In deciding to carry out MKJP a mother (wife) the form of the husband's support role is needed both mentally and materially (economically) to support it. Objective: The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of husband's support in decision making on the use of Long Term Contraception Methods (MKJP) in Indonesia. Methods: The method used in this study is to use Meta-Analysis by reviewing 24 journals that have been published. Discussion: Through a meta-analysis in this scientific article journal, 24 articles were found that had the topic of husband's support for decision making using MKJP with a p-value of 0.002 < 0.005, so from 24 studies, it was explained that there is a husband's role in decision making and is significant with the magnitude of the effect. size is 0.3063 although it is classified as moderate in influence. Abstract

Background: Menstruation is a normal biological process that happen in the female body. However, not all women have access to menstrual hygiene products. According to previous research, it shows that there is inequality menstrual hygiene management in low- and middle-income countries, including Indonesia. Objectives: This study aims to review the period of poverty or in Indonesia, starting from the causes, impacts, and efforts to overcome it. Methods: The method used in this research was literature review in descriptive form. The data used in the form of secondary data from articles/journals and books collected through the trusted websites such as Science Direct and Google Scholar, and through the university's official website that published in the last 10 years (2011-2021). Results: Based on the articles that have been collected, the results show that poverty, the lack of comprehensive education regarding health management, lack of access to clean water, soap, sanitation products, and the lack of adequate infrastructure make Indonesia and other developing countries still experience period poverty. The impact can be very detrimental such as limitation for going to school during menstruation, reproductive organs disease, and the risk of experiencing sexual harassment. Providing adequate menstrual hygiene management that is accessible to all women and girls is one of the steps to address this problem. Conclusion: Factors affecting period poverty in Indonesia are poverty, the lack of comprehensive education regarding health management, lack of access to clean water, soap, sanitation products, and the lack of adequate infrastructure. The impacts are in the form of limitation for going to school during menstruation, reproductive organs disease, and the risk of experiencing sexual harassment

Abstract

Premarital sexual behavior among adolescents remains a public health concern. However, school programs often focus on risk perception without showing how perceived threat can lead to protection. This study examined the influence of threat appraisal (severity and vulnerability) on the prevention of premarital sexual behavior through response efficacy and self-efficacy as mediators. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 333 high school students selected by multistage sampling. Likert-scale measures assessed severity, vulnerability, response efficacy, and self-efficacy. The model was analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with bootstrapping (α=0.05). Most participants reported no premarital sexual behavior (66.1%). Severity and vulnerability positively predicted response efficacy and self-efficacy, with severity exerting a stronger effect. Response efficacy and self-efficacy were negatively linked to premarital sexual behavior (p<0.05), meaning that higher coping appraisal (the ability to handle risky situations) was associated to lower risk behavior. Indirect effects from severity and vulnerability to behavior through both mediators were significant. The model explained 34% of the variance in premarital sexual behavior. Threat appraisal reduced premarital sexual behavior mostly by improving coping appraisal. Thus, school-based interventions should combine risk communication with the development of refusal, negotiation, and self-confidence skills to support protection.
