondowoso. Therefore, the study implies that a shifting from profit into social initiatives in inclusive business is needed. This study provides practical evidence of business model canvas in the coffee value chain cases, showing how to develop a mission social innovation in a profit organization. PT Freeport Indonesia (PT FI) applies strict rule to prevent vehicle accident. In fact, the number of vehicle accident is recorded highly enough. The objectives of the research are to (1) identify the most influential factor to the number of light vehicle accident; (2) formulate the right planning to reduce the number of light vehicle accident; (3) provide recommendation to PT FI management to reduce the number of light vehicle accident at PT FI. The research applies used primary and secondary data resource. Secondary data taken from report data of vehicle accident is grouped using Contributory Factor Interaction Model (CFIM) to identify the causing factor of the accidents cause. Afterwards, identification of program improvement planning is conducted using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The result of the research conveys that the most influential factor of light vehicle accident at PT FI is unsafe behavior of the driver. The right planning to reduce the number of light vehicle accident at PT FI, it is suggested to is conduct the human resources planning by providing training to improve soft skill and hard skill of the driver. One of the mine expansions that is expected to accelerate the production rate of PT Freeport Indonesia is the Deep Mill Level Zone (DMLZ) mine. The block caving mining method used at the DMLZ mine results in higher productivity levels at lower operating costs but requires ongoing equipment maintenance. This research aims to describe the factors and criteria that determine the production process, find a performance management model, and find the right strategic priorities to increase productivity at DMLZ mine. We analysed the condition of the maintenance management system at the DMLZ mine to find solutions and strategies so that equipment maintenance could be managed effectively. Sustainable Safe Production performance management is developed based on the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach combined with the Analytical Network Process (ANP), which is expected to determine the priority of solutions and strategies based on predetermined criteria and indicators. This performance management model considers six perspectives: finance, customers, production, safety, internal business processes, and learning and growth processes as benchmarks in measuring performance. We explained the determination of priority strategies that can be done to achieve three goals in sustainable safe production management: achieving production targets, safe and healthy mining processes, and achieving operational cost-effectiveness. Keywords: analytical network process (ANP), balanced scorecard (BSC), performance management, safe production, sustainable production

PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) plans to build a new power generation facility in the face of production expansion, especially underground mine and mill optimization, which has an impact on increasing the demand for electricity up to 374.8 MW. The selection of the right type of power plant, will greatly determine the continuity of the electricity supply operation. There are many things to consider, making it difficult for companies to determine the type of new power plant. Therefore, this study aims to (1) determine the most important factors to consider in the construction of PTFI's new power plant; (2) provide recommendations for the choice of the best type of new power plant for PTFI. This study uses the method of literature review, expert interviews and questionnaires, which are processed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results of the study indicate that conformity with the existing power generation facilities and support from government policies are the most important factors and sub-factors that must be considered by PTFI in the construction of new power plants in the Special Mining Business License (IUPK) area. The recommended type of new power plant is the Dual Fuel Power Plant (DFPP). The term Work from home (WFH) has become increasingly popular after the Covid-19 spread occurred in various parts of the world, including in Indonesia. The implementation of work from home simultaneously in various companies is something new in Indonesia. Therefore it is necessary to investigate the factors of work from home implementation to determine the effectiveness of outcome-based telework. This research uses the descriptive analysis method and Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The type of data used in this research is quantitative by using primary data in the form of direct interviews and filling out questionnaires to the employees or professional workers in Indonesia who work by telework/ work from the home program during the pandemic of Covid 19 situations. Secondary data gathered from literature studies and previous research. The results of this study indicate that five variables have a significant influence, namely the possibility to work from home because of the type of work, possession to work during the most productive time, suitability of a working place at home, time efficiency, and team member support. The suitability variable of a working place at home has the most significant influence compared to other variables.

Since 2014 the government has focused on developing national infrastructure as stated in Nawacita and as seen in the significant increase in the infrastructure budget from 2015-2019. However, the increase in the infrastructure budget did not affect the private building construction sub-sector companies' profit. This study aims to measure the financial performance of the private building construction sub-sector and to determine the significance of the differences between financial performance before and after infrastructure becomes the focus of development. Purposive sampling was used within the criteria of a private building construction sub-sector company that publishes annual financial reports for 2011-2019. The period is divided into two, before infrastructure becomes the focus of development (2011 - 2014) and after infrastructure becomes the focus of development (2015 - 2019). Paired sample t-test and financial ratio analysis (FRA) were used to analyze the data. The results show that return on assets and total asset turnover have a significant difference between the period before and after infrastructure becomes the focus of development, while the current ratio and debt to equity ratio are not significantly different. These findings can be useful for company managers who would continue to explore opportunities to provide higher profits. Keywords: financial performance, construction, profitability, solvency
