Abstract

Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar digulirkan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan sebagai wujud transformasi pengelolaan pendidikan yang menempatkan well-being peserta didik sebagai orientasi utama dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran yang mampu mewujudkan well-being bagi peserta didik. Sebagai seorang supervisor, Kepala Sekolah berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui kegiatan supervisi akademik. Pengembangan instrumen supervisi akademik yang mengarah pada pembelajaran berdiferensiasi menjadi salah satu upaya penting yang dapat mewujudkan well-being peserta didik sekaligus mendukung Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar. Analisis situasi di Kabupaten Nganjuk menghasilkan informasi: (1) pembelajaran berdiferensiasi belum diketahui secara detail oleh guru, (2) instrumen supervisi akademik dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi belum dikembangkan oleh kepala sekolah. Sehingga tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan mengembangkan instrumen supervisi dalam pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Metode pelatihan yaitu melalui pendekatan ekspositori, pembimbingan, penugasan dan FGD (Focus Group Discussion) yang diikuti 54 Kepala Sekolah yang tergabung dalam MKKS.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata pro-test terhadap pre-test yaitu sebesar 20%. Selain itu penugasan terhadap kepala sekolah menjadi sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menyusun instrumen supervisi akademik dalam penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi

Abstract

Purpose: The study is conducted to determine, explain, and analyze the role of the principal as a learning leader in the Covid-19 pandemic era. Design/methodology/approach: The research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data are obtained through a literature review and analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. Findings: The results show that (1) the principal professionally conducted dialogue and discussions about learning during the Covid-19 pandemic; (2) the principal provides an example to the teacher in terms of learning; (3) the principal maintains communication, coordination, collaboration and synergy with teachers during the implementation of the online learning process; (4) school principals monitor and evaluate learning in a planned, programmed and continuous manner and make use of the results of monitoring and evaluation for professional development. Practical implications: In practical implementation, there are several things that the principal needs to do, namely (1) monitoring the progress of the school following the vision of the school; (2) being supportive and corrective when there are deviations in the implementation of activities that do not lead to the school's image; (3) monitoring and evaluating the management of the work structure of teachers and students; (4) increasing the role and function of online learning supervisors to improve the quality of learning practices and student learning outcomes in schools; (5) creating a pleasant climate for educators and educational staff as well as students. Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk pengoptimalan fungsi Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) di sekolahan dasar sebagai bentuk kepedulian budaya sehat warga sekolah. Perlu sebuah tindakan di masa pandemi covid-19 saat ini yang menjadi bentuk keprihatinan dalam kesehatan pada semua warga sekolah khususnya para siswa-siswi dalam menjaga kesehatan pasca covid-19. Tentunya hal ini merupakan sebuah langkah awal yang kedepannya bisa menjadi sebuah budaya yang terus dilakukan.  Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam pengoptimalan fungsi Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) dapat dijelaskan sebagai berikut; (1) Sosialisasi peran usaha kesehatan sekolah tingkat dasar; (2) Pembentukan kader tenaga medis tingkat sekolah dasar; (3) Pelatihan kader tenaga medis tingkat sekolah dasar; (4) Penyuluhan program kerja UKS di sekolah; (5) Pelatihan pembuatan administrasi sederhana. Hasil Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat menunjukan bahwa. Pertama, masalah-masalah yang dihadapi guru terkait optimalisasi fungsi usaha kesehatan sekolah (UKS) dalam meningkatkan budaya hidup sehat warga sekolah di SD Negeri 1 Slempit Kedamean Gresik adalah menyangkut perubahan paradigma terkait pentingnya fungsi UKS. Kedua, dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru-guru terkait dengan pentingnya UKS diperlukan peningkatan SDM melalui kegiatan diklat dan non-diklat. Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan pemahaman pengelola pendidikan terhadap penyusunan program rencana pengembangan sekolah berdasarkan hasil riset. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pelatihan (in job) dan pendampingan (on job) sejumlah 32 jam untuk Kepala Sekolah dan Tim Pengembangan Sekolah. Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu kegiatan pelatihan berjalan lancar dan kondusif serta memberikan manfaat bagi mitra, khususnya dalam pemanfaatan hasil riset dalam penyusunan program rencana pengembangan sekolah. Abstract

The Pancasila student profile is a character development in the independent curriculum that students must develop optimally. Professional teachers are central to developing students' character in the Pancasila student profile. Student responses to teachers are needed to determine if a teacher already has professional competence to support students in developing their character in the P5 program. This study examined students' responses to teachers in implementing the project to strengthen the Pancasila student profile (P5). The approach used is descriptive qualitative. Using this approach, the researcher can emphasize the importance of students' responses to the teacher, and the researcher can gain a clear and in-depth understanding of the actual condition of the teacher. Data was taken using questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The results of the analysis of this study were that the responses from students indicated that several teachers could not make the class atmosphere lively when giving material in the P5 program, so learning became boring and monotonous. The implications of this research for the teacher concerned, the school will take the following actions: a. training through the Merdeka Teaching Training application provided by the Ministry of Education and Culture, b. Join the teacher community to be able to share best practices in learning. c. through the school's MGMP.

Abstract

Optimizing the quality of educators is a crucial aspect of improving the overall quality of educational institutions. This study aims to analyze the application of human resource management (HRM) through job analysis and personnel planning strategies to address the issue of declining educator quality. This research employs a systematic literature review (SLR) method by analyzing nine relevant articles from online databases. The findings indicate that a holistic HRM approach, involving job analysis and personnel planning, can significantly enhance educator quality. Factors such as salary, professional training, workload, and recognition were also identified as triggers for low educator quality. This study suggests the need for an HRM approach tailored to the unique characteristics of each educational institution to achieve optimal results.

Abstract

Inclusive education is a global movement that emerged in response to the exclusion of learners who are viewed as different by the education system. Countries that hold the consensus to implement inclusive education have structured their legislation to ensure the implementation of inclusive education. However, the practice in schools may not live up to the rhetoric. The purpose of this study is to describe policy implementation in some developing countries. This research focuses on the implementation of inclusive education policies in developing countries. Developing countries are considered to be lacking in implementing inclusive education policies. In addition, developing countries often adopt policies from developed countries that are not in accordance with the characteristics of their countries. This research uses a literature study of journals related to the implementation of inclusive education in developing countries. The results show that the state that holds the consensus in the implementation of inclusive education has guaranteed the implementation of inclusive education in the constitution. The implementation of inclusive education experiences several obstacles related to accessibility, lack of accompanying teachers, poor acceptance by school community members and less than optimal funding. Constitutionally, the state has guaranteed the implementation of inclusive education, but in its implementation there are still several challenges that result in the achievement of the objectives of organizing inclusive education is not optimal. Therefore, the government needs to be consistent in implementing inclusive education policies, so that the achievement of inclusive education goals can be achieved.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze Masterweb-based learning management in an educational context. The main objectives of this research are to: 1) Know the preparation done in Masterweb-based learning management, 2) Examine the integration of Masterweb-based learning management implementation, 3) Evaluate the effectiveness of Masterweb-based learning management, and 4) Assess the impact of the implementation of Masterweb-based learning management on the learning process. Masterweb-based learning management is an innovative approach that utilizes information and communication technology to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process. With the development of technology, the implementation of this system is expected to overcome various challenges in education, including limited resources, accessibility, and student engagement. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observation, and document analysis. The participants in this study were educators, students and administrators involved in the use of Masterweb. The results show that thorough preparation, effective integration, and continuous evaluation are the keys to successful Masterweb-based learning management. In addition, the implementation of Masterweb has a significant positive impact on improving student engagement and learning outcomes. These include increased learning motivation, easier access to learning resources, and more dynamic interaction between students and teachers. This research provides practical recommendations for further development and implementation of Masterweb-based learning management in various educational institutions. Thus, it is expected that Masterweb can be an effective solution in facing learning challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the management of Character Education in Indonesian Schools in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - Malaysia which includes the planning, implementation and evaluation processes. This study is a qualitative study using a descriptive approach, the results of this study are not to find relationships or influences but rather to describe or map the phenomenon clearly. The selection of research subjects was carried out using the purposive sampling technique. Data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data validity using triangulation techniques. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the management of Character Education in Indonesian Schools in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah - Malaysia is carried out through three stages, namely; the planning stage, the school holds a meeting involving the entire school community to formulate what character values will be developed, the program and how the implementation mechanism is. At the implementation stage, instilling Character Education in students is carried out through integration with the school curriculum, extracurricular activities, school culture, school regulations and cooperation with stakeholders. Furthermore, the school conducts periodic evaluations to see the results of the Character Education instillation program for students running optimally according to school goals or not. The management of character education at Sekolah Indonesia Kota Kinabalu, Sabah-Malaysia, has shown success in shaping students' characters through a planned, holistic approach, and involving various parties. With continuous strengthening of management, this school can continue to be a model in the implementation of cross-cultural character education in border areas. In addition, the success of Sekolah Indonesia Kota Kinabalu in shaping positive characters in students has also motivated the Community Learning Center (CLC) to implement the same thing in their respective CLCs.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the policy of strengthening religious character education at SMKN 1 Duduksampeyan. Religious character education is one of the main priorities in forming students who are not only academically competent but also have moral and spiritual integrity. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the STAKE evaluation model which includes the dimensions of antecedent, transaction, and outcomes. The results of the study indicate that this policy has succeeded in increasing students' religious awareness, especially in the discipline of worship, although participation in extracurricular activities based on religion is still low. The conclusion is that although the policy has been effective, additional strategies are needed to increase student participation in non-academic activities so that the impact of religiosity can be more significant.
