Abstract

The development of Muhammadiyah in West Papua is marked by the development of Muhammadiyah's charitable endeavors in the field of education. Where several Muhammadiyah schools are excellent for the people of Sorong, both Muslims and non-Muslims. One of the Muhammadiyah educational institutions that is of interest to the Muslim community is MTs Muhammadiyah II Aimas. The aim of the research is to analyze the learning model of al-Islam and integrative Muhammadiyah and learning implementation. The research paradigm is interpretive, qualitative approach, type of case study research, data collection techniques are carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The resulting data were analyzed using a descriptive model with the following steps: data collection, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusions. In order for the validity of the data to be accounted for, the following measures are carried out: extending the observation period, continuous observation, triangulation, and conducting member checks. The conclusion from the results of this study is that the implementation of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan learning at MTs Muhammadiyah Aimas is divided into two, namely Islamic Religious Education and Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyahan. Learning is implemented with Islamic activities contained in extracurricular activity programs, namely Hisbul Wathan, Drum Band, Tapak Suci, Dhuha Prayer and Tahsin. The integrative AIK learning model referred to in this study is in line with Fogarty's (1991) theory, namely The Integrated Model (integrative model). that is integrating one discipline. By focusing on integrating a number of skills that the teacher wants to train his students, including thinking skills, social skills, and organizational skills.

Abstract

Pendidikan agama Islam merupakan pondasi utama dalam berdirinya agama Islam yang membumi. Pada wilayah Indonesia timur, pembinaan agama Islam masih terbatas pada masjid-masjid raya dan program sosial kemasyarakatan yang letaknya di pusat kota. Padahal pembinaan agama Islam lebih diperlukan bagi masyarakat pesisir dan pedalaman. Mitra masyarakat muslim Warmon Kokoda Kabupaten Sorong adalah masyarakat asli Papua yang telah memeluk Islam karena faktor kepala suku. Meskipun telah lama memeluk agama Islam namun masyarakat muslim Warmon Kokoda minim akan pembinaan agama Islam. Permasalahan utama pada mitra yaitu rendahnya pendidikan agama Islam, rendahnya kemampuan membaca al-Qur’an serta kurangnya kesadaran hidup berorganisasi. Selanjutnya pengabdi akan menggunakan metode konstekstual dalam mengatasi permasalahan mitra, sebab metode ini yang paling tepat dan praktis mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami oleh mitra. Sedangkan gerakan pembinaan agama islam dengan metode kontekstual pada suku Kokoda di kampung Warmon dilakukan dengan cara pembinaan agama Islam pada anak-anak, remaja, dan orang tua. Untuk mempermudah pelaksanaan pengabdian, pengabdi akan melibatkan anggota Ikatan Mahasiswa Muhammadiyah (IMM) Komisariat Dewantara dan Corps Muballigh Muhammadiyah kabupaten Sorong. Adapun hasil dari pengabdian ini berupa stimulus dan pemberian motivasi agar mampu mengurangi permasalahan mitra, selanjutnya pengabdi dan tim akan memantau program yang dilaksanakan agar terus kontinyu sehingga dapat mengatasi permasalahan mitra.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of teacher motivation on mathematics learning outcomes in fractional material in class IV SD Inpres 109 Perumnas Sorong City. This research is an experimental study using a pretest-posttest group design research design. The independent variable in this study is teacher motivation while the dependent variable is learning outcomes. The sample of this study was the 50th-grade students of SD Inpres 109 Perumnas Sorong City as many as 50 students, divided into two groups namely the Experimental Group with 25 students and the Control Group with 25 students. Data collection techniques used were questionnaire, test, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique consists of three stages, namely the stage of a description of the data, the stage of testing the requirements of the analysis, and the stage of testing the hypothesis. Questionnaire reliability test results obtained Cronbach's Alpha results of 0.860. Then the reliability test results of the pre-test results obtained Cronbach's Alpha results of 0.750 and the reliability test of the post-test questions obtained Cronbach’s Alpha results of 1.258. From the analysis of the results of the calculation of the motivation of learning experimental class students obtained a total score of 1787 with an average of 3.574. Percentage of 64% shows good motivation from students and 36% shows quite a good category. Whereas the control class obtained a total score of 1748 with an average of 3.496. Percentage of 64% shows good motivation from students and 36% shows quite good category. From the data analysis, the Kolmogrov Smirnov Asymp normality test was obtained. Sig (2-tailed)> 0.05 then normal data is obtained. From the analysis of the data obtained homogeneity test that Asymp. Sig (2-tailed)> 0.05 then obtained homogeneous data. Paired T-test results obtained the t value of the experimental class t count of 14.334 while the t class of the control class of 14.511 and the value of t count> t table or sig 0.000 <0.05 in both classes then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an influence of teacher motivation on learning outcomes of fraction material mathematics in class IV SD Inpres 109 Perumnas Sorong City, if the teacher's negative expectations decrease, the learning achievement of students will increase

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian dari artikel ini adalah memaparkan pentingnya pengembangan berpikir kritis dan implementasinya dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) serta kaitannya terhadap pendidikan Islam di era Society 5.0 terkusus pada sekolah dasar. Konsep berpikir kritis yang digunakan adalah teori belajar Taksonomi Bloom. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan metode analisis isi (content analysis). Sumber data berasal dari jurnal maupun buku dalam bidang pendidikan Islam dan pengembangan berpikir kritis menggunakan konsep taksonomi bloom. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara mengumpulkan reverensi terkait, baik secara manual maupun secara digital. Setelah data tersebut terkumpul kemudian dilakukan display, reduksi dan dikonstruksi sehingga muncul konsep baru yang utuh dan kekinian Penelitian ini menghasilkan perlunya pengembangan pembelajaran PAI pada aspek kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik pada dan di integrasikan dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Hal tersebut semakin mendesak sebab tantangan pendidikan pada era society 5.0 mengharuskan dunia pendidikan termasuk sekolah dasar dapat untuk menghasilkan lulusan yang tanggap terhadap teknologi.

Abstract

Sampah organik rumah tangga merupakan salah satu penyumbang terbesar emisi gas rumah kaca dan pencemaran lingkungan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas warga dalam mengelola limbah organik melalui penerapan dua model teknologi tepat guna, yaitu komposter aerob sistem ember tumpuk dan komposter aerob berbahan limbah spanduk bekas. Program dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Malasom, Distrik Aimas, Kabupaten Sorong, dengan melibatkan delapan perwakilan warga RT 002/RW 008 menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi–refleksi, dan perencanaan ulang. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan metode hands-on training yang memungkinkan peserta berpartisipasi langsung dalam pembuatan, pengoperasian, dan perawatan dua model komposter. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh indikator pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan komitmen warga terhadap pengelolaan limbah organik, dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 75% dari hasil pre-test dan post-test. Peserta mampu memahami prinsip pengomposan aerobik, mengidentifikasi manfaat ekologis, serta berkomitmen untuk mengurangi praktik pembakaran sampah di rumah. Kedua model komposter dinilai efektif dan mudah direplikasi; model ember tumpuk unggul dalam efisiensi ruang, sedangkan model spanduk menjadi inovasi berbasis upcycling yang sekaligus mengurangi limbah plastik. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi langsung terhadap upaya mitigasi perubahan iklim dan penguatan ekonomi sirkular di tingkat rumah tangga, sejalan dengan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) poin 13 (Climate Action) dan poin 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).

Abstract

The issue of clean water availability in coastal areas remains a serious challenge, particularly due to increasing seawater intrusion, which causes groundwater to become brackish and unfit for consumption. This condition is also experienced by the community in Warmon Kokoda Village, Sorong Regency, who have long depended on well water sources with high salinity levels. This community service activity aimed to introduce and train residents in the use of single-roof solar desalination technology with a solar-powered cooling fan as an energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solution for brackish water purification. The approach used was Participatory Action Research (PAR), in which the community was actively involved in socialization, learning, and hands-on practice in the manufacture and operation of the device. The results of this activity showed an increase in community knowledge about the working principles and benefits of solar desalination technology, as evidenced by the community's ability to conduct trials on the device. Technical tests showed that the device was able to reduce the salinity of brackish water from 5% to 0%, producing water suitable for consumption according to WHO standards, with good thermal efficiency for the household category. This activity had a significant impact in providing access to safe and potable water for the local community, as well as increasing independence in water resource management.

Abstract

Religious moderation has become a strategic priority in Islamic education, as madrasahs are expected to cultivate students who are tolerant, inclusive, and socially responsible. Although previous studies have emphasized formal religious instruction, the contribution of the hidden curriculum to fostering religious moderation remains underexplored. This study aims to examine how the hidden curriculum facilitates the internalization of religious moderation in an Indonesian madrasah. Using an interpretive qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis involving school leaders, teachers, boarding school supervisors, and students. The data were analyzed through coding, categorization, interpretation, and triangulation to identify patterns of value internalization. The findings reveal that religious moderation is internalized through three interconnected stages: value transformation, value transaction, and value transinternalization. These stages are manifested through teacher role modelling, school culture, collective worship, boarding school life, and students' daily social interactions, fostering tolerance, mutual respect, responsibility, and inclusiveness. The study concludes that the hidden curriculum serves as a strategic mechanism for strengthening religious moderation by integrating moderate Islamic values into students' everyday educational experiences. These findings contribute to the discourse on Islamic education by demonstrating that the hidden curriculum provides a practical framework for promoting religious moderation in madrasahs.
