Abstract

In learning activities, sometimes students easily get bored with an explanation from a teacher. Including young children who still have a sense of wanting to play, manual or formal learning will certainly make children easily bored. Therefore the author aims to change the way of learning by introducing web-based learning. To motivate children's creativity by learning to use existing technological innovations. So that children are not too bored in learning in class every day (except holidays). The author makes direct observations of objects, to find out what learning methods are applied in Kali Bening Kindergarten. Using a web-based application designed using a programming language and MySQL as a database server.

Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to determinehow the effect of a combination of Vygotsky and Polya's Problem Based Instruction (PBI) learning model to improve students' conceptual understanding in facing Era 4.0. This research was implemented at the State Islamic University of North Sumatra in Medan City with a population of all fourth-semester students by taking a sample through a random sampling technique. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a post-test control group design. To collect data, the instrument used was a test. Testing of the test instruments consists ofcontent validity, reliability, difficulty level, and distinguishing power. The prerequisite test includes the normality test and homogeneity test with a significant level of 5%. Hypothesis testing using the t-test in testing one average. It is hoped that the problem-solving process created by students actually meets the criteria for understanding the concept in the combination learning group of PBI learning models. The treatment will be carried out in one group with a different time and place, namely students of the Mathematics study program who are taking linear algebra lectures in the fourth semester. The research findings recommend that the combination of PBI learning models be used as one of the learning approaches used in primary schools to achieve competence and have high creativity for Era 4.0 students.Keywords: Learning Model, Problem Based Instruction, Vygotsky, PolyaAbstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh kombinasi model pembelajaran Problem Based Instruction (PBI) Vygotsky dan Polya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa dalam menghadapi Era 4.0.Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Islam Negeri Sumatera Utara yang ada di Kota Medan dengan populasi seluruh mahasiswa semester IV dengan mengambil sampel melalui teknik random sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan rancangan penelitian post-test control group design. Untuk mengumpulkan data,instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes. Pengujian instrumen tes terdiri darikesahihanisi, reliabilitas, tingkat kesulitan, dan daya pembeda. Uji prasyarat meliputi uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji t dalam pengujian satu rata-rata. Proses pemecahan masalah yang dilakukanoleh mahasiswadiharapkan dapat memenuhi kriteria pemahaman konsep padakelompok pembelajaran kombinasi model pembelajaaran PBI. Perlakuan akan dilakukan satu kelompokdengan waktu danlokasi yang berbeda, yaitu mahasiswa jurusan Matematika yang sedang mengikuti Mata KuliahAljabar Linier di semester IV. Temuan penelitian merekomendasikan kombinasi model pembelajaran PBI dapat digunakansebagai metode pembelajaran yang digunakandi sekolah utamanya untuk mencapai kompetensi dan memiliki kreativitas yang tinggi bagi mahasiswa Era 4.0.Kata kunci: Metode Pembelajaran, Problem Based Instruction, Vygotsky, Polya

Abstract

Abstrack : Implementation Of Job Order Costing Methods In Web-Based Production Information Systems. This method is applied in the production information system for the calculation of gypsum production because using this method is more efficient because the calculation is done as a whole starting from raw materials, labor costs to factory overhead costs. in determining the price. In the process of expenditure and entry of goods as well as reports in production are not yet efficient and effective are still calculated manually and reports are still recorded so that calculations still occur errors and loss of production reports. The place of the research was carried out in the company CV Rifqy Gypsum.Keywords : System, Information, Production.Abstrak : Implementasi Metode Job Order Costing Pada Sistem Informasi Produksi Berbasis Web. Metode ini diterapkan  dalam sistem informasi produksi untuk perhitungan produksi gypsum karena dengan menggunakan metode ini lebih efesien karena perhitungan dilakukan secara keseluruhan mulai dari bahan baku, biaya tenaga kerja hingga biaya overhead pabrik. Pada proses produksi gypsum menggunakan bahan baku yang sesuai takaran dan diperhitungkan sehingga memudahkan dalam menentukan harga. Pada proses pengeluaran dan pemasukan barang serta laporan dalam produksi belum efesien dan efektif masih diperhitungkan secara manual dan laporan masih dicatat sehingga perhitungan masih terjadi kesalahan dan hilangnya laporan produksi. Tempat pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan di perusahaan CV Rifqy Gypsum.Kata Kunci : Sistem, Informasi, Produksi.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan Geolocation dan formula Haversine dalam sebuah SIG bertujuan agar pengguna sistem dapat melakukan perhitungan seberapa jarak kita terhadap suatu objek. Pada penelitian ini peneliti mendapatkan informasi lokasi rawan kriminalitas dan kecelakaan dari Polda Sumatera Utara yang berada di Jl. Sisingamangaraja Km. 10,5 No. 60, Timbang Deli, Kec. Medan Amplas, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara 20148, data kriminalitas dan kecelakaan di peroleh pada bagian Reserse Kriminal Umum di Kantor Kepolisian Polda Sumatera Utara dan masyarakat setempat. Lokasi yang akan dijadikan sampel lokasi kriminalitas pada penelitian ada 12 lokasi di kota medan dengan mengambil kisaran lebih dari 40 orang pelaku premanisme dari tahun 2017 – 2021. Pada pengujian akurasi perhitungan jarak, user melakukan perhitungan manual dan membandingkan hasilnya dengan perhitungan yang dilakukan oleh system. Data-data disimpan dengan menggunakan sistem database MySQL sehingga data lebih terjaga keamanan dan memiliki penyimpnan data skala besar. Hasil yang didapatkan pada perhitungan jarak lokasi rawan 1 dan lokasi rawan 2 hasil sama nilainya pada perhitungan manual dan perhitungan system, dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil perhitungan system sudah cukup akurat.

Abstract

Currently, mental health issues in society have become an important focus, given the rise of mental issues, especially on social media. Currently, most of the use of social media is carried out using mobile technology, which also mostly uses the Android and IOS operating systems. This study aims to implement a hybrid app framework in building mobile-based mental health applications that can run on Android and IOS operating systems. The method used to build this application is the waterfall method, which is a systematic and sequential research method. The waterfall method is a step-by-step process that is well adapted to the situation in the field. The analysis is carried out through collecting data related to system needs and mental health by means of observation, interviews, and literature study. The system is designed using use case diagrams and activity diagrams. The testing phase is carried out by black box testing with the aim of finding incorrect functions, interface errors, data structure errors, performance errors, initialization errors and termination. Our findings show that the system can run well on Android and IOS operating systems, this is clarified through the results of black box testing that provides results as expected. This system is expected to be used by the wider community to help maintain mental health stability.

Abstract

The challenge faced at SLB Negeri Autism Sumatra is how to teach education to deaf students so that they can lead normal daily lives and receive religious education according to their beliefs. Currently, the introduction of hijaiyah letters is still done manually by teachers, which causes less efficiency in the learning process because it depends on the individual skills of the teacher. In addition, learning materials for hijaiyah letters are difficult to find in the form of learning media, both in the form of books and electronic media. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to develop web-based applications using the Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) method. This application will facilitate teachers and students of the Autistic Sumatran State SLB in learning hijaiyah letters by displaying the appropriate finger poses. With this application, it is hoped that the learning process can be carried out more efficiently and can be repeated as needed. The purpose of this study is to provide good religious education to deaf students at the Autistic Sumatran State SLB. This research is still in its early stages, but the hope is that it will yield positive results. Through this application, it is hoped that deaf students can learn hijaiyah letters independently and more easily, so that they can carry out their religious worship properly. The results of this study will be measured in the form of numbers or percentages to evaluate the effectiveness of the application in increasing the learning of hijaiyah letters in the Autism State SLB Sumatra

Abstract

The development of the current era will always be followed by increasingly modern technological developments so that this will affect the life of individuals or groupsTechnology also helps MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) to run business units owned by individuals or few people by generating certain revenues and profits. Mine Cakery is one of the SMEs in the city of Medan. Mine Cakery is a business that sells cakes or bread which is located at Jl. Aluminum 1 Tanjung Mulia. Mine Cakery In carrying out its business, it makes pre-order options for several orders, such as Birthday Cake, Wedding Cake etc. However, in the ordering process, the owner of the mine cake shop has difficulty processing orders when customers pre-order and there are too many orders, making it easy for the Mine Patisserie to determine which order to serve first. After the above issue, we need an Android-based application that will be used to process pre-orders. The application will be developed using the FIFO (First In First Out) method. Android-based applications are implemented using the Kotlin programming language and data is stored in the firebase database where the development method is Rapid Application Development. The research results will address the needs of Minecake and the pre-ordering process can be carried out systematically using the FIFO method

Abstract

Technological advancements have had a significant impact on life, including work and education. In the era of globalization, technological development is very important, including in the learning process. Attendance is an important aspect of student performance assessment. However, the manual timekeeping system has problems such as fraud, low accuracy, and data entry errors. This study aims to design conferencing applications that use QR codes and location-based services (LBS) to simplify and accelerate attendance management. The development method used is prototyping, which allows interaction between developers and users. This application is built using App Inventor on Android operating system, allowing to scan QR codes for class attendance. Attendance data is automatically stored in Google Drive for recording and report generation that teachers can flexibly access. The application of this technology is expected to increase the efficiency and accuracy of attendance as well as the quality of the learning process in higher education institutions.

Abstract

The development of Lembaga Pendidikan Qur’an (LPQ) in Medan City is currently expanding, but in obtaining information about Lembaga Pendidikan Qur’an in Medan City is still minimal. Due to the absence of technology-based media used to display location points and routes to LPQ in Medan City. The purpose of this study is to build a geographic information system that can display location point information, the closest route and other information related to LPQ. By using the Research and development research method which aims to create or develop a new product, and implement the A-Star algorithm in order to find the closest route to that location. While in developing the system, the author uses the Rapid Application Development method where at this stage the system built by the author is then tested blackbox testing to find out whether every process in the system is in accordance with its function or not. The final result in this study is a geographic information system application for mapping the distribution of the Lembaga Pendidikan Qur’an (LPQ) based on Android that can be used by the community, especially for those who have children and want to participate in learning activities at Lembaga Pendidikan Qur’an

Abstract

One of the pharmacy installations located in the Medan city area was tasked with overseeing the management of pharmaceutical inventory for public health facilities, ensuring adequate stock levels, and processing medication-related data, including receiving supplies and LPLPO forms from 41 Public Health Centers. Supervisors at the pharmacy installation were responsible for dispensing medications, while medication managers at the Public Health Centers handled medication requests by completing LPLPO forms and sending them to the installation. Issues arose regarding the accuracy of medication data within its operations, encompassing aspects such as initial stock, receipt of medications, inventory management, medication disbursement (including usage, damaged, or expired items), remaining stock, medication requests, and discrepancies between reported and actual medication quantities. The objective of this study was to establish a web-based data processing system utilizing the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) methodology. The DRP approach offered significant insights for forecasting medication stock demands and effectively guided the pharmacy installation in meeting the medication needs of the Public Health Centers. Furthermore, the DRP method shed light on the distribution process costs, thus serving as a valuable tool for enhancing cost efficiency and effectiveness. Results obtained through the DRP approach provided a more efficient distribution process, yielding a notable 93% reduction in expenditure. Additionally, the DRP method successfully anticipated future requirements by employing structured calculations that delineated demand levels experienced by each Public Health Center, accounting for the distinct needs of each facility.
