Abstract

The decline in the lives of coastal communities in remote areas of Karawang Regency requires concern from various stakeholders, including universities (in this case, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang). Therefore, to educate the next generation to foster concern for coastal communities, a community service team carried out this social service activity. The activity location was Tanjungbaru Hutment, Pasirjaya Village, Cilamaya Kulon Subdistrict, Karawang Regency, on Saturday, 9 March 2024. This activity involved 23 students of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, by implementing an observational socialization method. The impact of this activity on the local community, including the provision of food assistance, was significant. Meanwhile, the benefits obtained by the students are primarily related to educating their caring attitude towards people experiencing poverty in their campus area.

Abstract

Community service activities to introduce the profession in the field of Accounting are greatly needed, particularly for students of the Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Therefore, the community service team from Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang took the initiative to organize an activity to introduce the profession. This activity was attended by 59 students of the university's Accounting Department. The activity was located at Campus 2, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. The method of implementing the activity applied the socialization method. This activity provides benefits to students of the Accounting Department of this university in the form of gaining new knowledge and insights into various professions in the field of Accounting, as well as motivating them to pursue their careers in the future in other Accounting professions besides Corporate Accountants. Suggestions for this activity in the future are to hold it continuously and target all students of the Accounting Department of this university so that information and knowledge about the Accounting profession are fully conveyed to students of the department.

Abstract

The high vulnerability and damage to the coastal areas of Karawang Regency, including the impact of coastal erosion, has further exacerbated the region's high poverty level. For this reason, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang and other universities took the initiative to organize community service in the form of social service activities involving students with various designed objectives. Firstly, this activity is expected to help with the problems faced by coastal communities in Karawang Regency. Secondly, this activity educates students to increase their concern for fellow human beings, especially coastal communities. Thirdly, this activity is expected to improve the image of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang in the looks of the people of Karawang Regency through its contribution to providing solutions to various problems the community faces. This activity was accomplished well, collaborating with various parties, particularly the apparatus of Sedari Village, Cibuaya Subdistrict, Karawang Regency.

Abstract

The financial literacy program is an effort made by the Financial Services Authority to direct the community to manage their finances better. This is expected to improve the welfare of the community itself. Meanwhile, community service activities that overlap with the program, including organizing capital market education activities, particularly for students of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang, are still very lacking. Therefore, the community service team of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang took the initiative to carry out the capital market education activity. This activity was held online on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, and attended by 68 students of the university's Bachelor's degree in Management. The method of implementing the activity used a general lecture format. This activity provides conclusions regarding the motivation of students to invest in the capital market. The message that can be taken from this activity is that anyone (including students) can start investing in the capital market without limitations, anytime and anywhere, with any nominal amount. The key is that students must possess a strong willingness and the ability to analyze investment products, ensuring that opportunities for optimal returns remain open while maintaining a well-managed risk profile.

Abstract

The increasing demands of today's workforce recipients encourage efforts to enhance university student readiness in transitioning to the work atmosphere. To support these needs, the community service team held community service through career guidance activities for university students of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. The method of implementing the activity employed counseling. The results of this activity provide benefits for university students, including obtaining new knowledge and raising insight concerning the work atmosphere, as well as strengthening university students' understanding of the sub-field of Human Resource Management. The community service team suggests that this activity can be held in the future by inviting different speakers and covering a wider range of participants.

Abstract

Hardware, paint, other building products, and glass are all sold in specialty shops and retail trade by TB Muncul Agung. Currently, the system at TB Muncul Agung manages the manual (traditional) buying and selling procedure. During the process of verifying stock, this condition frequently arises. The lack of organization in the information on the placement of the merchandise is another issue that exists in TB Muncul Agung. This scenario creates issues in the form of erroneous stock data and product position information, which costs the organization money. Due of this, information modeling was used in this study to define the requirements of both purchasing and selling. The enterprise resource planning (ERP) created as a result of the modeling is implemented using the Odoo application. The results of the implementation demonstrate that Odoo may be used for UML modeling and implementation as required. Odoo provides a wide range of integrated modules, including modules for customer administration, accounting, sales, and even purchasing

Abstract

The rapid development of existing technology challenges the business world to be able to develop its business. Information technology is a way for companies to compete in the era of technological development like today. RatuRatus is a producer of processed spices and herbs that implements information technology into its business. The level of company data problems that are quite complex makes RatuRatus use Odoo to overcome these problems. Odoo is an Enterprise Resource Planning-based software that is open source so that it is used by companies that are just digitizing themselves. Through Odoo RatuRatus can develop several modules, namely the Inventory Module, Purchase Module, Manufacturing Module, Sales Module, and Accounting Module so that company data can be integrated efficiently, effectively, and the company will not experience data loss.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the Bank Rakyat Indonesia Banking Financial Institution in Empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The results obtained by the community are still reluctant to borrow capital through financial institutions due to complicated procedures, while showing that BRI through the People's Kredit Usaha Rakyat program (KUR) can help the progress of UMKM and UKMs, especially in Karawang Regency, through financing and empowerment with low-interest rates. . From the findings, BRI needs to take several approaches to the community, to create trust and change the negative stigma with the KUR program at Bank Rakyat Indonesia.

Abstract

The implementation of this career guidance is based on the importance of helping direct students to prepare their future career plans. Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang must contribute to the problems faced by the community and other stakeholders around their campus. Given the lack of career guidance activities in high schools in the Bekasi Regency area, the community service team determined the location of the community service activity at State Vocational High School 1 Pebayuran, Bekasi Regency. This activity was combined with the Real Work Lecture of Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang students in Sumberurip Village, Pebayuran Subdistrict, Bekasi Regency. This activity was held offline on Monday, January 20, 2025. The method of implementing the activity used the counseling method. This activity provides input and suggestions to students according to their choices (working or pursuing higher education) by considering opportunity costs.

Abstract

Akuntan pajak merupakan profesi yang sangat krusial dalam pengelolaan transaksi keuangan yang berkaitan dengan pengurusan pajak. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdi dari Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang memandang penting penyebarluasan informasi tentang profesi akuntan pajak kepada para mahasiswa Jurusan Akuntansi dan Manajemen berbagai perguruan tinggi di wilayah Kabupaten Karawang. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menerapkan metode sosialisasi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada hari Kamis, tanggal 12 Juni 2025, diikuti oleh para peserta sebanyak 19 mahasiswa. Lokasi kegiatan berlangsung di Gedung Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Universitas Singaperbangsa Karawang. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini telah memberikan manfaat kepada para mahasiswa, terutama terbukanya wawasan mereka terhadap bidang profesi akuntan pajak.Untuk menyiapkan mereka menjadi akuntan pajak, mereka harus membekali dirinya dengan peningkatan keterampilan dalam bidang digital, pemahaman regulasi, dan keikutsertaan pelatihan sertifikasi.
