Abstract

Lumban Pea Timur is one of the villages in Balige District, Toba Samosir Regency, North Sumatra Province. Village development is currently inseparable from the support of information technology, almost every village requires information technology to improve services to the community. The process of conveying information by the village to the resident, namely from the sub-district head to the village head reaches the resident. Processes like this often lead to inaccurate information. All existing regional potentials must be disseminated to show their superiority. Each district has an area called a sub-district and village. The rapid development of the world of communication technology has had a tremendous impact on the pattern of people’s lives. Information systems have made people’s lives dynamic and fast. With the facilities provided, encourages people to take advantage of information and communication technology to assist in their daily activities. The village government of Lumban Pea does not yet have a website address. This has resulted in information owned by the village that cannot be accessed by the wider community, causing this village to be very left behind. In this increasingly advanced technological era, a website-based information system can be implemented in East Lumban Pea village to overcome the above constraints. With the existence of a village information system, the community can directly access the various kinds of information presented. Likewise, village leaders can directly provide or update information related to the village they are fostering. All forms of information regarding population management can be accessed on the village information system page.

Abstract

The learning and teaching process is an important activity to achieve learning objectives. However, in practice it often happens that the process does not run as it should. One important component in the learning and teaching process is attendance. The discipline of student attendance shows that they have a good interest in their studies and needs to be recorded so that attendance data is stored and presented properly. Manual attendance recording is a problem of effectiveness and efficiency. This research proposes a system for monitoring student attendance using mobile applications. The results of the study show that it is easier and faster for students to take attendance and easier for teachers to recap student attendance and also become the basis for decision making when giving final grades.

Abstract

Pandemic has changed the process of education in the world, it leads to a better approach of learning through an online environment. Unfortunately, most educational institutions are still using conventional approaches in their learning system, in fact, information technology has been growing continuously nowaday, especially mobile applications. This paper presents a collaboration between myclassroom application and google drive to improve student learning environment, especially in providing materials, attendance, assignments and grades based on mobile. This study used a design-based research methodology with a waterfall application development process and a questionnaire to collect feedback from one hundred and twenty-one students on the features and content of myclassroom. The myclassroom application was successfully developed using the Model View Controller concept with databases and google drive collaboration. The application testing has confirmed that myclassroom has been successfully developed and works properly. The result shows that the student learning environment has improved by up to 95%.

The convergence of 5G technology and artificial intelligence (AI) has the potential to reshape the landscape of the Internet of Things (IoT), paving the way for innovative applications in smart and con-nected environments. This research paper explores the synergy be-tween 5G and AI in the context of IoT, focusing on the transforma-tive impact on various sectors such as healthcare, industrial auto-mation, and smart cities. Through a comprehensive review of exist-ing literature and empirical analysis, this paper highlights the key challenges, opportunities, and technical advancements that arise when integrating 5G and AI technologies within IoT ecosystems. Abstract

This research introduces a cutting-edge "Voter Data Management Application" tailored for legislative candidates, incorporating the principles of Extreme Programming (XP) to elevate its development and deployment processes. In the dynamic realm of political campaigns, effective voter data management is pivotal for strategizing, targeting, and engaging with constituents. The application embraces XP methodologies to ensure rapid and adaptive development, fostering continuous feedback, collaboration, and responsiveness to evolving campaign dynamics. The XP approach is integrated into the software development life cycle, emphasizing practices such as pair programming, frequent releases, and continuous integration. This not only accelerates the application's time-to-market but also allows for seamless adjustments in response to emerging campaign needs. The iterative nature of XP enhances the adaptability of the Voter Data Management Application, ensuring that it remains aligned with the evolving requirements of legislative campaigns. Key functionalities of the application include efficient data entry for demographic details, voting history, and issue preferences, creating a centralized repository for streamlined access. Advanced analytics tools, developed and refined iteratively, provide dynamic insights into voter behavior, enabling candidates to tailor their messages and outreach strategies. The XP-driven development process also reinforces the application's security measures, ensuring robust protection of sensitive voter information and compliance with privacy regulations. The "Voter Data Management Application" not only serves as a powerful resource for legislative candidates but also displays the benefits of applying Extreme Programming methodologies to political technology. By combining efficient voter data management with agile and collaborative development practices, this application contributes to a more informed and engaged electorate, fostering a democratic process that is responsive to the needs of the constituents.

Abstract

The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has profoundly influenced various sectors, with education emerging as a pivotal area of transformation. The integration of AI into educational systems is redefining teaching methodologies, learning experiences, and administrative efficiencies. However, this intersection of AI and education faces significant challenges, including disparities in access, ethical concerns, and the lack of standardized frameworks for implementation. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a comprehensive AI-powered educational framework designed to personalize learning experiences and scale educational delivery efficiently. The framework incorporates a multi-layered architecture consisting of intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning platforms, and automated assessment tools. These components are designed to leverage AI algorithms such as natural language processing, predictive analytics, and machine learning to analyze student data, identify learning gaps, and deliver customized content. The proposed solution was evaluated through case studies and pilot implementations, demonstrating improved learner engagement, enhanced knowledge retention, and optimized resource utilization. Key findings include a 25% improvement in learning outcomes in personalized environments and increased teacher productivity by automating repetitive tasks. This research contributes to the field by offering a scalable and practical model for integrating AI into educational systems. It highlights ethical considerations, emphasizes the importance of inclusivity, and underscores the need for interdisciplinary collaboration. Finally, the paper presents actionable recommendations, including policy guidelines, strategies for addressing equity challenges, and a roadmap for future research. These recommendations aim to guide educators, technologists, and policymakers in harnessing the full potential of AI to create more equitable and effective learning ecosystems.

Abstract

This community service activity is an implementation of the tridharma of higher education to provide knowledge to students of SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara, especially class XI students majoring in network computer engineering (TKJ). The material provided is router configuration and virtual LAN, this material is useful for participants, because it is one of the topics in the competency exam. This service activity starts from the preparation stage carried out by the team and is carried out on June 20, 2023 in the computer laboratory of SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara. This service activity was carried out in collaboration with the Program Studi D3 Manajemen Informatika dan Komputerisasi Akuntansi with SMK Gelora Jaya Nusantara.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the logic skills of students at SDN 060934 through the application of multimedia-based educational games. By identifying the problems students face in understanding logic concepts, the program is designed to provide an engaging and interactive learning experience. The implementation of activities includes socialization, training, and the use of educational games that have been selected based on student needs. Evaluation results showed a significant improvement in students' logic skills, with the average pre-test score increasing from 65 to 85 in the post-test. In addition, students also reported a more enjoyable learning experience and higher motivation to learn. Although challenges related to technological infrastructure still need to be overcome, this activity proves that educational games can be effectively integrated in the learning process to support the development of critical thinking skills among students. It is recommended that this method be applied more widely in other schools in an effort to improve the quality of education in Indonesia

Abstract

Toko Anarman Store is a toy store that sells various kinds of toys, education, and home decor. This shop still uses a manual system for sales transactions, with the process of selling goods usually still written on notes and then summarized in a sales book. The seller must check each item individually and record the results in a book to determine the number of items in the store. Therefore this web-based Sales Information System is designed to assist the sales process at the store. The purpose of this system is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process. This system includes several important features which include product management, supplier management, and report printing. Product management includes adding, deleting, and updating product data available in the store. Printing includes printing sales reports, stock reports, consumer reports, and supplier reports. This information system is made using the Sublime Text 3 application while the programming language uses PHP, Xampp is used to run the web server, MySQL is used for database management. With this system, it is hoped that Anarman Store can improve operational efficiency and increase customer satisfaction. This system can also help in making better decisions based on accurate sales data.
