Abstract

The pandemic has caused the economic sector to change, especially for businesses in the social sector. This study aims to create a business model with the concept of Islamic Social Entrepreneurship for entrepreneurial women in the pandemic Covid-19 era. This study is based on the case of Micro and Small Enterprises (SMEs) belonging to the "Association of Women Entrepreneurs of ‘Aisyiyah (IPAS)," where ‘Aisyiyah’s organization acts as a social agent. The world is currently experiencing a crisis caused by a pandemic Covid-19, resulting in a significant downturn in the Micro, Small, Medium Enterprise (MSME) sector. This research is a qualitative study and focuses on Islamic social entrepreneurship in the pandemic era. Data analysis was performed simultaneously, recursively, and dynamically, where conceptualization, categorization, and description were carried out together. This study indicates that women can be independent and improve their quality of life with Islamic social entrepreneurship following the values developed.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of workload, workplace spirituality, and work stress on the performance of Bank Syariah Indonesia Malang Area Office employees. The number of samples of this study 80 employees. The sampling technique used in this research is saturated sample. The type of research used is survey research with a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used is a questionnaire. In this research using multiple linear regression data analysis. The research results showed that workload had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, workplace spirituality had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and work stress had a positive and significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance with work ethics as moderation variable. This research was conducted on Bankaltimtara Balikpapan employees with a total of 40 respondents. The sampling technique used in this research is the total sampling technique. Using a quantitative approach. Regression analysis and the SPSS 25 program are used as the data analysis technique. The results of this study showed that organizational commitment has a very high scale range, work ethic has a very high scale range, and employee performance has a high scale range. The results showed that there was no significant influence between organizational commitment on employee performance. Work ethic is able to moderate the effect of organizational commitment on employee performance.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of work-life balance on job satisfaction mediated by burnout. This research was conducted at PT Pesona Indonesia Plywood Industri (PIPI), involving 82 employees in the veneer division. This research uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach and analyzes with path analysis. From result of this research was work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Work-life balance has a negative and significant effect on burnout, and burnout has a negative and significant effect on job satisfaction. Moreover, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction through burnout.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of training on employee performance mediated by work discipline. This study uses a quantitative and descriptive approach, with the PLS-SEM approach. The object of this research is PT. PLN (PERSERO) UP3 Jayapura with a population and sample of 70 employees. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS version 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that Training has a significant effect on employee performance. Training has a significant effect on work discipline. Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. Work discipline can mediate between training and employee performance in full, which means that work discipline can strengthen the effect of training in improving employee performance.

Abstract

Teacher performance in Indonesia is like a complex phenomenon, combining bright and shadowy sides. Many teachers in Indonesia still need to improve their qualifications and competencies. This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and competence on teacher performance and career development as mediating variables. This research was conducted on Telkom Malang Vocational School teachers, with 71 teachers as respondents. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling or census. Data collection was carried out using questionnaire techniques. The data analysis technique uses the PLS-SEM method with SmartPLS software. The results showed that motivation did not significantly affect teacher performance or career development. Conversely, competence positively and significantly influences teacher performance and career development. However, career development does not affect teacher performance. In addition, motivation does not affect teacher performance through career development, and competence does not affect teacher performance through career development. There is a need to focus on developing teacher competencies to improve their performance and career. Motivation may not be a key factor, but it is vital to maintain adequate motivation in a work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to study how Employee Performance is affected by Transformational Leadership using Readiness to Change as a mediator. The method used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS), and it includes 54 employees of PT Bank BRI KC Malang Kawi. This research reveals that Transformational Leadership has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, and also shows a significant positive correlation with readiness to change. Apart from that, Readiness to Change has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Readiness to Change is also a full mediator in the relationship between Transformational Leadership and Employee Performance.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of talent management and work motivation on employee performance with employee retention as an intervening variable at Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia (BKPSDM) Jombang Regency. The population and sample in this study were all 50 employees using a total sampling technique. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study conclude that talent management has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, talent management has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee retention, employee retention has a positive effect and significantly on employee performance, employee retention is able to mediate positively and significantly the relationship of talent management variables to employee performance and employee retention is able to mediate positively and significantly the relationship of work motivation variables to employee performance.

Abstract

The current condition of the Indonesian economy is far different from that of the economy ten years ago. One of the differences in the structure and construction of the Indonesian economy compared to 10 years ago is the rapid development of the digital economy and the 4.0 industrial revolution. This study examines the relationship between Islamic Leadership and SME Performance with the Mediation of Innovation Work Behavior and Financial Technology in the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community. This type of research uses an explanatory research method. All members of the Indonesian Muslim Entrepreneurs Community, with a sample of 100 entrepreneurs, were among the population in this report. The research method used is the Smart-PLS method. The findings of this study demonstrate that through the mediation of innovative work behavior, Islamic leadership impacts SME performance. So it is hoped that Muslim entrepreneurs can improve this innovative behavior with broader insights and an open attitude to change. It is expected that further research will expand the discussion by adding other variables that have not been studied in this study and also bring up research novelty.

Abstract

This research highlights an important focus on the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in the tofu and tempe industry in Kupang City. The aim of this study is to understand how this industry applies CSR strategies while considering two crucial aspects: environmental sustainability and community welfare. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores how business actors manage their production impacts on the environment while striving to provide social benefits to workers and surrounding communities. This was conducted through interviews and direct observations at tofu and tempeh factory locations. The methods used included preparing a series of questions and conducting on-site visits to observe the conditions. The results indicate that most tofu and tempeh businesses in Kupang City are still in the early stages of implementing CSR strategies. Additionally, this study identifies several challenges faced, such as budget limitations, lack of stringent regulations, and low awareness of the importance of worker welfare in this industry
