Abstract

Digital transformation at the village level is a strategic element in promoting equitable development and improving public service delivery. However, the level of digital readiness across regions remains uneven. This study aims to classify the digital readiness of villages in West Java Province by utilizing data from Open Data Jabar (opendata.jabarprov.go.id) related to the number of digital villages, internet access, and village development strata. A Decision Tree classification algorithm was employed to categorize regions into two readiness classes: high and low. The modeling results indicate that the number of self-reliant (mandiri) villages and the percentage of villages with internet access are the most influential variables in the classification. Although internet infrastructure is available in most areas, it does not always correspond to the level of village digitalization. Districts with high internet access but a low number of self-reliant villages are still classified as having low readiness. The model achieved an accuracy of 83%, although its performance in identifying the high readiness class was limited due to class imbalance in the dataset. Spatial visualization was also used to highlight regional disparities in digital readiness. This study provides an early contribution to digital readiness mapping of villages using a machine learning approach in Indonesia.

Abstract

Pendampingan implementasi kurikulum merdeka (IKM) jalur mandiri pada jenjang PAUD dilaksanakan dengan tujuan agar kepala sekolah dan guru-guru PAUD yang bukan dari sekolah penggerak mampu menyusun KOSP (Kurikulum Operasional Satuan Pendidikan) dan modul ajar berdiferensiasi serta modul projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila (P5) yang sesuai. Untuk membantu sekolah menyusun KOSP, modul ajar, dan modul P5 maka dilaksanakan pendampingan melalui workshop.   Peserta pada kegiatan ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru-guru PAUD di lingkungan kecamatan Lembursitu, Kota Sukabumi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara luring selama dua hari, yang terdiri dari workshop KOSP dan workshop modul ajar berdiferensiasi serta modul P5. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu dalam penyusunan kurikulum operasional, peserta mampu menyusun visi misi yang terukur, sedangkan dalam penyusunan modul peserta mampu menentukan tujuan pembelajaran untuk menyusun alur, asesmen dan memilih media yang sesuai.

Abstract

Pension fund management often faces challenges arising from uncertainties in actuarial variables, such as retirement age, years of service, salary levels, and interest rates. Inaccurate calculations may result in fund deficits or impose excessive contribution burdens on companies. This study aims to identify the optimal method for calculating pension funds to ensure the maximization of pension program benefits. The research employs secondary data from a limited liability company, with documentation as the primary data collection instrument. The data include employees’ dates of birth, dates of registration for work, employment commencement dates, and wage records. The analysis focuses on normal contributions, actuarial liabilities, and fund accumulation using the Accrued Benefit Cost (ABC) and Attained Age Normal (AAN) methods. The results indicate that the AAN method generates higher normal contributions than the ABC method, making it more effective in preventing pension fund deficits. Conversely, the ABC method offers a more evenly distributed cost allocation throughout participants’ working periods. The findings suggest that the differences in results between the two methods are influenced by the length of service and the salary levels of participants.

Abstract

Public health in West Java faces complex challenges, including disparities in healthcare access, malnutrition, and socio-economic inequalities across districts. These conditions require data-driven analysis to identify patterns of disparity and provide evidence-based guidance for policy intervention. This study aims to cluster districts/cities in West Java based on health and social indicators using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) for dimensionality reduction, followed by K-Means and K-Medoids algorithms for clustering. Data from 27 districts/cities during 2019–2024 were analyzed after standardization. PCA extracted two principal components explaining 61.4% of the total variance. Scree plot and silhouette results indicated three optimal clusters. Comparative analysis revealed that the average silhouette score of K-Means was 0.31, while K-Medoids achieved a higher score of 0.34, suggesting more stable and robust partitioning against outliers. In 2024, Cluster 1 consisted of regions with adequate healthcare facilities and lower prevalence of underweight children; Cluster 2 grouped regions with limited health infrastructure and higher malnutrition problems, while Cluster 3 showed intermediate conditions. Therefore, K-Medoids outperformed K-Means by producing more consistent clustering across years. These findings offer practical recommendations: Cluster 2 should be prioritized for interventions such as improving primary healthcare access and nutrition programs, Cluster 1 requires maintenance of service quality, and Cluster 3 should be targeted for gradual reinforcement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis visual berbentuk permainan monopoli pada materi aritmatika sosial terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa SMP kelas VII. Hasil wawancara dengan guru matematika menyatakan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa kurang. Selain itu, kurang adanya minat dan motivasi terhadap pembelajaran matematika. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan merupakan media pembelajaran visual yang berbentuk permainan monopoli. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan atau r&d. Desain pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model addie (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Data validitas media pembelajaran dikumpulkan melalui angket menggunakan lembar validasi. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh tiga validator ahli materi dan media. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis visual yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid dengan skor keseluruhan 4,22. Tetapi media pembelajaran berbasis visual yang dikembangkan harus melalui proses perbaikan untuk menyempurnakan media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan.

Abstract

Abstract: Creativity is one of the important skills that teachers must have today. Creativity can be defined as the human ability to generate new and valuable ideas. In addition, creativity is considered as a basic competency that needs to be possessed by students in higher education. The purpose of this study was to determine the creativity of prospective biology teachers and its relationship with students' knowledge mastery. For this purpose, a descriptive and correlational study was conducted on 13 biology pre-service students. The instrument used in this study was the Torrance creativity test based on 4 creativity indicators: fluency, flexibility, originality and elaboration. Descriptive and correlational analyses were conducted to identify students' creativity profiles and the relationship between students' creativity and their knowledge mastery. The results showed that there were three types of creativity owned by prospective biology teacher students, namely students with low (38.46%), medium (38.46%) and high (23, 07%) levels of creativity. The correlation test results show that concept mastery correlates with student creativity (r=0.3). The conclusion of this study is that prospective biology teacher students have different creativity, and there is a correlation between students' concept mastery and their creativity level so that there needs to be an effort from lecturers by designing learning strategies that can increase student creativity and concept mastery.

Abstract

Biasanya instrument asesmen yang dirancang guru lebih berfokus pada ranah kognitif, khususnya pada aspek pengetahuan dan pemahaman, sehingga kurang menggali kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dengan indikator heuristic Krulik dan Rudnick sebagai alah satu alternatif solusi untuk membantu guru mewujudkan pembelajaran yang mengembangkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model ADDIE. Namun pada artikel ini tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan terbatas hanya sampai tahap ADD (Analysis, Design, dan Development). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi instrumen yang terdiri dari tiga aspek penilaian yaitu penilaian kelayakan isi, penilaian aspek bahasa, dan penilaian kesesuaian butir soal dengan indikator Krulik dan Rudnick yang disajikan dalam 38 pertanyaan. Proses validasi dilakukan oleh lima orang Ahli Pendidikan Matematika menggunakan Teknik delphi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, produk instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis denagn indikator Krulik dan Rudnick, 92% telah memenuhi kriteria penilaian kelayakan isi dan tergolong kategori sangat valid. Pada aspek kelayakan bahasa, 88% kriteria penilaian sudah terpenuhi dan tergolong kategori sangat valid. Pada aspek kesesuaian butir soal dengan indikator Krulik dan Rudnick, 90,20% kriteria penilaian sudah terpenuhi dan tergolong kategori sangat valid. Dengan demikian, secara keseluruhan 90% kriteria penilaian kelayakan instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis Krulik dan Rudnick sudah terpenuhi, tergolong kategori sangat valid, serta layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPendampingan pembelajaran matematika dihadirkan sebagai peningkat motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar sehingga mampu meningkatkan pembelajaran siswa di sekolah. Dalam pendampingan pembelajaran ini yaitu siswa dalam ruang lingkup Panti Asuhan Ummu Salamah yang berada di jenjang SMP dan SMA. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara tatap muka langsung di Jl. Siliwangi, Gang Ridogalih No.16, Cikole Kab.Sukabumi, Kota Sukabumi. Kegiatan pendampingan pembelajaran terdiri dari pendahuluan dengan pre-test kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penyampaian materi. Dalam penyampaian materi dibantu dengan menggunakan alat bantu berupa media pembelajaran yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dan pemahaman siswa dalam pembelajaran. Media pembelajaran yang digunakan pada saat proses pembelajaran yaitu BAGASI (Bangun Ruang Tiga Dimensi) dan PALANG (Papan Ular Tangga Peluang), serta siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk bertanya terkait materi. Hasil dari kegiatan pendampingan pembelajaran matematika ini yaitu motivasi belajar siswa mengalami peningkatan yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya nilai rata-rata pre-test dan post-test baik pada jenjang SMP maupun SMA. Nilai rata-rata sebelum kegiatan atau pre-test pada jenjang SMP adalah 57,56 dan pada jenjang SMA adalah 42,91. Namun setelah kegiatan, nilai rata rata post-test mengalami perkembangan yang cukup signifikan yaitu rata-rata post-test jenjang SMP adalah 74,63 dan jenjang SMA adalah 75,38. Kata kunci: pendampingan pembelajaran matematika; media pembelajaran; motivasi belajar. ABSTRACTMathematics learning assistance is presented as an increase in student motivation in learning. This activity was carried out aiming to increase student motivation in learning so as to improve student learning at school. In this learning assistance, namely students within the scope of the Umm Salamah Orphanage who are at the junior and senior high school levels, this activity is carried out face to face directly on Jl. Siliwangi, Gang Ridogalih No.16, Cikole Kab. Sukabumi, City of Sukabumi. The learning assistance activities consist of an introduction with a pre-test then continued with the delivery of material. In the delivery of material assisted by using tools in the form of learning media which aims to increase student learning motivation and student understanding in learning. The learning media used during the learning process are BAGASI (Build Three Dimensional Spaces) and PALANG (Opportunity Snakes and Ladders Board), and students are given the opportunity to ask questions regarding the material. The result of this mathematics learning assistance activity is that students' learning motivation has increased as indicated by the increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores at both the junior and senior high school levels. The average score before the activity or pre-test at the junior high school level was 57.56 and at the high school level was 42.91. However, after the activity, the average post-test score experienced a significant increase, namely the post-test average for the junior high school level was 74.63 and for the high school level was 75.38. Keywords: mathematics learning assistance; learning media; learning motivation.
