Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the meaning of worship that generation z feels in worship. This shows how important it is to respect God in worship, making God the center of worship. The meaning of worship can also be felt when we come to worship with the aim of establishing a relationship with God and others. The method used in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach with 10 research subjects selected to collect data in the field. The results of the research show that Generation Z experiences a lack of meaning in worship and respect in worship when taking photos during worship activities, because it interferes with concentration when listening to God's word and during worship activities. Some opinions from generation Z say that the meaning of worship that they feel when taking photos of their worship activities is not reduced because they only take photos and concentrate again on attending the worship service, because they upload the photos after returning from worship. The purpose of generation z uploading photos of their worship activities on social media is to inform their social media friends that they are attending worship and also as one of generation z's discourses to remind and invite their social media friends to come to worship.

Abstract

Equitable development is a form of justice obtained by villages that in terms of spatial context are indeed less advantaged by the reach of infrastructure and public facilities. This obstacle is certainly not a reason to make villages independent and empower themselves. This study uses qualitative with the aim of exploring data that researchers can obtain while in the field. This research is related to the ability of North Tapanuli Regency to be able to produce independent villages. The PkM activities of the Sociology of Religion study program are a good bridge by inviting competent speakers to be able to socialize the issues of stunting and religious moderation. It is hoped that the Hutatoruan IX community will gain knowledge and be able to apply stunting and religious moderation materials. The short-term target of this PkM is to raise public awareness of stunting prevention and encourage a tolerant attitude towards differences in a multicultural society. The PKM program implemented to socialize stunting education and religious moderation has been implemented quite well. Sitnihuta Village has the opportunity to build multicultural awareness in order to strengthen religious moderation, receiving a positive response from the community, indicated by the many questions asked by the community during the PKM activity discussion session

Abstract

AbstractThis study is a Christological study on the suff ering of Christians based on the phenomenon of the burning and demolishing of churches in Aceh Singkil by using Choan Seng Song’s perspective as a theoretical framework. This study uses a qualitative approach among others by conducting interviews with several key informants to obtain field data related to violence and a collective dark memory. This study aims to understand the presence of God in the context of the suffering of Christians in Aceh Singkil and seeks a solution to transform the collective dark memory in the prototype memory of the crucified Jesus as a crucified society. AbstrakStudi ini merupakan kajian kristologis tentang penderitaan umat Kristen atas fenomena pembakaran dan penghancuran gereja-gereja di Aceh Singkil dengan menggunakan pemikiran Choan Seng Song sebagai kerangka teori. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan melakukan wawancara terhadap beberapa informan kunci untuk mendapatkan data lapangan yang berhubungan dengan kekerasan dan memori kelam kolektif. Studi ini bertujuan untuk memahami kehadiran Allah dalam konteks penderitaan umat Kristen di Aceh Singkil dan berupaya menemukan transformasi memori kelam kolektif dalam ingatan prototipe Yesus yang disalibkan sebagai masyarakat tersalib.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this writing is to promote the commandment of loving others as the theological foundation underlying the praxis of religious moderation. The method used is library research, with a descriptive analysis approach to various reference sources. This research resulted in findings on the importance of living the commandment “love your neighbor as yourself” and making it a lifestyle or lifestyle (daily action). This study confirms that the implementation of religious moderation can begin with a correct theological understanding of moderation, because a correct understanding of the theological basis of religious moderation will encourage moderate behavior. Christianity teaches the law of love which emphasizes the balance of people’s relationships with God and others. Loving God is proven by loving other to the same standard as loving himself. This balance is the basic principle of religious moderation. The teaching of love is also emphasized in the golden rules of love with the principle of solidarity. AbstrakTujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengedepankan perintah mengasihi sesama sebagai landasan teologis yang melandasi praksis moderasi beragama. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan, dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif terhadap berbagai sumber referensi. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan tentang pentingnya menjalankan perintah “mengasihhi sesama seperti diri sendiri” dan menjadikannya sebagai gaya hidup atau lifestyle (tindakan sehari-hari). Kajian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan moderasi beragama dapat dimulai dari pemahaman teologis moderasi beragama dengan benar, sebab pemahaman yang benar terhadap landasan teologis moderasi beragama akan mendorong perilaku moderat. Agama Kristen mengajarkan hukum kasih yang menekankan pada keseimbangan hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan dan sesama. Mencintai Tuhan dibuktikan dengan mencintai sesama sama seperti mencintai diri sendiri. Keseimbangan inilah yang menjadiprinsip dasar moderasi beragama. Ajaran cinta juga ditekankan pada hukum emas dengan prinsip solidaritas.
