Abstract

Background: The use of smartphones by students have positive and negative impacts on the learning process. The ease in obtaining information with smartphones makes students motivated to participate in the learning process in class. Learning achievement is influenced by characteristics that indicate the factors originating from within students, one of which is self-efficacy which refers to self-confidence in the abilities possessed. Methods: The design of this study was observational analytic with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method and obtained a total sample of 118 people. Data analysis used the Spearman trial test. Research Results: The result of Spearman correlation bivariate statistical test obtained that each p-value = 0.024 in smartphone addiction and p-value = 0,000 in self-efficacy.Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between smartphone addiction and self-efficacy with learning achievement of the students in the Medical Faculty, University of Malahayati, class of 2018

Abstract

Social support and motivation to quit  on drugs abuse  among psychosocial rehabilitation clients at National Narcotics Agency (NNA) Background: The problem of illicit and drugs abuse in Indonesia is currently a disadvantage in developing the quality of human resources, especially the younger generation. Its condition has now reached an alarming level. In 2017, the prevalence of the number of drug abusers in Lampang Province reached 1.9%, ranking 3rd out of 10 Provinces in Sumatra and 8th out of 34 Provinces in Indonesia. The biggest factor influencing to users to quit of drugs abuse such as social and family support.Purpose:  To determine the relationship between social support and motivation to quit on drugs abuse among psychosocial rehabilitation clients at National Narcotics AgencyMethods: A quantitative research with cross-sectional approach. The data collection method uses a social support scale consisting of 29 items and the motivation scale of 22 items. Analyzed using the Spearman Rank product moment. The sample was the client of outpatient rehabilitation at National Narcotics Agency and taken by purposive sampling technique and obtained a sample of 200 respondents.Results: Finding of r value of 0.058 with P = 0.408, it means that there is a very significant positive relationship between social support and motivation to quit on drugs abuse among outpatient rehabilitation clients. The most respondents had of 62% of social support and of 55.5% had a motivation to quit on drugs abuse.Conclusion: The social support and motivation to quit on drugs abuse among outpatient rehabilitation clients at National Narcotics Agency Lampang Province was a quite high.Keywords: Social support; Motivation to quit; Drugs abuse; Psychosocial; Rehabilitation; Clients; National Narcotics AgencyPendahuluan : Masalah peredaran gelap dan penyalahgunaan narkoba di Indonesia saat ini sudah menjadi hambatan dalam proses pembangunan kualitas sumber daya manusia khususnya generasi muda. Perkembangannya saat ini sudah mencapai tingkat yang mengkhawatirkan serta meresahkan khususnya para orang tua dan masyarakat pada umumnya. Tahun 2017 prevalensi jumlah penyalahguna Narkoba di Provinsi Lampung mencapai angka 1,9 % menempati urutan ke-3 dari 10 Provinsi di Sumatera dan   urutan   ke-8   dari   34   Provinsi   di   Indonesia. Faktor   terbesar   yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan pengguna narkoba untuk berhenti menggunakan narkoba adalah  keluarga  berbentuk  dukungan  sosial,  dukungan  sosial  dalam  hal  ini  adalah dukungan dari orangtua dan keluarga. Dukungan ini akan membantu pengguna narkoba untuk benar-benar dapat berhenti menggunakan narkoba dan meninggalkan pergaulan lamanya.Tujuan : Diketahui hubungan antara dukungan  sosial  dengan motivasi  berhenti  menggunakan  narkoba  klien  rehab  rawat  jalan  di  BNN  Provinsi Lampung.Metode : Penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala dukungan sosial yang terdiri dari 29 item dan skala motivasi 22 item. Dianalisa menggunakan product moment Spearman Rank. Sampelnya klien rawat jalan Badan Narkotika Nasional dan diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 200 responden.Hasil : Diperoleh hasil nilai r sebesar 0,058 dengan p = 0,408 dimana artinya ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi berhenti menggunakan narkoba pada klien rehab rawat jalan BNN Provinsi Lampung. Berdasarkan kategorisasi tingkat dukungan sosial mayoritas tinggi dan sangat tinggi dengan total jumlah dari kedua kategori tersebut sebanyak 124 (62%).  Untuk tingkat motivasi berhenti menggunakan narkoba mayoritas berada pada kategori  sedang dan tinggi dengan jumlah sebanyak 111 responden dengan persentase 55.5%.Simpulan: Dukungan dan motivasi sosial untuk berhenti dari penyalahgunaan NAPZA pada klien rehabilitasi rawat jalan di Badan Narkotika Nasional Provinsi Lampang cukup tinggi.

Abstract

SELF-EFFICACY IN A PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCY TEST AMONG MEDICAL STUDENTSBackground: To have competence as a doctor, the medical student have to pass examination a Professional Competency Test to obtain doctoral diplomas from educational institutions and competency certificates from institutions that authorized. The data obtained based on passing student examination a Professional Competency Test at Malahayati University showed an average number of 48.75%. Many factors can influence the success of student learning in students, one of which is the efficacy of self efficacy. Individuals who have high self efficacy will direct someone to better achievement in various fields.Purpose: This study aims to examine the relationship between self efficacy with passing number student examination a Professional Competency Test at Malahayati University.Methods: The variable in this study is self-efficacy as an independent variable and passing number student examination a Professional Competency Test as a dependent variable. The research sample in this study were medical profession students who passed examination a Professional Competency Tes. The method of collecting data was using the scale self efficacy and a Professional Competency Tes document. Data analysis method uses product moment.Results: The value are r 0.673 with p = 0,000 where (p <0.01) means that there is a very significant positive relationship between self efficacy and passed student examination a Professional Competency Test at Malahayati University, Bandar Lampung.Keywords: Self Efficacy, student, examination, Professional Competency TestPendahuluan: Mahasiswa dikatakan memiliki kompetensi sebagai seorang dokter jika telah menuntaskan Uji Kompetensi Mahasiswa Program Profesi Dokter (UKMPPD) untuk memperoleh ijazah dokter dari institusi pendidikan dan sertifikat kompetensi dari institusi yang berwenang. Data yang diperoleh berdasarkan tingkat ketidaklulusan UKMPPD mahasiswa program profesi dokter Universitas Malahayati menunjukkan angka rata-rata sebesar 48,75%. Banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan belajar mahasiswa pada mahasiswa, salah satunya adalah self efficacy.Self efficacy. Individu yang memiliki self efficacy yang tinggi akan mengarahkan seseorang pada prestasi yang lebih baik dalam berbagai bidang.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara self efficacy (keyakinan akan kemampuan diri) dengan kelulusan retaker UKMPPD di Universitas Malahayati.Metode: Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah self efficacy sebagai variabel bebas dan kelulusan retaker UKMPPD. Sampel penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa profesi dokter yang menjadi retaker pertama pada ujian UKMPPD.Metode Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan skala self efficacy dan dokumen kelulusan UKMPPD. Metode analisis data menggunakan product moment. Hasil: Nilai r sebesar 0,673 dengan P = 0,000 dimana ( p < 0,01 ) artinya ada hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara self efficacy dengan kelulusan retaker UKMPPD Universitas Malahayati Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

Perilaku bullying di sekolah saat ini menjadi marak terjadi di berbagai negara termasuk di Indonesia. Secara umum, penyebab utama perilaku tersebut, yakni: tuntutan orangtua terkait nilai akademik siswa di sekolah, hubungan siswa dengan teman-temannya, gaya pengasuhan  yang keliru, dan masalah malnutrisi. Pelaku bullying ini memiliki dampak terhadap korban, meningkatkan gejala-gejala emosional, pelaku awalnya merasa tidak bahagia, tertekan dan sangat sedih, depresi yang semakin sering dirasakan oleh pelaku bullying maka semakin tinggi tingkat depresinya, rendahnya harga diri, meningkatkan stres. Selain itu, pengalaman pelaku bullying di sekolah juga memiliki dampak terhadap performansi siswa di sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Tingkat Stres dengan Munculnya Perilaku Bullying pada Siswa SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung Tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian observasional dengan metode kuantitatif dan desain penelitian pendekatan cross sectional. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 176 dari 243 orang siswa kelas XI di SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung. Dari 176 responden yang diteliti, didapat kategori usia yang terbanyak adalah responden yang berusia 16 tahun, yaitu sebanyak 127 responden (72,2%), sementara itu untuk karakteristik responden berdasarkan jenis kelamin, lebih banyak siswa berjenis kelamin perempuan, yaitu berjumlah 97 responden (55,1%). Jika dilihat dari distribusi frekuensi tingkat bullying siswa, yang berada pada kategori tingkat bullying rendah yaitu, sebanyak 118 responden (67,1%), selanjutnya untuk distribusi frekuensi tingkat stres siswa, didapatkan hasil sebanyak 127 responden (72,2%) yang berada pada kondisi tingkat stres yang sangat berat. Tidak terdapat Hubungan antara Tingkat Stres dengan Munculnya Perilaku Bullying pada Siswa SMA Al-Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung Tahun 2019 dengan nilai p-value 0,521 (p-value > 0,05).

Abstract

Child development‘s delay in Indonesia based on the Indonesia Ministry of Health was 16% of a total toddler in Indonesia. The various factors affecting the child’s development, such as the stimulation of the educative game instrument (EGI). Increase of the use of EGI in other countries proportional to the child’s development aspect but not in Indonesia. To know the overview of the motor development level of preschool-aged children towards the educative game instrument at Dian Cipta Cendekia (DCC) Global School Kindergarten 2019. A descriptive quantitative study by using an observational approach was performed. The data were collected using a review of the school report, the use of the EGI, and the ability to follow the commands based on Denver II categories. This research was done during November 2019. There were six samples from class b taken using a total sampling method. 1 of 6 children failed by following 1 of 12 activities based on Denver II. One of them couldn’t use the climbing frames properly, and based on the school report, 1 of 6 children stated as not developing yet by knowing the traffic sign. The level of using EGI proportional to the child’s development aspect. The frequency distribution of the use of EGI shown 91,7% good. An overview of motor development level based on school report shown 54,2% normal development and 100% normal by Denver II.

Abstract

In the hospital industry, the performance of nurses is very important in the success in the hospital. It is necessary for the workforce to be able to work optimally and the role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). OCB is a behavior of an employee that is not formally regulated and can improve the performance of the organization. Some of the factors that affect OCB are organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Therefore, this study aims to find out the relationship of organizational commitment and job satisfaction with OCB. Data collection in this study used OCB scale, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction. Sampling using total sampling, with a sample number of 100 nurses at the public hospital Wisma Rini Pringsewu. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 22.0 for windows. The results showed that Deviation From Linearity between OCB and Organizational Commitment of 0.707 and between OCB and Job Satisfaction of 0.602, where the value of each variable is p>0.05s so that it indicates there is a linear relationship, and can be continued with hypothetical tests. It is known that the first hypothesis is that the relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction is positively correlated with ocb variables with the significance of p<0.01 and p<0.05 received. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between organizational commitment and job satisfaction with Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB)

Abstract

AbstrakResiliensi merupakan proses menyesuaikan diri yang dialami oleh individu baik dalam situasi yang tidak menyenangkan seperti petaka, ataupun peristiwa lain yang kemungkinan menyebabkan tekanan psikologis. Kemampuan ini penting dimiliki bagi mahasiswa terutama mahasiswa perantau untuk dapat menyesuaikan diri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan harga diri dengan resiliensi pada mahasiswa perantau. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan alat ukur skala dukungan sosial, skala harga diri dan skala resiliensi. Sampel pada penelitian ini mahasiswa perantau Program Studi Kedokteran Universitas Malahayati angkatan 2019 berjumlah 90 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode analisis regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan antara dukungan sosial dan harga diri dengan resiliensi, dimana variabel harga diri memiliki pengaruh lebih besar dibandingkan dengan variabel dukungan sosial. Perlu dilakukan upaya meningkatkan harga diri dengan melakukan refleksi diri. Selain itu, perguruan tinggi dapat melakukan kegiatan pelatihan peningkatan harga diri untuk lebih meningkatkan resiliensi mahasiswa perantau. Kata kunci: Dukungan Sosial, Mahasiswa Perantau, Resiliensi, Self Esteem AbstractResilience is a process of adjustment that is experienced by individuals both in unpleasant situations such as disasters, or other events that are likely to cause psychological distress. This ability is impotartant in college students especially overseas students to improve adaptation. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and self-esteem with resilience in overseas students. This type of quantitative research uses social support scales, self-esteem scales and resilience scales. The sample in this study was 90 overseas students from the Malahayati University Medical Study Program batch of 2019. The data were analyzed using the regression analysis method. The results obtained show that there is a relationship between social support and self-esteem with resilience, where the self-esteem variable has a greater influence than the social support variable. Efforts need to be made to increase self-esteem by doing self-reflection. Moreover, universities may carry out training activities to increase self-esteem to further increase the resilience of overseas students. Keywords: Social Support, Overseas Student, Resilience, Self Esteem

Abstract

Kematangan karier perlu dimiliki oleh setiap individu khususnya siswa SMA. Kematangan karier berkaitan dengan kesiapan dalam proses mencapai karier dan cita-cita di masa depan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsep diri dan jenis kelamin terhadap kematangan karier pada siswa SMAN X Bandar Lampung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang dilakukan pada 169 siswa kelas X, XI, dan XII dengan teknik accidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan Skala Kematangan Karier dan Skala Konsep Diri, serta data demografi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara konsep diri dan jenis kelamin terhadap kematangan karier dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,341, terdapat pengaruh positif yang signifikan antara konsep diri terhadap kematangan karier dengan nilai koefisien sebesar 0,570, dan tidak terdapat perbedaan antara jenis kelamin dengan kematangan karier dengan nilai koefisien 0,087.

Abstract

Background: The development of internet technology, including in Indonesia, is very rapid. One of the fastest-growing internet technologies is online gaming. Basically, students playing online games are only limited to entertainment for relieving tired after daily learning activities. Playing online games with high intensity can cause addiction or dependency continuously which will later influence the level of student concentration of learning. Purposes Knowing the relationship between the intensity of playing online games and learning motivation with learning achievement in the Students of the Faculty of General Medicine, University of Malahayati Force 2018. Methodology: The design of this study used an observational analytic approach with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method and obtained a total sample of 118 people. Data analysis uses Spearman's correlation test. Result Spearman correlation bivariate statistical test results obtained each value of p-value = 0,000 in the intensity of playing online games and p-value = 0,000 in learning motivation. Abstract

Learning Achievement can be influenced by external and internal factors. The phenomenon of sleep deprivation and emotional stability fluctuations in medical students at Malahayati University has an impact on the quality of student lectures, so the Grade Point Average values cannot reach optimal values. So this is the concern of researchers to find out whether the relationship between these two factors affects the value of the student Grade. The research aims to determine the relationship between sleep quality and emotional stability with student achievement in the faculty of medicine Malahayati University Generation of 2018. The Respondents This research were students of the medical faculty of Malahayati University Generation 2018, a total of 168 students. The Sample is 118 students that use a purposive sampling technique. The questionnaire was used as a sleep quality questionnaire, emotional stability, and a second-semester transcript. Correlation test shows the relationship between sleep quality and learning achievement with P-Value 0,013 (<0,05) and emotional stability and learning achievement are 0,017 which means there is the relationship between sleep quality and emotional stability with achievement study.
