Abstract

This research addresses the research problem of leveraging educational data mining techniques to create personalized learning paths for individual students based on their unique learning styles, preferences, and strengths. The study aims to investigate whether tailoring educational experiences using mined data leads to enhanced academic performance, increased engagement, and a more positive learning experience compared to traditional, non-personalized approaches. Methodologically, the research employs data-driven analyses of diverse student datasets, integrating variables such as academic performance, learning preferences, and individual strengths. The study explores the effectiveness of personalized learning paths facilitated by educational data mining in various educational settings. Ethical considerations related to data privacy and responsible use of mined information are also systematically addressed throughout the research. Results from this research contribute valuable insights into the efficacy of personalized learning strategies driven by data mining, offering implications for educational practices and curriculum design. The study provides a comprehensive examination of the benefits and challenges associated with implementing personalized learning paths, and the results have the potential to inform educational institutions, policymakers, and educators on optimizing learning environments.

Abstract

The Lecturer BKD Files Management Application is a system designed to facilitate digital management of Lecturer Tri Dharma (BKD) files. This application aims to simplify the process of recording, archiving and reporting BKD which is often complicated and time consuming if done manually. With features such as file upload, document search, and archive management, this application allows lecturers to easily manage and track various documents related to their BKD. Apart from that, this application also makes it easy for the administration to verify and monitor lecturers' BKD efficiently. The implementation of this system is expected to increase effectiveness and accuracy in BKD management, as well as reduce the administrative burden faced by lecturers and the administration. This research contributes to the academic community by providing a practical tool that enhances the efficiency of BKD management. The application reduces administrative overhead, minimizes errors associated with manual processes, and improves the transparency and accessibility of BKD records. Furthermore, this study offers insights into the challenges and best practices in developing digital solutions for academic administrative tasks, potentially serving as a model for similar initiatives in other educational institutions

Abstract

The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has profoundly influenced various sectors, with education emerging as a pivotal area of transformation. The integration of AI into educational systems is redefining teaching methodologies, learning experiences, and administrative efficiencies. However, this intersection of AI and education faces significant challenges, including disparities in access, ethical concerns, and the lack of standardized frameworks for implementation. To address these challenges, this paper proposes a comprehensive AI-powered educational framework designed to personalize learning experiences and scale educational delivery efficiently. The framework incorporates a multi-layered architecture consisting of intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning platforms, and automated assessment tools. These components are designed to leverage AI algorithms such as natural language processing, predictive analytics, and machine learning to analyze student data, identify learning gaps, and deliver customized content. The proposed solution was evaluated through case studies and pilot implementations, demonstrating improved learner engagement, enhanced knowledge retention, and optimized resource utilization. Key findings include a 25% improvement in learning outcomes in personalized environments and increased teacher productivity by automating repetitive tasks. This research contributes to the field by offering a scalable and practical model for integrating AI into educational systems. It highlights ethical considerations, emphasizes the importance of inclusivity, and underscores the need for interdisciplinary collaboration. Finally, the paper presents actionable recommendations, including policy guidelines, strategies for addressing equity challenges, and a roadmap for future research. These recommendations aim to guide educators, technologists, and policymakers in harnessing the full potential of AI to create more equitable and effective learning ecosystems.

Abstract

In the evolving landscape of digital education, Learning Management Systems (LMS) have become pivotal in managing student engagement and academic resources. These platforms not only facilitate course delivery but also log extensive behavioral data, including attendance rates, quiz performances, LMS usage time, and forum activities. Leveraging this data, educators and institutions can enhance academic outcomes through predictive analytics. This study investigates the use of Random Forest Regression, a machine learning technique, to predict student final grades based on LMS behavioral data. A synthetic dataset comprising 100 student records was used, each containing features that reflect engagement and performance. The data underwent standard preprocessing procedures including normalization and partitioning into training and testing sets. The Random Forest model was trained and evaluated using Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) as performance metrics. The model achieved a MAE of 4.57 and RMSE of 5.90, indicating a high level of predictive accuracy. Feature importance analysis revealed that average quiz score and attendance rate were the most significant predictors, followed by LMS time and forum activity. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of ensemble learning methods in educational settings and support the integration of predictive systems in LMS platforms for real-time academic monitoring. Such systems could provide early alerts for at-risk students and assist educators in designing targeted interventions. This research contributes to the field of Educational Data Mining by validating the practical utility of Random Forest Regression in supporting personalized and data-driven learning strategies.

Abstract

Toko Anarman Store is a toy store that sells various kinds of toys, education, and home decor. This shop still uses a manual system for sales transactions, with the process of selling goods usually still written on notes and then summarized in a sales book. The seller must check each item individually and record the results in a book to determine the number of items in the store. Therefore this web-based Sales Information System is designed to assist the sales process at the store. The purpose of this system is to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process. This system includes several important features which include product management, supplier management, and report printing. Product management includes adding, deleting, and updating product data available in the store. Printing includes printing sales reports, stock reports, consumer reports, and supplier reports. This information system is made using the Sublime Text 3 application while the programming language uses PHP, Xampp is used to run the web server, MySQL is used for database management. With this system, it is hoped that Anarman Store can improve operational efficiency and increase customer satisfaction. This system can also help in making better decisions based on accurate sales data.

Abstract

FAMILINTA wholesaler, which is located in Kaban jahe, Karo Regency of North Sumatra province, which provides a variety of cigarettes, and household goods, the process of selling goods is still written in the sales record book, in the process to find out and see the stock of available goods must also check one by one. So that it can make a sales management process slow, besides that several things are obstacles with the manual system, one of which is the large amount of data, thus making it complicated to process a sales data The author proposes, an information system to make an easy sales system, such as knowing the stock of available goods, Facilitating sales transactions, and making sales reports using the web, this system can make it easier for wholesale owners to present the amount of stock of goods, sales transactions and sales reports.

Abstract

Agriculture is an activity carried out by humans to produce food or energy sources to manage their environment. In today's development, information technology has increased rapidly in various fields. As in the field of agriculture, information technology also provides many benefits to the community, especially the Garingging farmer group. The problem that occurs with the Garingging farmer group is that there is no application that helps farmer groups in selling agricultural products without going through intermediaries so that farmers selling agricultural products get unsatisfactory prices. The solution taken to solve this problem is to build a marketplace application design to make it easier for farmer groups to sell their agricultural products using several programming applications. The results of the research that has been carried out and the website that has been built is to help farmer groups sell their agricultural products easily so that farmer groups sell agricultural products not through intermediaries but through sellers and buyers in order to get satisfactory prices for farmers.

Abstract

In this modern era, technological advances are developing rapidly, especially information technology. Information technology really helps people in getting information quickly and easily and makes work easier. Where activities include recording inventory of goods for inventory at the Zending HKBP colportage, making a list of purchases of goods, up to making sales reports and the problems that occur in carrying out inventory records of goods and making a list of purchases of goods is only done manually, while for making purchase and sales reports only relying on the existing application, namely Ms.Excel, but all of these recording processes often go wrong, require a long time and inaccurate data in making reports, so that reports are submitted late to the head of the HKBP Zending Bureau. So that in making a web requires collaboration between the above programs. This book ordering information system can make it easier for consumers or buyers to search books according to the category / type of book and make online purchases. With this web-based book ordering information website running on the internet network to make it easier for consumers without being limited by time, distance and weather.

Abstract

Tempat penitipan anak dikalangan orangtua sangat dibutuhkan untuk menitipkan anaknya ketika tidak sempat mengasuh sendiri, salah satu tempat penitipan anak adalah Hoshiko Daycare and Playhouse yang berada di kota Binjai. Tempat tersebut masih melakukan pendaftaran dan pencatatan laporan keuangan secara manual, dimana akan berpotensi kehilangan data dan perlu memakan waktu lama dalam setiap prosesnya. Oleh karena itu dibutuhkan sebuah sistem yang dapat membantu proses tersebut yaitu sistem informasi pendaftaran dan laporan keuangan berbasis web. Tujuan dari pembuatan sistem tersebut adalah untuk memudahkan pihak owner dan customer baik dalam proses pendaftaran maupun laporan keuangan, serta penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dimana penulis melakukan observasi, wawancara dan pengumpulan data. Dengan itu penulis melakukan “Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pendaftaran dan Laporan Keuangan Pada Hoshiko Daycare and Playhouse Binjai”.

Abstract

Toko Simarmata is a business engaged in the business of selling daily necessities. The store has quite a lot of customers who come to buy various kinds of needs ranging from snacks, drinks and household supplies. However, the store is in the process of processing its transactions, such as the preparation of goods data which includes prices, and all sales transactions are still manually recorded in the book. This often causes problems such as the loss of sales data which causes re-recording so that the resulting report is not perfect. Therefore, a web programming system is needed which has the aim of making it easier for Simarmata Shop owners to solve the problems that occur, such as storing data on goods sales transactions, knowing sales reports that occur within a certain time frame, consumers who can order the desired items through the website and payments that can be made non-cash without the need to come directly to the store. The design of this Information System is of course based on using direct observation methods and interviews with shop owners. So as to produce a Sales Information System at a web-based Simarmata Store that suits the needs of the store.
