Abstract

Ikan tuna adalah jenis ikan dengan kandungan protein yang tinggi dan lemak yang rendah. Ikan tuna mengandung protein antara 22,6 - 26,2 g/100 g daging. Lemak antara 0,2 - 2,7 g/100 g daging. Di samping itu ikan tuna mengandung mineral, kalsium, fosfor, zat besi dan sodium, vitamin A (retinol), dan vitamin B (thiamin, riboflavin dan niasin). Salah satu pengolahan tradisional ikan tuna adalah pembuatan kerupuk ikan tuna, produk olahan ini sangat digemari oleh masyarakat. Karena memiliki nilai ekonomi, maka produk olahan ini perlu diteliti, untuk mengetahui total kepadatan koloni bakteri, mengetahui jenis-jenis bakteri pada kerupuk ikan tuna dan mengetahui cita rasa kerupuk tuna dengan metode uji organoleptik, yaitu tekstur, aroma, warna dan rasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksporatif, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara langsung pada tempat pengolahan yaitu di Kelurahan Toboko dan Akehuda Kota Ternate. Hasil  penelitian  menunjukan  bahwa jumlah total koloni bakteri tertinggi adalah 3.1 × 103 CFU/gram pada sampel A dan adalah 0.5 × 106 CFU/gram pada sampel A dan B. Hasil indentifikasi bakteri ditemukan 3 (tiga) jenis Microccus, Bacillus, dan Stapylococcus. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil analisis organoleptik adalah; warna 1-9, aroma 6.52-7.79, tekstur 7.63 dan rasa adalah 7.41-8.11.

Abstract

Tilapia is one type of freshwater fish that is very popular with people North Maluku community, and has potential economic value to be developed in North Maluku.The production target for consumption needs is still very far from the target requirement. This research was conducted to evaluate the performance of the hormone ovaprim, fecundity, fertilization rate, hatching rate in tilapia.This study was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD). The results showed that the highest degree of healing was found in treatment C at a dose of 0.6 ml/gr bt (85.19%) then treatment B at a dose of 0.4 ml/gr bt (82.78%) A dose 0.2 ml/grm bt of (77%), and dose D (control) did not occur spawning.From the analysis of variance data showed that treatment C at a dose of 0.6 ml/grm bt gave a very significant effect on the percentage of fertilization of tilapia eggs on the value (F count = 117 > F table 0.01 = 7.59

Abstract

Congo Tetra fish is one of the freshwater ornamental fish species which is in great demand because of its high economic value. Male congo tetra fish have a higher selling value than female fish, because the morphology of their bodies looks more attractive, especially their brighter colors and long fins. Sex reversal technology is one technique that can be used to obtain male monosexual offspring.The hormone 17α-methyltestosterone in male fish can increase spermatogenesis and determine secondary sex markers in male fish through the formation of sexual characteristics in fish morphology and body color. The administration of the hormone 17α-methyltestosterone with the right dose can increase the percentage of male sex of Congo Tetra fish. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the hormone 17α-methyltestosterone with different doses on the percentage of male sex, absolute weight growth, and survival of congo tetra fish, to determine which 17α-methyltestosterone hormone dose had the best effect on the percentage of male sex, growth in absolute weight, and survival in congo tetra fish. This research was conducted at the Regional Technical Service Unit of the Fish Seed Center for Ternate City. The time for conducting the research starts from March to May, 2020. In this study, 4 treatment doses of hormones were used, each treatment was repeated 3 times. The treatments tried were as follows: Treatment A: Dose 2 mg/l, Treatment B: Dose 3 mg/l, Treatment C: Dose 4 mg/l, Treatment D: Dose 0 mg/l (control).The results showed that the hormone 17α-methyl testosterone with different doses had a very significant effect on the male sex percentage of congo tetra fish, but it was not significantly different on the growth in absolute weight and survival of congo tetra fish. The highest average percentage of male sex in congo tetra fish was found in treatment C (dose 4 mg/l) which was 86.6%, the highest average value of growth in absolute weight was found in treatment A (hormone dose 2 mg/l) of 1.083 g, and the highest survival was found in treatment D (control) of 90.473%.

Abstract

Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tujuan yaitu :mengetahui komposisi jenis padang lamun di Pulau Manomadehe Kecamatan Jailolo Selatan, mengetahui pola kekayaan spesies padang lamun di Pulau Manomadehe Kecamatan Jailolo Selatan, mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis, dominasi jenis dan kemerataan jenis padang lamun di Pulau Manomadehe Kecamatan Jailolo Selatan, serta mengetahui relung mikrohabitat jenis padang lamun di Pulau Manomadehe Kecamatan Jailolo Selatan. Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan metode metode ”line transek” yang didasarkan panduan Seagrass-Net Western Pacific Monitoring Methods. Transek terdiri dari 3 buah yang ditempatkan sejajar garis pantai (horizontal) dengan panjang 50 meter. Komposisi jenis lamun yang tumbuh di zona intertidal Pulau Manomadeheyaitu sebanyak 6 jenis yaitu Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, Halophila minor, Cymodocea rotundata, Halodule pinifolio, dan Syringodium isoetifolium. Kekayaan spesies lamun menunjukkan bahwa apabila total luasan area dilipatgandakan menjadi 1800 m2 (72 kuadrat) maka kekayaan jenis lamun tidak akan bertambah jenisnya yaitu tetap 6 jenis.Keanakeragaman jenis lamun baik tergolong sedang dan tidak ada jenis yang mendominasi serta penyebaran tiap jenis sangat merata. Jenis lamun yang mempunyai relung habitat terlebar adalah Enhalus acoroides dan tersempit adalah Holodule pinifilio. Kesaling-lingkupan relung atau tumpah tindih relung mikrohabitat yang cukup besar dilakukan oleh Enhalus acoroides terhadap Holodule pinifolio sebesar. Sedangkan sedikit terjadi pada Thalassia hemprichii terhadap Halodule pinifolio dan Halophila minor terhadap Halodule pinifolio.Kata Kunci : padang lamun, kekayaan spesies, relung mikrohabitat

Abstract

Vocational School 4 Ternate City is one of the Vocational Schools in Kastela Village which has several expertise program concentrations, one of which is Fisheries Agribusiness. The aim of this community service is to provide knowledge and skills to students of SMKN 4 Ternate in making catfish feed as a provision for entrepreneurship in the school environment and after completing school if they are unable to continue higher education. The method used is discussion or lecture as well as understanding the theory of catfish cultivation and catfish feed management, introduction to feed raw materials and tools used as well as the practice of making catfish feed according to the formulation. Participants consisted of students and teachers at SMKN 4 Ternate City as well as students from the Aquaculture study program. Before carrying out community service activities, the fish feed that is made must be based on formulation calculations, for this reason participants are first given an understanding of feed formulation and other theories before carrying out the practice of making feed so that their understanding of feed formulation technology can be used as a reference for making fish feed. independently. The training activity on the Application of Catfish Feed Formulation Technology which was attended by students of SMKN 4 Ternate, teachers and students of the aquaculture study program can be understood easily. Raw materials are available throughout the year and are relatively easy and cheap to obtain. After this training activity is carried out, it is hoped that there will be continuity for other field activities so that it is hoped that students at SMKN 4 Ternate can continue to be involved in practicum activities and student research so that the knowledge and skills gained during the practicum can be applied at school for entrepreneurial activities for vocational school students and for entrepreneurship after graduating.
