Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to plan the communication of the GEMA (Joint Movement) campaign against Covid-19 carried out by the Karawang District Health Office. The study used a qualitative method with a descriptive approach while the data interview techniques were interviews, direct interviews and literature studies. The results in this study show several stages that were passed in making communication planning for the campaign against Covid-19, namely data base line and needs assessment, determining communication objectives, planning analysis and strategy development, audience segmentation, media selection, message development, management planning, training, implementation and evaluation. The Joint Movement Campaign which was conducted from March to December 2020 took the form of 3M socialization. This campaign is focused on ages 18 to 50 using live media, social media and outdoor media. Evaluation of activities is carried out by looking at the graph of the distribution of Covid-19 cases in Karawang Regency. The obstacles that occur in this campaign are weather, vehicles and there are some people who still do not use masks properly..

Abstract

The increasing congestion in the capital city of Jakarta demands new solutions and innovations in the delivery of goods or documents. From this problem, the company Westbike Messenger Service emerged as a service provider for goods delivery using bicycles. Making the birth of a new profession, namely bike messenger, is a unique profession because usually courier services for delivery of goods use motorized vehicles. The researcher aims to determine the motives and meaning of the bicycle courier profession for members of the Westbike Messenger Service in Jakarta. This research method uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, because the researcher tries to find out the phenomena from the direct experience of the informants, as well as the motives and meanings of the informants living their profession. The data obtained by the researcher were obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and document study. The results of the study show first, the motive for choosing the bike messenger profession due to economic factors, the hobby of cycling, just experimenting, and suggested by friends. Second, the motive for (in-order-to motive), namely for career advancement, own income, producing hobbies, and wanting to be like a foreign courier. Third, the meaning of the bike messenger profession as his love for bicycles and a productive hobby.

Abstract

This research is used to explore the pattern of social interaction in building the image of the group of supporters of The Jakmania Karawang. Over time, The Jakmania Karawang has obstacles and a negative image as a form of unity by The Jakmania Karawang. The research is a case study approach and method. Sources of data using data collection techniques are descriptive observation, structured interviews, documentation in the form of pictures. The subject of this research is the regional coordinator and member of the field coordinator of The Jakmania Karawang. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model whose contents are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. This study uses the Interaction Analysis Theory proposed by Aubrey Fisher, Leonard Hawes. This theory discusses the interaction process in which a person gives suggestions, feedback, and expects responses from group members. The results of the research found are patterns of social interaction that occur in the form of social contact in the form of social media, discussions, and casual chat. Communication that is formed is verbal communication, two-way and results in direct communication, and group communication. The forms of associative social interaction in the form of kinship, cooperation, embracing, mutual cooperation, and solidarity form conciliation and tolerance, forms of dissociative social interaction in the form of individual and intergroup conflicts and conflicts produce culture. Barriers to patterns of social interaction because they have a distinctive language are different, the driving factor that hinders due to conflict in fanaticism.Kata Kunci: Pola interaksi sosial, kelompok, citra.

Abstract

Thalassemia is a blood disorder or acute anemia that cannot be cured. The role of a mother in caring for a child is the most important role, especially for a mother of a term Thaller used for thalassemia patients. In caring for a Thaller the mother will have its meaning about Thalassemia and has a business looking for treatment with certain reasons to keep her child healthy. This study relates to how the mother interpreted Thalassemia and how the mother's communication experience in carrying out her profession as a mother Thaller. The researcher used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to a study that wanted to gain knowledge about a mother Thaller in interpreting her profession from the results of her conscious experience. The theory used in this study is the Phenomenology theory Alferd Schutz and the Symbolic Interaction theory. With 3 informants. The results of the research on the meaning of Thalassemia according to the informants' point of view are that Thalassemia is not an obstacle in getting along and facing the general public and is not a differentiator that makes their children different from other children and makes Thalassemia a test of life that must be faced in any form. Their motive for continuing treatment for their children is that they want their children to be healthy and heal, even though in reality they cannot be cured and must continue to undergo treatment without any complaints.
