Abstract

Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Desain atau rancangan dalam penelitian ini matching only design.  Rancangan ini terdapat kelompok kontrol, kelompok eksperimen dengan adanya perlakuan, adanya pretest-posttest untuk memastikan efektifitas perlakuan yang diberikan. Dua kelas dari sembilan kelas pada lingkup penelitian yang akan dijadikan sampel, satu kelas sebagai kelompok kontrol dan satu kelas sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling dengan melakukan undian secara acak. Hasil uji paired sample t-test dalam kelompok eksperimen menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikanpada variabel dribble bola basket memiliki signifikansi 0,034 dan shooting bola basket memiliki signifikansi 0,029. Dengan demikian, disimpulkan dari penelitian ini bahwa model pembelajaran sirkuit berbasis pendekatan saintifik pada pembelajaran PJOK meningkatkan hasil belajar dribble dan shooting bola basket.

Abstract

Industrial Revolution 4.0, as one of the main paradigms of the modern economy, requires higher education to improve in the face of this trend. Surabaya State University (Unesa) emphasizes the development of human resources (HR) as the main target of internal development in order to deal with industry 4.0. The academic community is encouraged to be sensitive to technology, by increasing intellectual capacity through civilization, training, competition, and / or schools. The study aims to identify the readiness of Unesa in facing challenges of Industry Revolution 4.0. The implication of research is to enrich the education management research about linking strategy between higher education and industry demand. The result of research implies that Unesa has moderate readiness in facing the challenges of Industry Revolution 4.0 by deepening intellectual capacity in the IT field through the improvement of campus facilities and infrastructure, and procurement of new learning technologies. Networking is also becoming a useful strategy in linking HR with the IT world related to Industry 4.0. Such a strategic effort under the prevailing laws and regulations enable Unesa to advance in pioneering the development of industry 4.0 on campus, especially for creating qualified graduates.

Abstract

Learning, which focuses on higher-level thinking skills, can be applied in the physical education curriculum through games and sports, movement education, and outdoor education. This study aims to produce a learning model that effectively improves the physical fitness and critical thinking skills of students. Purposive sampling was used in selecting research sample members in which 308 (M: 153 and F: 155) fifth-grade students participated in this study. Two groups were selected as research subjects divided into small groups for the first stage test (N: 123; M: 56; F: 67; Average age: 10.82) and large groups for the second stage test (N: 185; M: 97; F: 88; Average age: 10.70). Five indicators of critical thinking skills were measured through a critical thinking skills instrument. Meanwhile, the indicators of physical fitness tests include BMI, Sit and Reach, Sit-Up, Trunk Lift, and PACER 20-M. The results showed that physical education, oriented towards peer observation carried out during the learning process, self-assessment carried out by students, and packed in the circuit learning method is proven to improve critical thinking skills and physical fitness.

Abstract

The first covid-19 case was founded in Indonesia on March 2020. Then, Indonesian government then announced the study from home policy a few weeks afterward. The teaching learning activity needs to be conducted by online teaching. This study aimed to evaluate the online teaching process at Physical Education subject. There were 447 physical education teachers were involved in this study. The Physical Education Online Learning Scale (PEOLS) was developed and used as research instrument in this study. The construct validity and reliability of PEOLS are 63.288 % and α = .880. The data were analyzed by independent t-tens and one-way anova based on gender (male/female), school status (public/private), and age groups. The result, there are significant different on age and teaching place. Younger teachers are facing less difficulties in online teaching (sig. >0.05). Furthermore, the teachers who teach in the public area have more beneficial in their teaching process (sig. >0.05). In Conclusion, the online teaching learning activity during covid-19 pandemic were influenced by the teachers’ capability of using internet and the accessibility of online teaching facility.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a learning material for adaptive physical education with Problem-Based-Learning model applied to down syndrome students in the school for special need to teach motor capability and sosial interactiion. This Research and Development will use the ADDIE methods in applying learning tools through two phases. The small trial scale held in one school (3 students), and the large trial scale held in two schools (15 students). Results of smallscale trial: from the learning process got  83,3 % (very good), response from user got 88 %, result of social interaction skills form and motor skills form got 94 % and 92 % (very good). Results from large scale trial: average from the learning process got 89% (very good), average from users respon got 80,5 %, average value of social interaction skills form and motor skills form got 97,5 % and 96,8 % (very good). Based on the results, it concluded that the developed learning tools was already feasible for the down syndrome and it can be employed to teach motor skills and interact socially, and make a positive response from teachers. Hopefully that the product can be useful in the world of education, especially for DS.

Abstract

This study aims to identify online learning conducted by physical education teachers among public senior high schools in Surabaya. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The population in this study are sports teachers at SMA Negeri in Surabaya. Then, the sample was taken with purposive sampling where one school selected one sports teacher only. The data collection is done online and allocated for one month, namely in the month from September 15th to October 10th, 2020. The identification stages include the evaluation of the preparation stage, the evaluation of the implementation stage, the evaluation of the assessment stage, and the evaluation of the post-learning online. The results showed that more than 52% of respondents had designed and developed RPP under the Covid-19 pandemi conditions, 100% of them "agreed" to carry out learning based on the school schedule, and all aspects of learning covering cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects had been implemented.

Abstract

Sedentary behavior and obesity are becoming international concerns. Children spent less time in physical activity and sports due to several reasons. Changing children’s behavior should involve a holistic approach. Furthermore, multiple intelligence could contribute to promoting active children's behavior. This study aimed to evaluate the content of the sports summer camp curriculum which was developed by multiple intelligence theory. Moreover, the effect on children's behavior was observed in the implementation of the curriculum. This research was conducted by a qualitative-quantitative combination research design (mixed method). There were 82 elementary school students (age 9.70 ± 1.18 years old) who participated as a research sample with the approval of their parents. As a result, there were eight intelligence profiles that were implemented into this curriculum. The intelligence was bodily-kinesthetic, linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, visual-spatial, interpersonal, intrapersonal, and naturalist. Furthermore, based on their multiple intelligence profile, bodily-kinesthetic performed excellently in every activity. In addition, there is no significant difference in students’ involvement among multiple intelligence groups during the summer camp (Sig. >0.05). In conclusion, each intelligence was involved in the activity. Furthermore, each multiple intelligence group could involve in every activity.

Abstract

Olahraga tidak hanya mendapat kesehatan melainkan sebuah prestasi yang akan didapatkan sesuai dengan proses. Proses yang dilalui bukan hanya proses latihan namun terdapat peranan dari sendiri maupun orang lain. Peranan orang terdekat yang dapat dirasakan yaitu dari peran orang tua. Peran dari orang tua pun juga dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai macam cara dengan melakukan perhatian, motivasi, memberikan fasilitas penunjang kegiatan dan lain sebagainya. Salah satu olahraga yang memiliki penunjang kebutuhan yang membutuhkan banyak biaya yaitu olahraga berkuda. Untuk mendapatkan bagaimana peranan orang tua dan status ekonomi terhadap motivasi mengikuti olahraga berkuda, maka peneliti melakukan penelitian di club berkuda yang berada di naungan Universitas Negeri Surabaya yaitu Pandesa Riding School. Metode pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan cara membagikan kuesioner dan melakukan wawancara pada seluruh stakeholder yang ada mulai dari pihak manajemen, pelatih, orang tua murid dan murid yang ada di Pandesa Riding School. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu pada peranan orang tua yang memiliki persentase tertinggi yaitu indikator dukungan dengan persentase sebesar 93.34%, yang berarti bahwa dukungan dari orang tua memiliki peranan yang besar terhadap motivasi mengikuti olahraga berkuda. Sedangkan status ekonomi yang memiliki persentase tertinggi yaitu indikator besaran gaji dengan persentase sebesar 72.97%, yang berarti bahwa besaran gaji berperan terhadap motivasi mengikuti olahraga berkuda, mengingat biaya yang dikeluarkan apabila mengikutinya membutuhkan biaya yang cukup banyak.

Abstract

Petanque merupakan olahraga yang berkaitan dengan pelemparan boules (bola) dimana seorang pemain harus di dalam lingkaran untuk melempar bola yang sudah disediakan. Permainan petanque mudah dilakukan sehingga dapat mendorong motivasi masyarakat Indonesia untuk melakukan olahraga secara aktif dan teratur. Teknik permaiann ini sangat sederhana tapi mengandalkan kesimbangan yang luar biasa agar presisi dan tepat sasaran pada saat pelemparan. Sayangnya, pengenalan permainan pentaque masih jarang dilakukan mengingat olahraga ini yang tergolong baru sehingga perlu untuk mengenalkan permainan petanque di tingkat provinsi jawa timur. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan wawasan tentang cara bermain olahraga permainan petanque dan mengetahui perkembangannya di lingkungan mahasiswa Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA). Metode yang digunakan adalah sharing pengetahuan melalui kegiatan pendampingan Training of Trainer coaching clinic Petanque di Jawa Timur. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat yang baik bagi pengembangan pengetahuan mahasiswa dan pelatih permainan petanque yang ada di linkungan UNESA, sehingga untuk masa yang akan dating, penting untuk lebih sering mengadakan turnamen mini sebagai aktualisasi dan respon terhadap hasil temuan dalam kegiatan ini. Training of Trainer Coaching Clinic Petanque in East Java Abstract Petanque is a sport related to throwing boules (balls) where a player must be in a circle to throw the ball that has been provided. The petanque game is easy to do so it can motivate the Indonesian people to exercise actively and regularly. The technique of this game is very simple but relies on extraordinary balance for precision and on target when throwing. Unfortunately, the introduction of the game of pentaque is still rarely done considering that this sport is relatively new, so it is necessary to introduce the game of petanque at the provincial level of East Java. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and insight on how to play the petanque game and find out its development in the Surabaya State University (UNESA) student environment. The method used is sharing knowledge through the training of trainer training coaching clinic Petanque in East Java. The evaluation results show that this activity provides good benefits for developing the knowledge of students and petanque game trainers in the UNESA environment, so that for the future, it is important to hold mini tournaments more often as an actualization and response to the findings in this activity.
