Abstract

Krisis ekologi merupakan kehancuran lingkungan akibat eksploitasi alam. Sebagai satu dari masalah global, krisis ekologi lahir sebagai tindakan dosa ekologis yang dilakukan manusia. Tanpa pertobatan ekologis, kerusakan alam akan merajalela dan bumi tidak layak huni. Melalui studi literatur, penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengeksplorasi peran pendidikan dalam krisis ekologi. Hasilnya adalah 1) krisis ekologi mewajibkan pertobatan ekologi, 2) pertobatan ekologi adalah kesadaran ekologis yang mengandung unsur: kesetaraan, unitas, saling terkait, dan utuh; 3) inklusif merupakan karakter pertobatan ekologis yang berdimensi spiritual; 4) pendidikan religius menjadi metode pengembangan karakter inklusif ekologis bagi generasi muda.

Abstract

The diversity of society is the wealth of a nation, but it can also be a source of social conflict. Value education becomes a strategy for developing inclusive character. Educational research indicates the urgency of inclusive values and character as a strategy for addressing exclusive values in religious-based social conflicts. To explore scientific research on inclusive values, a systematic literature review was conducted as a research methodology. The SLR focused on seven questions, including research, publication trends, publication patterns, backgrounds, institutional involvement, methods, and implications of inclusive values for education. The research results highlighted the problems in this field and provided three important recommendations for the development of inclusive values and character as a strategy for education in religious-based social conflicts. These recommendations can be used as a reference in building an inclusive, tolerant, and peaceful society.

Abstract

Spiritual intelligence is the soul of national education.  Forgetting this creates a gap between ideals and the reality of education.  Without mapping, educational understanding can be fragmented so that education is only seen partially.  The academic challenge is how to map the education, character, and context of the digital age as well as the threat of disintegration of the nation can be done. Using the method of literature review with descriptive analytics, this research reveals the essence of education as character formation. At the end of the study, the answer was presented with three things: character education is a vision of national education, continuing education as the times becomes the general mission of national education, and adaptive implementation supports the development of the nation's character.

Abstract

Education has been developed in the western part as well as in the eastern part of the world, although each might have brought forth quite different methods and values. Education also has evolved in Indonesia since long before the contemporary systems. Sewaka Darma, an ancient Sundanese text, contains a particular model of education by way of teaching the wisdom of life. This text inspires further discussion on how education has been understood long time ago in its particular Sundanese context. Sewaka Darma is a kind of textbook for teaching that contains discourses between a teacher and his or her student. The teacher presents the teachings in a form of kawih (advice). By implementing a narrative model, the teacher conveys philosophy of life, the way of perfection, and moksha. The core of these teachings could be summarized: (a) that life is about suffering, being mortal, and a temporary condition, and (b) that life moves towards the perfection in moksha. On the level of practical everydayness, in order to gain perfection human strives to be a knowing and integral person. Sewaka Darma shows particular educational elements, that is, (a) virtue teachings for the sake of finding the basis of life through a spiritual outlook and (b) virtue advices that insinuate a learning methodology: on the wholeness and integrity of the self, on the character education by way of nyantrik (to be a follower in order to learn) method, on teachers as the role-model, and on the educational community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai dalam Sanghyang Siksakandang Karesian (SSK) ke dalam pendidikan agama Katolik, dengan fokus pada pengembangan karakter siswa. SSK, sebagai naskah moralitas Sunda, menawarkan pedoman hidup yang mengedepankan tanggung jawab sosial dan etika moral. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis mendalam terhadap tiga bagian utama SSK: Dasa Kreta, Dasa Prebakti, dan karma ning hulun. Penelitian juga menelisik korelasi antara ajaran moral dalam SSK dan ajaran Katolik untuk menarik implementasinya dalam konteks pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kesamaan signifikan antara ajaran moral dalam SSK dan prinsip-prinsip ajaran Katolik, terutama dalam hal tanggung jawab individu dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai ini dalam kurikulum pendidikan agama Katolik dapat mendorong siswa untuk lebih aktif berkontribusi dalam masyarakat, serta mengembangkan rasa empati dan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sosial mereka. Signifikansi dari penelitian ini terletak pada kontribusinya terhadap pengembangan pendidikan agama yang relevan dengan konteks budaya lokal. Dengan memasukkan kearifan lokal, pendidikan agama Katolik tidak hanya menjadi proses transfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga pembentukan karakter yang berintegritas dan peduli terhadap kesejahteraan sosial. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dasar bagi pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan agama yang lebih holistik dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji nilai-nilai dan implementasi pendidikan berbasis Pancasila dalam menghadapi masalah korupsi di Indonesia. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif-reflektif, penelitian ini menganalisis profil kepemimpinan berbasis Pancasila sebagai upaya untuk membangun pemimpin yang berintegritas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan karakter berbasis nilai Pancasila, seperti integritas, etika, dan anti-korupsi, harus ditanamkan secara mendalam dalam sistem pendidikan untuk menghasilkan pemimpin dan masyarakat yang berkualitas dan terhindar dari korupsi. Implementasi pendidikan anti-korupsi yang telah dilakukan di Indonesia juga menjadi fokus penelitian ini, sebagai langkah nyata dalam menangani masalah korupsi dan membangun kepemimpinan yang berlandaskan Pancasila.

Abstract

Culture and society are two fields of one currency. Both carry inseparable reciprocal consequences. Society produces culture and culture is able to shape society. the character of society determines the culture, but also vice versa, the development of culture will be able to shape the character of the community. Bushido has laid the foundation for the character of Japanese society. These characters are embedded in and shape the younger generation of Japan. This research aims to explore Bushido as a shape for the nation's character with the aim of finding analysis of the model for the development of national character. For that purpose, a library research model is an option in this initial research. The results of this study suggest the cultural side and alternative role models in the development of national character.

Abstract

This study delves into the motivation and future orientation of prospective religious teachers in Indonesia, exploring the factors that influence their decision to choose an educational path as spiritual educators. The focus of the research was to understand the factors that influenced their decision in choosing education as a religious teacher. Through a qualitative approach with the phenomenological interview method, data was obtained from respondents who revealed that their main motivation was the desire to make a positive impact on students' spiritual lives. Religious values such as love, service, and moral responsibility are the main drivers in choosing this profession. Personal experience related to religious practices and involvement in faith communities also contribute significantly to their motivation. The future picture of the respondents shows the aspiration to be educators with integrity and agents of change in the community. This research suggests the need to develop spiritually-based career programs for prospective religious teachers, which can assist them in their future roles as leaders and servants in the context of value-based education. These findings are expected to provide in-depth insights for the study of education and student character development in the context of religious education.

Abstract

Peradaban menuntut penyesuaian karakter generasi bangsa. Dunia digital dalam revolusi industri 4.0 di abad 21 menuntut kompetensi yang relevan. Hoax dan relativitas kebenaran menjadi tantangan bangsa sebab rupanya mampu menghadirkan potensi disintegrasi masyarakat atau bangsa. Dengan metode literatur review, penelitian ini melakukan studi awal tentang fenomena digital dalam kaitannya dengan karakter kebangsaan. Kesadaran digital merupakan karakter khas abad 21 dengan mengedepankan kesadaran kritis dan kompetensi literasi data, teknologi, dan humanitas. Hasil yang ditawarkan adalah bahwa kesadaran digital mampu mengembangkan karakter kebangsaan dalam dunia digital di abad 21. Kata Kunci: Digital, Karakter, kebangsaan, abad 21
