Abstract

HOTS atau Higher-Order Thinking Skills (keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi) memainkan peranan penting dalam meningkat kemampuan berpikir siswa. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara instruksi tugas yang termuat dalam buku ajar Bahasa Arab MA kelas X yang diterbitkan oleh Kementerian Agama dengan indikator HOTS. Peneliti menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mendeskripsikan isi HOTS pada instruksi tugas dalam buku ajar dan menggunakan teknik membaca dan kutipan untuk memperoleh data. Selanjutnya, peneliti menggunakan statistik deskriptif untuk menghitung proporsi pengajaran berdasarkan Revised Bloom Taxonomy yang dikembangkan oleh Anderson dan Krathwohl, yaitu menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan mencipta. Para peneliti menemukan bahwa buku teks berisi 78 instruksi tugas. Terdapat 32 instruksi yang mewakili kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Instruksi mencipta mendominasi kategori keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dengan 24 instruksi (31%). Kategori keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang paling dominan kedua adalah menganalisis dengan enam instruksi (8%). Terakhir, kategori keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi ketiga adalah mengevaluasi dengan dua instruksi (3%).

Abstract

This research is aimed to find the teachers‘ strategies in educating the student’s moral in primary school. The research used a qualitative method with the case study approach. The research data source was gotten by doing the interview, using a set interview protocol with fifteen respondents-the teacher of Islamic education, Quran teacher and the students. The data was analyzed thematically by using the software qualitative Nvivo 12. Overall, the results of the research got five themes relate to the teachers‘strategies in educating morals, such as:  Conducting weekly lectures, Set a good example at the school, Giving advice to the students individually, Teach the moral lesson at the school, and Giving a warning and punishment to the students that doing the bad thing. All of those strategies was done by the teachers based on the result of this research. It can be a reference to others in educating students‘moral.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems of elementary school-level students in memorizing the Qur’an. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach, research data was taken through direct interviews with ten informants (principals, teachers, and students). All results of interviews and observations were then analyzed thematically with Miles and Huberman’s qualitative data analysis. Overall the results of the analysis showed that there were five problems of elementary school level students in memorizing the Qur’an including: i) lack of time to memorize, ii) lack of ability to read the Qur’an, iii) boredom in memorizing the Qur’an, iv) lack of encouragement from parents in memorizing the Qur’an, v) the influence of online games. The results of this study can be used as initial data for future researchers in examining different issues related to this problem and various other issues relevant to this context.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the application of the Index Card Match method in Islamic learning in high schools, to find out the learning outcomes of students using the Index Card Match method in high school jurisprudence learning. This research was a quasi-experimental design with a Randomized Control Group Only Design, the research subjects used were students at Senior High School as the experimental class and High School students as the control class. The instrument for the affective domain is an observation sheet and for the cognitive domain is an objective question. Final data analysis in this study used the normality test, homogeneity test and t-test. Based on the research results, the average student learning outcomes for the cognitive domain of the experimental class were 76.4 and for the control class 69.05. Meanwhile, for the affective domain, the average student attitude/value results for the experimental class were 80.7875 and for the control class 67.9275. Data obtained tcount >ttable, until H0 rejected and H1 accepted. Thus, the learning outcomes of students using the Index Card Match method are higher than the learning outcomes using conventional learning in high schools
