Abstract

The development of digital media has given rise to the phenomenon of sharenting, namely the practice of parents sharing their children’s lives on social media. This activity is not merely an expression of affection but also a social practice that involves identity construction, privacy negotiation, and the potential commodification of children. This study analyzes sharenting through Erving Goffman’s dramaturgical perspective, viewing parents as actors who present an ideal family image on the frontstage while concealing realities in the backstage. The research employs a qualitative approach with a library research strategy, utilizing scholarly articles, academic books, and policy reports. The findings reveal that sharenting serves as a tool of impression management but also generates serious risks such as blurred private–public boundaries, the permanence of digital footprints, the potential for cyberbullying, and commercial exploitation of children. Therefore, sharenting must be understood as a complex phenomenon that demands ethical awareness, clear regulations, and critical reflection from both parents and policymakers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the alignment between employees’ positions and job descriptions at Toko Jaya Abadi Motor, Sragen, using Alo Liliweri’s organizational sociology perspective. Compatibility between positions and job descriptions is crucial for maintaining employee performance, job satisfaction, and organizational stability. A mixed-methods approach with a descriptive design was employed, involving 23 employees as respondents through interviews and a questionnaire consisting of 43 Likert-scale items. The results of the study indicate that Toko Jaya Abadi Motor has a stable level of alignment between employees’ positions and their job descriptions. The leadership system implemented is a centralized leadership structure, in which the store owner serves as the primary decision-maker. Employee performance remains relatively stable due to social cohesion, although variations in individual initiative were observed. Employee motivation is driven by both economic and socio-emotional factors, with job satisfaction strongly supported by a familial work atmosphere. Nevertheless, the absence of formal SOPs and limited career development opportunities are significant challenges. These findings highlight that the success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is largely influenced by internal social dynamics rather than formal managerial efficiency

Abstract

This study integrates bibliometric analysis, systematic scoping reviews, and sociological analysis to map the landscape of AI research in otitis media (OM) with a focus on social, cultural, and structural dimensions that are often overlooked. Using the Social Construction of Illness theoretical framework, this study reveals that the majority of AI innovations in OM diagnosis are dominated by a biomedical perspective that ignores patients' life experiences and the social structures that shape their disease journey. Of the 47 articles analyzed, only four studies discussed conversation-based AI applications, and only one considered the perspective of patients or families. This gap reflects the dominance of the technocratic-medical paradigm and neglect of health equity. Based on the gap analysis, this study proposes the development of an AI chatbot (INFO-OM) designed with user participation, cultural sensitivity, and a deep understanding of the social determinants of health as a methodological foundation for creating socially valid and inclusive health technology. This study adopts Pierre Bourdieu's sociological perspective on social capital to analyze how the distribution of AI knowledge in OM diagnosis reflects power structures in the health field. The analysis shows that access to AI technology as symbolic capital is concentrated in research institutions in developed countries, while communities with limited economic and cultural models, especially in Low and Middle Income Countries (LMICs), experience double exclusion from access to health services and from participation in the development of health technology.

Abstract

Puskesmas in Sidoarjo Regency do not yet have facilities for monitoring LBW in real time via android either by health workers at the health centre or the patient's family. Puskesmas Taman serves communities spread across several villages with a coverage area spread across several villages. This is an obstacle for families to get access to monitor the patient's progress, because the patient is in the NICU or ICU room. Another thing is that there is no training for users in the use of telemedicine-based Baby Incubator equipment. The role of users and families of patients is very important to keep the equipment in good condition. However, operating trainings based on new technology for users have never been conducted. Efforts to solve the above problems are to carry out counselling and assistance in the use of baby incubator equipment to users including nurses, midwives and other non-health worker users, so as to increase the knowledge of officers or users which in turn will have an impact on increasing the productivity of officers or users and improving the quality of service at the health centre. The purpose of this Community Service is to increase the role and participation of Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya in improving the degree of public health in the Puskesmas Taman area, Sidoarjo Regency. The results of community service through the application of telemedicine-based Baby Incubator at Puskesmas Taman are increased knowledge and skills regarding telemedicine-based baby incubator equipment. This will improve health services, especially for babies who need intensive care. The implementation of this technology provides significant benefits, including increased accessibility of health services, speed of response to patient health conditions, family involvement in care, and efficient use of resources. Assistance to Puskesmas personnel and patient families in the form of training, monitoring and evaluation of the use of appropriate technology in the form of Telemedicine-based baby incubator utilization.

Abstract

Limited access to clean water in rural Indonesia not only affects public health and well-being but also reflects structural challenges in water governance, particularly regarding the quality of community participation. This article examines the dynamics of community participation in water governance and its implications for equitable water access through a comparative study of rural areas in eastern and central Indonesia. The research was conducted in Cunca Lolos and Cunca Wulang villages (East Nusa Tenggara) and Banyuurip Village (Central Java) using a qualitative comparative case study design. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis, and were thematically analyzed by conceptualizing participation as a socially embedded process shaped by power relations and local institutions. The findings reveal that community participation largely remains functional, limited to technical and operational involvement without equal influence in planning and decision-making processes. This pattern occurs across differing ecological contexts, indicating that water inequality is driven less by natural scarcity than by institutional and social structures. Limited participation contributes to unequal water distribution, weak transparency, low collective ownership, and fragile management sustainability, positioning water governance as an arena for reproducing local power relations. The study reframes participation as a layered social practice rather than a normative program indicator, emphasizing that participation quality is central to achieving water justice in rural governance.
