Abstract

The Simalungun tribe is one of the Batak tribes in the Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. The Simalungun tribe is located between two cultures, namely the Toba Batak tribe and the Karo Batak tribe. Because the area of residence of the Simalungun Batak tribe is between the territories of the two Batak tribes, the Simalungun language is almost similar to the Toba and Karo languages. The Simalungun people's livelihood system is farming rice and corn, because rice is the daily staple food and corn is an additional food if the rice yield is insufficient. Buying and selling is carried out by bartering, the language used is the dialect. "Marga" holds an important role in matters of Simalungun custom. When compared to the Simalungun situation with other Batak tribes, it is much different. Simalungun has diverse language and culture and deserves to be preserved, through this article it will be written about what efforts we should make to maintain and preserve Simalungun culture in this digitalization era.

Abstract

Character is inherent in every individual which is reflected in behavior patterns in everyday life. A person's character is influenced by environmental factors (nurture) and innate factors (nature). This character education aims to develop a person's ability to make good and bad decisions, maintain what is good, and realize that goodness in everyday life wholeheartedly. Where at this time the condition of the Indonesian nation is experiencing a decline in character. We realize that if this demoralization is not corrected immediately, this nation that we love will be on the brink of collapse. Therefore character education is a habit, so the formation of one's character requires communities of character. The role of schools as communities of character in character education is very important. Schools develop character education processes through learning processes, habituation, extracurricular activities, and working with families and communities in their development.

Abstract

The method used in this study is a qualitative research method carried out by means of literature studies or library research that examines relevant theories.Learning in elementary schools in this study uses integrated thematic learning. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher creativity in integrated thematic learning on increasing students' learning interest in elementary schools. The results of this study indicate that integrated thematic learning greatly influences student learning interest, because thematic learning aims to increase students' understanding of concepts meaningfully. In this thematic learning students are required to be more active and think critically as well as in the student centered learning process. For this reason, teachers must be creative in implementing integrated thematic learning in order to achieve increased student interest in learning

Abstract

Manajemen guru adalah salah satu aspek penting dalam penyelenggaraan     pendidikan, karena manajemen guru adalah faktor strategis yang besar pengaruhnya bagi peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Pelaksanaan manajemen guru di SDN 095205 Parbalokan selama ini belum berjalan secara efektif.  Berdasarkan penelitian pendahuluan diketahui terdapat gejala manajemen guru yang belum efektif, antara lain yang menonjol adalah dalam hal perencanaan, penempatan guru, tenaga guru yang terlalu berlebihan dan peningkatan kesejahteraan guru.  Beranjak dari kondisi tersebu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk   mengetauhui: 1)Bagaimana perencanaan manajemen berbasis profil pelajar Pancasila SDN 095205 Parbaloka;(2)Bagaimana  pelaksanaan manajemen berbasis pelajar Pancasila dalam hal muatan karakter profil pelajar Pancasila tertuang dalam RPP di SDN 095205 Parbalokan(3) Bagaimana pelaksanaan manajemen berbasis profil pelajar Pancasila di SDN 095205 Parbalokan. Berdasar temuan-temuan penelitian dan hasil pembahasannya disimpulkan bahwa profil tenaga guru di SDN 095205 Parbalokan, Kabupeten Simalungun belum menggambarkan keadaan yang kondusif bagi peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Sedangkan pelaksanaan manajemen guru di SDN 095205 Parbalokan, Kabupeten Bengkalis belum sepenuhnya memenuhi kriteria efektivitas fungsi-fungsi manajemen guru. Berdasarkan kesimpulan tersebut, maka perlu dirumuskan sistem manajemen guru yang efektif, juga penataan kelembagaan, sehingga mendukung efektifitas pelaksanaan manajemen dan layanan guru yang akhirnya dapat meningkatkan mutu guru khususnya dan mutu pendidikan umumnya di SDN 095205 Parbalokan, Kabupeten Simalungun.

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mendeskripsikan  yaitu;  1).  Peran  kepala sekolah dalam implementasi nilai pendidikan multikultural di sekolah, 2). Peran guru dalam mengimplementasikan nilai pendidikan multikultural di sekolah, 3). Pentingnya pendidikan multikultural bagi peserta didik di SMK N 2 Panyabungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan sumber data diperoleh dari kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa.  Analisis data yang digunakan  yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/ferivikasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi hingga triangulasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah implementasi nilai pendidikan multikultural dapat dilakukan melalui kegiatan intrakurikuler disekolah dapat dilakukan dengan penguatan materi tentang keberagaman yaitu tentang beragam suku, budaya, agama dan adat  istiadat.  Sementara  dalam  kegiatan  ekstrakurikuler  dapat  dilakukan  dengan kegiatan kemah kebudyaan, karnaval pakaian adat istiadat tiap-tiap daerh yang ada di indonesia dan pendalaman mengenai Bhineka Tunggal Ika dan Pancasila

Abstract

Kegiatan sosialisasi proyek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila bagi peserta didik SMIP Yayasan Universitas Simalungun bertujuan untuk memperkuat karakter dan pemahaman peserta didik tentang arti penting dan kedudukan ideologi negara pancasila dalam kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara. Sosialisasi dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode partisipatif, ceramah, diskusi serta tanyajawab. Kegiatan sosialisasi, dilaksanakan pada bulan Oktober tahun 2023, mengundang 60 orang peserta didik dan 10 orang guru, berlokasi di aula SMIP Yayasan Universitas Simalungun. Melalui kegiatan sosialisasi ini, para peserta didik dan guru diharapkan memahami arti penting pancasila dalam kehidupan bernegara dan bermasyarakat, sehingga dapat mengamalkan dan menghayati nilai-nilai pancasila dalam kehidupannya sehari - hari dan menghindarkan diri dari berbagai gerakan radikalisme, konflik suku, agama, ras antar golongan, disintegrasi dan berbagai gerakan separatisme lainnya yang mengancam keutuhan negara kesatuan republik Indonesia

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila terhadap pembentukan karakter dan moral peserta didik di Sekolah Menengah Pertama.. Pelajar pancasila merupakan perwujudan pelajar Indonesia sebagai pelajar sepanjang hayat yang memiliki kompetensi global dan berperilaku sesuai dengan nilai-nilai pancasila, dengan enam ciri yatu beriman dan bertakwa kepada Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, dan berakhlak mulia, berkebinekaan global, bergotong royong, mandiri, bernalar kritis, dan kreatif. Salah satu kegiatan dari Kurikulum Merdeka ini adalah proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila yang merupakan sebuah program pembelajaran lintas disiplin ilmu yang bertujuan untuk mengamati dan memikirkan solusi terhadap permasalahan yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan penelitian kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber pustaka yang relevan dengan topik penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proyek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dapat memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pembentukan karakter dan moral peserta didik di sekolah menengah pertama. Peserta didik dapat mempelajari tema-tema atau isu penting dan melakukan aksi nyata dalam menjawab isu-isu tersebut sesuai dengan tahapan belajar dan kebutuhannya.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the adaptation of the Toba Batak community in the preservation and maintenance of the Lake Toba environment in Samosir Regency. The occurrence of environmental damage to Lake Toba is due to the behavior of the Toba Batak community influenced by its socio-cultural values towards the Lake Toba environment. To re-maintain the Lake Toba environment, the Toba Batak community must adapt to the changing environment of Lake Toba. The method used in this research is a qualitative research method. With qualitative methods, researchers conducted in-depth interviews with informants, namely the Toba Batak community in Samosir Regency. The informants interviewed in this study were 13 people representing community leaders, religious leaders, government, NGOs, and environmental activists living in Samosir Regency. In addition to conducting in-depth interviews, researchers also carried out participatory observation and literature study. The results show that the occurrence of environmental damage to Lake Toba is due to the behavior of the Toba Batak people who are influenced by maladaptive socio-cultural values to the Lake Toba environment. Efforts taken for the preservation and maintenance of the Lake Toba environment, in addition to repositioning cultural values that are counterproductive to environmental preservation, also develop the cultural values (local wisdom) of the Toba Batak that are adaptive to the Lake Toba environment

Abstract

This study examines the pattern of adaptation and socio-cultural change of Toba Batak migrants in Pematangsiantar City. The territorial mobility of Toba Batak migrants, which is permanent and expansionist, affects their adaptation patterns, socio-cultural changes, and settlements after they become migrants in new areas. The method used to analyze data about the pattern of adaptation and socio-cultural change of the Toba Batak people used descriptive qualitative methods. Through this method, it is hoped that it will be able to answer research problems. The population in this study were all Toba Batak migrants living in Pematangsiantar City. Informants in this study were 12 people consisting of 5 people from Toba Batak traditional leaders and one person for comparison with Simalungun traditional leaders, one person in Angkola, one person for Javanese, one person for Malay, one person for Mining, one person for Karo, and one person for Chinese. . Data were collected through in-depth interviews combined with library data. The results of the interviews were collected, tabulated, analyzed, verified, and displayed to conclude. The results showed that the pattern of adaptation and socio-cultural change experienced by Toba Batak migrants was influenced by the cultural background of Pematangsiantar City, namely Simalungun culture as the host culture, and other cultures that were not dominant. Toba Batak migrants adapt in Pematangsiantar City to local culture but retain most of their socio-cultural values, even though they become migrants and settle in Pematangsiantar City

Abstract

Education is one of the systematic efforts to produce quality future generations. Given the importance of these problems, the professionalism and motivation of educators or teachers need to be examined and paid attention to by educators or teachers. It is not an easy job, even a very heavy job if you have not prepared yourself in advance because there are many challenges from students and from society in general because you socialize on a daily basis. -day. Because as an example or as a model, because it is in the hands of the Educator or the Teacher the success of students and the progress of a country, is in the hands of the Teacher.
