Abstract

The advancement of technology has changed the way we access entertainment, including adult songs that quickly become popular. Young children easily access such content, impacting their growth and development, as adult songs often touch on themes like romance and infidelity. At Kartika Kindergarten IV-73 Jember, some children enjoy singing adult songs they find on social media platforms such as YouTube and TikTok. This research aims to describe the impact of adult songs on the social-emotional development of 5-6 year-old children at Kartika Kindergarten IV-73 Jember. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, employing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. The research results show both positive and negative impacts. Positively, there's better emotional expression in children. However, there are negative impacts due to exposure to violent content, which can trigger aggressive behavior and difficulties in managing emotions. Media influence can also alter perceptions and behaviors related to social relationships and love, including difficulty in adhering to rules and displaying less disciplined behavior. Nonetheless, children still demonstrate attitudes of sharing, competition, and empathy in interactions with peers. In conclusion, it's crucial for adults to monitor children's access to media content, especially adult songs, to minimize negative impacts and support their positive development

Abstract

Monitoring the nutritional status of children aged 0-6 years can be done at school. Teachers play a role in recognizing the nutritional status of their students. This study aims to identify and monitor the nutritional status of children at TKIT Ananda. This research is a quantitative research with research locations in TKIT Ananda, Jember. The number of samples in this study were 11 samples, namely 6 girls and 5 boys. Data was collected by measuring body weight and height, after which it was analyzed using the z-score method and anthropometric books. Based on the measurement results using the indicators for BB/U, TB/U, BB/TB it can be concluded that the nutritional status of children at TKIT Ananda Jember is classified as not good.

Abstract

Abstrak Pendidikan anak usia dini merupakan tahap awal dan terpenting dalam proses pembelajaran dan perkembangan jangka panjang. Aspek penting yang perlu distimulasi pada anak usia dini antara lain aspek sosial emosional yang meliputi kesadaran diri, rasa tanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri dan orang lain, menaati peraturan, pengaturan diri, dan bertanggung jawab atas perilakunya demi kebaikan orang lain. Untuk mewujudkan sinergi antara guru dan orang tua dalam pendidikan anak usia dini, khususnya dalam proses stimulasi sikap tanggung jawab anak, maka dilakukan penelitian tentang Pengembangan Media Evaluasi Harian Daring untuk Menstimulasi Sikap Tanggung Jawab pada Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun yang sekaligus sebagai upaya untuk menyukseskan program Tujuh Kebiasaan Hebat Anak Indonesia yang digagas oleh Kementerian Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah Republik Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tentang pengembangan media evaluasi harian daring untuk menstimulasi sikap tanggung jawab anak usia 5-6 tahun yang dioperasikan secara daring. Untuk menilai efektivitas media, dilakukan penilaian terhadap respon praktisi pendidik anak usia dini dari lembaga yang melaksanakan evaluasi harian aktivitas anak dan yang tidak melaksanakan evaluasi harian aktivitas anak. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penilaian praktisi terhadap media yang dikembangkan, maka Media Evaluasi Harian Daring untuk Menstimulasi Tanggung Jawab Anak Usia Dini Usia 5-6 Tahun layak digunakan dengan Tingkat Response sebesar 84,76%.

Abstract

Teachers' productivity can't be separated from how the school principal's leadership acts in leading institutions. The lack of communication between the principal and the teachers in implementing emergency learning during the pandemic becomes the background of the study. This article aims to determine the correlation between the school principal's leadership and teachers' productivity during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ten teachers became the respondents of the study. The type of research is correlational research using rank-order formula. The method used in this study was quantitative data analysis. The result showed a good relationship between the school principal's leadership and teachers' productivity. The manual calculation showed that rcount was 0.745, higher than rtable (0.576). In percentage, the value obtained was 55.5%, and 44.5% of the value was affected by other factors. The criterion used was n=10 with rtable = 0.576 at a 95% significant level. The study found that the principal's control was very influential in maintaining the quality of education during a pandemic.

Abstract

The quality of education can be measured by the role of the principal. This study aims to describe the role of the principal in the quality of education at TK Arni Jember. The method used is a descriptive method in the form of spoken and written words from the subject of the perpetrators observed using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview and documentation techniques. The subjects of this study consisted of the principal and teachers at TK Arni Jember. Data analysis of the study used a model developed by Milles and Huberman. The results of this study explain that the quality of education at TK Arni Jember has met the National Education Standards and the role of the principal in improving the quality of education in the institution has been running well. This can be seen in terms of the quality of education and work programs that have been implemented well from time to time. The principal as a leader always outlines the school's vision and mission to achieve quality targets, involves teachers and parents in school decision-making, always provides innovation, motivation and work enthusiasm to all educators and education staff so that they remain enthusiastic in carrying out their duties to continue to improve the quality of education at TK Arni Jember.

Abstract

Background of the study: Disruptive behavior refers to actions that tend to oppose or interfere with a child's interactions with peers and adults. This type of behavior has a negative impact because it can disrupt the learning process, and therefore, requires proper intervention. In general, such negative behaviors need to be modified in order to be reduced. The token economy technique is a form of behavior modification designed to increase targeted positive behaviors and decrease undesired behaviors through the use of tokens as reinforcement. Aims and scope of paper: This study aims to determine the effect of implementing a token economy on disruptive behavior in children. Methods: The research method used was a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group. This study was conducted at ARNI Kindergarten in Jember. The sampling technique used was convenience sampling, involving children from groups A2 and A3, totaling 28 children as research subjects. Data on children's disruptive behavior were collected through observation using an observation sheet instrument containing indicators of disruptive behavior. Data analysis was conducted using an Independent Sample T-test, with all analyses performed using the SPSS program. Results: The results of the Independent Sample T-test showed that the calculated t-value was greater than the critical t-value (t = 2.818 > 1.782) and in a negative direction (-), indicating a significant difference in children's disruptive behavior before and after the implementation of the token economy. This suggests that the token economy effectively reduces disruptive behavior in group A children at ARNI Kindergarten, Jember. Contribution: This study specifically examines the impact of using a token economy on children’s disruptive behavior. It provides valuable insights for teachers in addressing disruptive behavior through the application of token economy strategies. Reducing such behavior can help children learn more effectively and contribute to creating a comfortable and conducive learning environment.

Abstract

ASI merupakan sumber nutrisi terpenting bayi, dan direkomendasikan untuk diberikan secara eksklusif selama 6 bulan mulai bayi dilahirkan.  Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu mengenai keterkaitan ASI dengan perkembangan motorik anak menemukan hasil yang bervariasi, sehingga dibutuhkan penelitian empiris dalam lingkup penelitian yang lebih luas.  Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji perbedaan perkembangan motorik anak usia dini 6-24 bulan ditinjau dari pemberian ASI eksklusif.  Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian komparatif, dengan pengambilan data menggunakan metode survei berbantuan kuisioner yang disebarluaskan melalui Google Form.  Subyek penelitian adalah 133 responden ibu yang mempunyai anak di usia 6-24 bulan yang didapatkan melalui metode incidental sampling.  Uji hipotesis menggunakan rumus Mann-Whitney dikarenakan data tidak normal.  Hasil uji hipotesis menemukan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,180 yang artinya tidak ada perbedaan signifikan dari perkembangan motorik anak usia dini 6-24 tahun ditinjau dari pemberian ASI eksklusif.
