Abstract

Pada periode tahun 2021, salah satu proyek yang hendak dikerjakan oleh PT. NOV Profab ialah proyek X. pada proses pengadaan bahan material proyek X mengalami keterlambatan hal ini menghambat proses produksi Proyek X. Dalam penelitian ini, penyebab keterlambatan dianalisis menggunakan Cause-Efferct diagram dan metode kipling untuk memperoleh ususlan perbaikan guna mengurangi resiko terjadinya keterlambatan datangnya barang untuk proyek dimasa depan dan hasil identifikasi masalah, diperoleh 4 faktor penyebab keterlambatan bahan material proyek x, yaitu factor manusia, material, metode dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Transportation is something that is very close and cannot be separated in today's life. Facilities are elements related to the level of satisfaction of service users. The availability of adequate facilities encourages passengers to feel satisfaction with the company's performance. The research uses quantitative analysis methods. The aim of this research is to determine the significant influence of facilities, service quality and price perceptions partially and simultaneously on Trans Batam user satisfaction. This research found that partially facilities (X1), service quality (X2) and price perception (X3) had a significant influence on passenger satisfaction (Y). From the test results, the calculated F value is 155,889 with the F table being 2.65 so that the calculated F value > F table or 155,889 > 2.65 and the significant level is 0.000 < 0.05, so H4 is accepted, it can be concluded that simultaneously the facility variables (X1), service quality (X2) and price perception (X3) simultaneously influence Trans Batam Bus passenger satisfaction.

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para pelaku UMKM di Kota Batam adalah kurangnya akses terhadap informasi dan pengetahuan yang dapat membantu mereka dalam meningkatkan kinerja dan pendapatan usaha, terutama dalam bidang pemasaran digital untuk meningkatkan brand value. Oleh karena itu, rumusan masalah dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah bagaimana pemanfaatan digital marketing dan media sosial dapat dioptimalkan untuk meningkatkan brand value UMKM serta berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja dan pendapatan. Tujuan khusus dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu memberikan literasi dan edukasi digital yang diperlukan oleh UMKM di Kota Batam untuk meningkatkan brand value serta berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja dan pendapatan dan membantu UMKM memanfaatkan teknologi yang ada saat ini secara mandiri. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini akan diselesaikan dalam 6 tahapan. Adapun tahapannya yaitu; studi literatur, identifikasi kebutuhan, pembuatan rencana pendampingan, pelaksanaan pendampingan, evaluasi dan penyusunan laporan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini ditargetkan dapat diselesaikan hingga bulan Desember Tahun 2023.

Abstract

Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai penggunaan Warehouse Management System (WMS) dalam pengelolaan pergudangan kepada siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Pinang. Melalui pendekatan pembelajaran interaktif yang mencakup teori dan praktik, siswa diperkenalkan pada konsep, fungsi, dan penerapan WMS. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan, di mana 69% siswa mencapai kategori "Paham" dan 16% "Sangat Paham" setelah mengikuti pelatihan, dibandingkan dengan hasil pre-test. Media pembelajaran berupa buku panduan dan video tutorial dinilai efektif, dengan 66% dan 56% siswa yang menyatakan media tersebut mendukung pembelajaran. Selain itu, 94% peserta menyatakan siap untuk menerapkan ilmu ini di dunia kerja. Dengan demikian, program ini memberikan kontribusi positif dalam mempersiapkan tenaga kerja muda yang kompeten dan berdaya saing di industri logistik.

Abstract

Sagala Tofu and Tempeh MSMEs face challenges in selecting soybean suppliers due to inconsistencies in price, quality, and delivery reliability, which impact production and market demand fulfillment. Sagala Tofu and Tempe MSME is one of the MSMEs that requires 100–150 kg of soybeans daily. This research aims to help Sagala Tofu and Tempe MSME identify the correct standards (priority criteria/sub-criteria) for making decisions regarding soybean raw materials and to determine the best soybean supplier. The research method used is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results show that the priority criterion is quality (0.469), followed by price (0.230), quantity accuracy (0.159), delivery (0.102), and customer care (0.038). Based on these supplier selection criteria, supplier X was rated the best, with a score of 0.420, followed by supplier Z (0.340) and supplier Y (0.240).

Abstract

The research conducted aims to identify hazard risks in receiving activities at the PT XYZ Warehouse. Data collection was carried out through field observations and interviews. Implemented using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method in analyzing potential risks and hazards to obtain a Risk Priority Number (RPN) value as a risk control priority. The results of the study obtained 10 potential hazards with 11 risks that can cause work accidents. The highest RPN was obtained in the process of physical inspection of work goods with the potential hazard of using cutting tools. The RPN value obtained was 32. Potential hazards can be avoided by controlling the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), monitoring, and increasing self-awareness that occupational safety and health are important.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) faced by Surya Utama Building Store in competing within the building materials business in Batam City. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using IFAS and EFAS matrices to assess the company’s internal and external factors. The results show that the store’s main strengths lie in its strategic location, product quality, and good service, although it still faces weaknesses such as conventional promotion and limited capital. Externally, the store has opportunities from government regulatory support and infrastructure development, but it also faces threats from competitors who are more active in promotion and price wars. The store’s strategic position is in quadrant I (aggressive), indicating that growth strategies can be optimized by leveraging strengths to seize market opportunities. This study recommends enhancing digitalization, reorganizing the store, strengthening human resources, and adopting technology-based promotional strategies to improve competitiveness and business sustainability.

Abstract

Pemerintah Indonesia memandang penting keberadaan para pelaku UMKM dengan melakukan berbagai upaya-upaya dalam meningkatkan daya saing UMKM. Sebagai kota industri, jumlah UMKM di Kota Batam berkembang cukup pesat akan tetapi banyak usaha yang terdampak akibat pandemi selama dua tahun belakangan ini. Sebagai salah satu usaha dalam mengurangi dampak tersebut dari sisi akademisi yaitu dengan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat serta penelitian. Salah satu hasil penelitian terkait yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Hati dan Anishafitri tahun 2021 tentang analisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan UMKM selama pandemi. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut dilanjutkan dengan mengadakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengenai Peningkatan Kinerja UMKM Bidang Manufaktur Melalui Pendampingan dan Edukasi Pengelolaan Persediaan Bahan Baku. Topik pengabdian yang diajukan disesuaikan dengan roadmap pusat kajian UMKM, gender dan disabilitas. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini juga akan dikolaborasikan dengan PBL mata kuliah Logistik & Rantai Pasok, Pergudangan & Persediaan, K3 & Lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa tahap yang dimulai dari diskusi dengan pelaku UMKM terkait dengan kebutuhan mereka mengenai sistem pengelolaan persediaan bahan baku serta akan dilaksanakan pula pemberian edukasi dan pendampingan dengan menggunakan video-video edukasi yang dikembangkan dan pelaksanaan webinar bersama para pelaku UMKM di Kota Batam.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the concept of the most appropriate marketing strategic to be applied to the Agribisnis Semangka Batam of Kepulauan Setokok Batam. This research uses descriptive analysis with qualitative approach. The data sources used in this analysis are primary data from respondents and secondary data from company documents. The technical analysis of the data used is carried out through SWOT analysis. The results show that the position Agribisnis Semangka in unit I using the SWOT chart indicates that the outcome of the analysis is positive, and the correct strategy at this position is the "growth strategy". Abstract

Socialization and education regarding customs regulations for small entrepreneurs will be very useful for the development of Small Businesses, which is very important in the current conditions, where the Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the national economy, especially for Batam. This service leads to socialization and education of regulations related to customs for small entrepreneurs. This community service activity aims to provide socialization and education related to customs regulations for micro, small and medium enterprises in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. The target of this service is SMEs in Batam. The purpose of this service is to: 1. Provide socialization of customs regulations for small entrepreneurs in Batam. 2. Provide education on customs regulations for small entrepreneurs in Batam. 3. Know the understanding of small entrepreneurs about customs regulations that encourage exports for small entrepreneurs and understand the understanding of shipping regulations. The method that will be implemented is by conducting online training, providing pocket books and motion graphics videos. The expected result is the existence of pocket books and motion graphics videos that can be accessed by small business actors, MSMEs, companies and the community. This service is one of the implementations of Project-Based Learning for courses in international trade law and taxation as well as international trade.
