Abstract

This study aims to explain the influence of exemplary leadership, creative climate, collective trust, and commitment to teachers' innovative work behavior. The research method used is a survey. The research sample consisted of 100 teachers spread across five Catholic Senior High Schools (SMA) located in Manado City. The research data were collected using a questionnaire technique and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques. Based on the results of the study, it shows that both individually and simultaneously, exemplary leadership, creative climate, collective trust, and commitment have a positive and significant effect on teachers' innovative work behavior. The results of the research were discussed and conclusions were drawn as well as suggestions for future research on teachers' innovative work behavior.

Abstract

Learning physics is often seen as an abstract science presented in a theory that is less interesting and seems difficult, and assumes that physics is difficult to master and understand. With the PBL (problem based learning) learning model, it is expected to make a major contribution to students where students are able to master and understand a physics concept. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the PBL learning model using demonstration and experimental methods on learning outcomes of physics about Newton's law at SMK Anugrah Tondano in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. This study used a posttest-only control group design. The treatment used in this experiment is a PBL learning model using demonstration and experimental methods. Analysis of the data used is normality test and statistical test with the help of SPSS 25 application. The results of this study indicate that the problem based learning (PBL) model has an effect on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Research was carried out on physics learning models using light refraction material with graph line. The purpose of this study is to determine student learning outcomes using the PIMCA (Presentation, Idea Mapping, Conceptualization and Formative Assessment) model introduced and developed by Cosmas Poluakan. This study was carried out at SMA Negeri 1 Passi with a number of participants of up to 20 students. The design of this study is based on the One Group Pretest-Posttest-Design. The instruments used in this study were pretest and posttest. The process of this research starts with the pretest, implementing physics learning by following the 4 steps of the PIMCA model, and ends with the posttest. The results of the descriptive statistics showed an average pretest score of 30.00 and a posttest score of 77.77 with a difference of 47.77. From the results of the analysis with the N-Gain test, there were 10 students who experienced an increase in learning outcomes in the high category, 9 students who experienced an increase in learning outcomes in the middle category, and 1 student who experienced an increase in the Learning outcomes in the lower category. With a percentage of 50% of students experiencing an increase in learning outcomes in the high category. Thus, the results of this study show that the PIMCA learning model is very effective in learning physics.

Abstract

Pendidikan pada masa sekarang merupakan salah satu penentu kemajuan suatu negara. Negara yang memiliki anak-anak cerdas akan membantu pembangunan di masa mendatang, generasi penerus yang akan menjadi kebanggaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan model pembelajaran PIMCA berbasis MR-SR dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi sistem kelistrikan (listrik statis). Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Tempat penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP GPdI Berea Tondano pada siswa kelas IX. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 26 siswa. Data penelitian diperoleh dari data pretest, posttest dan siklus I. Persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar pada siklus 1 secara klasikal keseluruhan dari 26 siswa sudah sangat baik dan memenuhi kriteria ketuntasan minimal yaitu 75 pada materi kelistrikan (listrik statis). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PIMCA berbasis MR-SR dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar materi sistem kelistrikan (listrik statis) pada mata pelajaran IPA siswa kelas IX SMP GPdI Berea Tondano.

Abstract

Indonesia's geological conditions make a real contribution to the availability of geothermal energy in Indonesia, the types of rocks that exist in the area of ​​manifestation vary in metal and mineral content. North Sulawesi Province is one of the regions that has alteration rocks which are found in many areas of manifestation of geothermal. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition of elements and types of minerals in altered rocks in the manifestation area of ​​Koya Hot Springs, South Tondano District, North Sulawesi Province. The method used is the electron beam method on SEM, and EDX uses the energy dispersive X-ray and FTIR methods. The results of the analysis on SEM-EDX showed that in sample-1 the rocks in the hot springs had elements containing 30.51% silica (Si) minerals and 69.49% oxygen (O) while in sample-2 oxygen-O 71,89 %, silica (Si) 15.28 % and aluminum (Al) 12.83%. The FTIR spectra of sample-1 with 778 cm-1 and sample-2 779 cm-1 wavenumber are quartz. This result is consistent with SEM-EDX analysis with the mineral composition is Silica (Si) and Oxygen (O).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek pada subtema “Bagaimana tubuh mengelola makanan?”. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan tekhnik triangulasi untuk memperoleh dan mmproses data. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Compreng I Kecamatan Widang Kabupaten Tuban. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas VB dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 16 orang.  Berdasarka hasil analisis data penelitian melalui observasi, analisa proses dan hasil belajar serta inteview menunjukkan  bahwa pembelajaran dengan project based learning dapat meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu peserta didik dapat menghasilkan proyek dengan nilai presisi tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil temuan tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa setiap tahapan pada model pembelajaran berbasis proyek setidaknya mengembangkan satu aspek keterampilan berfikir abad 21. Peserta didik mengkonstruksi pengetahuan mereka secara kolaboratif untuk menghasilkan karya buah kreatifitas dan inovasi mereka. Kemudian mereka mengkomunikasikan dan mengavaluasi hasil kerja satu sama lain. Sehingga mereka mendapatkan pengetahuan yang lebih baik dari pengalaman belajar yang telah dilalui.

Abstract

Research has been carried out to find the level of student ability and the level of difficulty of essay questions on fractions, through polytomous data analysis by applying the Rasch model. The research was conducted in the In-Service Professional Teacher Education program, specifically in the Elementary School Teacher Education. The research was conducted at Belang 1 State Elementary School, Southeast Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, in grade 6 with a total of 27 students. Experimental research method with one group pretest-posttest design. The experimental treatment is a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The test instrument is in the form of an essay with material on adding fractions with different denominators. The instrument was content validated through a video conference forum attended by experts, tutors, and subject teachers. Data was collected through formative pre-tests and post-tests. Scores are processed as polytomy data. Data analysis used the Rasch model with the Ministep 4.3.2 software application. The results of the analysis, as a class group, the pre-test average was 7.0 and the post-test was 77.0. This group's data shows that the use of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in mathematics learning is very effective. Another conclusion is that the Rasch Model can accurately analyze polytomous data and find 1 student who has a high ability exceeding the highest level of test item difficulty in completing the essay test on adding fractions with different denominators. Then the Rasch Model can analyze the level of difficulty of the 5 items of the essay test instrument, it was found that 2 test items had a low level of difficulty. Using the Rasch model, it is consistently detected that adding fractions with different denominators containing the number 7 is categorized as having a high level of difficulty.

Abstract

Innovative learning in the 21st century requires students to have the ability to think critically, creatively, and communicatively and be able to collaborate. For this purpose, research has been carried out on Professional Teacher Education (PPG) students at Manado State University. The research aims to implement the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) and Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning models through Field Experience Program (PPL) activities. The study was conducted on a sample of 36 elementary school teachers with a total sample of 252 students in the Eastern Region of Indonesia, including the provinces of Papua, Maluku, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi and North Sulawesi. Experimental research method with the application of the PBL and PjBL models. Data was obtained from online workshop interviews and the Learning Management System (LMS) owned by the Directorate of Teacher Professional Education, Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel of the Republic of Indonesia. The data is processed from the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) documents and Teaching Modules created by the teacher then reviewing the Teaching Materials, Student Worksheets, Assessment Instruments, and Learning Media. Student learning outcomes are taken from the pre-test and post-test formative scores. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a significant increase in learning outcomes from an average Pre-Test score of 52.2 and after the learning process, the average Post-Test score increased to 84.5. This happened because the PBL and PjBL learning models had been implemented which reached 98.8%. The above learning outcomes occurred because innovative learning elements were implemented, namely 87.7% of learning based on Higher Ordered Thinking Skills, 80% of learning using Group Worksheets, 20% using Individual Worksheets, 67% of learning using Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) 33% of lessons use TPACK accompanied by Student Books and Teaching Aids. Based on the research results above, the use of PBL and PjBL in learning is a necessity. The PBL and PjBL learning models trigger and encourage students to become more creative in learning by prioritizing collaborative learning and being able to communicate experiences and learning results obtained through analytical and critical thinking.

Abstract

Penerapan media audio visual dalam pembelajaran adalah penggunaan teknologi multimedia secara audio (suara) dan visual (gambar atau video), dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman, keterlibatan, dan hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar fisika Efek Doppler dengan menerapkan media audio visual pada pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning. Penelititan dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Pre-Eksperimenta Design dengan rancangan one-group pretest-posttest. Teknik sampling menggunakan non probability sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas XI 1 dengan jumlah 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen. Data diperoleh dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan tes. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nilai dari pretest dan posttest. Selanjutnya dianalisis dengan uji normalitas dan hipotesis (uji-t). Perolehan nilai rata-rata untuk pretest 38,45 dan posttest 81,70. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan media audio visual pada pembelajaran model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Model Problem Based Learning disertai media audio visual dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran fisika sebagai alternatif dikarenakan minat dan hasil belajar yang cukup baik.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi model Project Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi sistem peredaran darah manusia pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Siau Timur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian quasi eksperimen one group pretest-postest design. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 10 orang siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan angket respon siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample T-tets dengan nilai signifikansi 0.00 < 0.05, maka tolak Ho dan terima Ha, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan implementasi model project based learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi sistem peredaran darah manusia pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 3 Siau Timur.
