Abstract

Indonesian football turns to be a “colosseum” of yearly political conflict among political “gladiators”. The government aware that according to the history, there is a closeness between football and politics. The government also aware that football can be used as a soft power to stay existed on the international stage. The problem is, the international football federation prohibit the intervention of the government and give a punishment in the shape of suspension for the violators. This paper used a case study method to explain the phenomenon. The government choose using a political figure to indirectly resolute the conflict and govern the football. The military-political figure tends to have suitable characteristics to help the government. However, the political figure has a personal political ambition. It is reasonable in Indonesia.

Abstract

In the context of an organization, the public may have various interests. The practitioners of public relations need the right formula to maintain the relationship with their public. This research intends to find and evaluate the proper typology to be implemented into the Cyber PR context. This research uses descriptive and comparative content analysis methods. An organization can maintain their publics by doing entertainment, direct communication, two-way communication, and humor. This research amplifies that the current typology can be implemented in the context of Cyber PR, although it receives criticism.

Abstract

The Regional Head Candidates use advertisements on TVRI South Kalimantan to influence the public and get votes during the 2018 Regional Election campaign. The research uses a descriptive quantitative research type. Descriptive method aims to describe systematically the facts or characteristics of certain populations factually and accurately. This type of research uses quantitative content analysis. The findings state that effective advertising must contain creative and attached messages. According to our research, we conclude that political advertising in South Kalimantan is less effective. Prospective Regional Heads cannot rely on this type of advertising as the main campaign tool. They have to improvise with other media.Keywords: Political Communication, Political Advertisiement, Television. ABSTRAKPara Calon Kepala Daerah menggunakan iklan untuk mempengaruhi masyarakat dan memperoleh suara selama kampanye.Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Metode deskriptif bertujuan melukiskan secara sistematis fakta atau karak-teristik populasi tertentu secara faktual dan cermat. Tipe penelitian menggunakan analisis isi kuantitatif.Hasil temuan menyatakan iklan yang efektif harus mengandung pesan-pesan kreatif dan melekat. Menurut riset kami, kami menyimpulkan bahwa iklan politik di Kalimantan Selatan kurang efektif., Para Calon Kepala Daerah tidak dapat bergantung pada jenis iklan ini sebagai alat kampanye utama. Mereka harus berimprovisasi dengan media lain..Kata kunci: Komunikasi politik, iklan politik, televisi

Abstract

South Kalimantan as an area that is blessed with a lot of river flows, this many river flows can be a blessing and can also be a disaster. As happened in January 2021, many districts in South Kalimantan were affected by floods. However, the people of South Kalimantan were able to deal with it and also minimal casualties, both in the form of property and life losses. The purpose of this study was to see the pattern of adaptation of the community in Tempakang Village and Halong Village in dealing with Floods. The results showed that the communication adaptation pattern of the riverbank community, in this case the village of Tampakang and the village of Halong, can be seen from the pattern of houses, namely houses on stilts. The adaptation process of the community in dealing with the flood disaster is closely related to the ability to predict the arrival of the rainy season which has an impact on flooding. Furthermore, the equipment and household furniture they have are generally made of light material so they are easy to move. In the village community of Tampakang, specifically accompanied by the ability to use boats and the ability to swim since childhood.

Abstract

The general election of Semarang city commonly underlines figures. People choose rationally, smartly, critically, and not easily fooled by politics. The behavior of electing people makes it difficult for political parties to win political elections. This condition is experienced by the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDIP) in the 2000s and 2010s. The party electability meets a dilemma when an elected leader faced corruption cases. Hendrar Prihadi as PDIP cadre has succeeded in reversing the situation and won Semarang mayor election in 2015. This descriptive qualitative study explores how Hendrar's political winning strategy. Hendrar has carried out political communication and political campaigns using Twitter. Twitter is used by Hendrar to reach the wider community throughout his voters. Laporhendi is an important hashtag for Hendrar to be shared interactively.

Abstract

Waste management and greening are noteworthy problems in Banjarmasin rivercity. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of “ForumKomunitas Hijau” (FKH) Environmental Campaign in Nature Conservation inBanjarmasin City. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collectiontechniques using semi-structured interviews, documentation, library research, with dataanalysis techniques such as CAQDAS. The results showed that the FKH environmentalcampaign took the form of problem analysis, audience analysis, assigning media,selecting media, developing messages, producing media, implementing programs,monitoring, and evaluating. They use banners, shirts, and facebook groups, usingIndonesian and Banjar languages.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the hidden signs and meanings behind the film "Dua Hati Biru" in presenting the role of a mother. The theory used in this research is Roland Barthes' semiotics. The paradigm in this study is a critical paradigm, this approach uses qualitative with Roland Barthes' semiotic method. This research is an analysis by observing images and dialogues that contain elements of the representation of the mother's role. The results that will be obtained are shown through the scenes in the film "Dua Hati Biru". This representation of the mother's role is found starting from a mother who takes care of children, home, work and when overcoming problems in the household.

Abstract

This study was written because some students have been negatively affected by online gambling, and to figure out how to stop it. Online gambling itself is a game that uses the internet and involves money or valuable items, where players top up their digital wallets or e-wallets to participate. Players can win or lose, and the game involves betting. The research question in this study is: How does persuasive communication influence students to engage in online gambling, and how can persuasive communication be used to prevent online gambling among students? The objective of this study is to understand how persuasive communication influences the mindset and behavior of students in Surakarta and to identify efforts or methods to prevent online gambling addiction. The benefits of this study are to obtain in-depth information regarding how persuasive communication patterns influence students in Surakarta and the preventive measures for online gambling. The theory used in this study is the learning theory or social cognitive theory. This study is classified as qualitative descriptive, with data collection through semi-structured interviews using snowball sampling.
