Abstract

Social organizations or institutions cannot walk without money. The financial aspect is indeed very important and requires that the organization conduct fundraising practices so that institutional funding can be fulfilled, therefore the role of social volunteers in fundraising is also one that must be considered. Social volunteer fundraisers are one of several parts of other volunteers. Fundraisers are tasked with funding to assist the sustainability of social service organizations as well as existing programs. The purpose of this study is to illustrate how volunteers in carrying out their roles include their rights and obligations, identify what is potential and problems in voluntary practice, see how the foundation provides efforts to develop the role of volunteers themselves, also what volunteer implications in practice and also tourists volunteer for social welfare science. The research method used was a qualitative approach with the location of the research study at the PPPA Daqu institute in the city of Bandung. The research informants were volunteers who were fundraisers at Mall outlets and also volunteer coordinators as secondary informants. Data collection uses participant observation, in-depth interviews, and secondary data tracking. Data collection used in-depth interviews, participant observation, and secondary data tracking, the results of the study were analyzed qualitatively using coding and category analysis and data validity through data triangulation, member checking, and rich and thick description. The results of the research obtained are about how the wages volunteers receive and also about fundraising schools that are intended for volunteers in improving their skills and potential.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine information technology and the use of financial information systems on the effectiveness of accounting information systems in cooperatives, especially in Purwareja Klampok and Mandiraja districts. This type of research is quantitative research by distributing questionnaires directly to managers and the finance department of cooperatives in the two sub-districts. The population of this research is the manager and the finance department as many as 80 people. The sample in this study was taken 80 people. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression. Quantitative analysis in this study will use validity and reliability tests with Cronbach's Alpha. Classical assumption test includes normality test, multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The results show that information technology and the use of financial information systems have a significant and significant effect on accounting information systems as evidenced by the results of the calculation of the SPSS application program, the R value of the two variables is 0.806 while the coefficient of determination is 0.650 (65%) meaning that the percentage of the influence of information technology variables and utilization of financial information systems by 65% ​​and the remaining 35% is influenced by other variables that are not included in this study. Abstract

  The orphanage is one of the solutions to handling every abandoned individual. It helps to improve the child’s welfare a way of educating, taking care of, guiding, giving directions, and providing some skill sets to develop independence for each individual. The independence which is focus of this research is aiming at economic independence where an entrepreneur mindset is expected to develop among the blinds inside the orphanage. This has become an attractive point since the blinds will be guided in strengthening their entrepreneurial spirit. The approach being used is descriptive with the qualitative method. The outcome of this research is to provide useful insights into developing theories related to the social worker’s role in implementing the blind entrepreneur mindset of More Cafe Bandung.

Abstract

Joint Business Group/Kelompok Usaha Bersama (KUBE) is a business scheme launched in 2010 by the Ministry of Social Affairs for underprivileged families who received social assistance from the Family Hope Program (PKH), with the idea that they will no longer depend on social assistance. KUBE has not yet achieved its goals due to low business management capabilities, weak entrepreneurial culture which has resulted low economic empowerment and performance level. This reason as an urgent need for research and development to analyze phenomena and find solutions for better KUBE performance. The aim of the research is to describe and analyze the value based management at KUBE in Bandung City. This research resulted a new findings related to the stages of determining the assumptions and legal basis used, formulating concepts and proving them into the analytical implementation of KUBE. This implementation was supported by the West Java Provincial Social Service Board in the form of providing data, information on the implementation of KUBE and facilitating the presentation of research reports. The method used is a qualitative approach with TKT at level 3. The main research output is publication on Sinta 1 or Sinta 4 and the additional outputs is a book chapter.

Abstract

Pekerjaan sosial adalah kegiatan profesional dalam menolong individu, kelompok atau komunitas untuk meningkatkan atau memperbaiki keberfungsian sosialnya, serta untuk mewujudkan kondisi sosial yang diharapkan sesuai dengan tujuannya. Salah satu metode praktik intervensi pekerjaan sosial adalah case work yang dapat menggunakan grafologi sebagai alat asesmen, yaitu analisis tulisan tangan yang merupakan suatu perwujudan dari pikiran bawah sadar seseorang, serta menggambarkan karakter seseorang melalui tulisan tangannya. Selain memberikan tambahan pengetahuan tentang grafologi kepada siswa pekerjaan sosial, mereka juga akan terbantu untuk ikut memahami dirinya sendiri (self-assessment). Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah memberikan pemahaman mengenai intervensi pekerjaan sosial dan memberikan pengetahuan dasar grafologi sebagai alat asesmen untuk siswa. Metode pelatihan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test sebagai evaluasi dari transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi kepada siswa kelas 12 SMKN 15 Kota Bandung. Target luaran solusi yang ingin dicapai adalah meningkatnya pemahaman siswa tentang analisis tangan untuk mengetahui karakter klien pada praktik pekerjaan sosial mikro siswa. Hal ini terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dari nilai skor 6 pada pre-test telah meningkat sampai ke rata-rata hitung mencapai nilai 8 pada post-test.

Abstract

Creativity is the potential of all people who do not need special talents and abilities, generally people actually lose creativity because of the cultivation process including formal education that promotes creativity and provides a gap in society that only educated people can be seen, listened to and respected, this is the same thing that makes coastal communities rarely seen. And the processing of marine fishery resources is a form of embodiment of creativity, this research was raised with the title "The relationship between creativity in processing marine fishery resources and the fulfillment of the basic needs of coastal women". The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe how the creativity of coastal women in processing marine fishery resources, to analyze and describe how the basic needs of coastal women are, to analyze and describe how the relationship between creativity in processing marine fishery resources and the fulfillment of the basic needs of coastal women in bunko lor village, Cirebon regency. The methods used are quantitative approaches with descriptive analysis, data collection techniques, namely by non-participant observations, literature studies and filling out questionnaires, the population in this study is coastal women in bunko lor village who have a fishery processing business totaling 30 respondents. The sampling technique uses probability sampling, Area random sampling type. For analysis techniques and hypothesis testing using spearman rank correlation test. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between creativity in processing marine fishery resources and meeting the basic needs of coastal women in Bungko Lor Village, Cirebon Regency.

Abstract

Abstrak Program Kemitraan Masyarakat dilaksanakan melalui Pengembangan Usaha Kuliner “Keito Coffee”, salah satu Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kecamatan Margahayu Kabupaten Bandung. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan, Tim pelaksana kegiatan menilai terdapat permasalahan mitra yaitu bahwa dalam situasi Pandemi COVID 19, Pelaku UMKM khususnya bidang usaha kuliner mengalami penurunan penjualan yang cukup drastis. sehingga berpengaruh terhadap penjualan, yakni penurunan penjualan yang cukup drastis sehingga mengakibatkan menurunnya pula pendapatan dan menimbulkan permasalahan lain, yakni: masalah kemampuan pemenuhan kebutuhan usaha, baik kebutuhan modal, kebutuhan penggajian pegawai, dan kebutuhan sewa tempat. Berdasarkan hal tersebut tim pengusul memberikan solusi pemasalahan mitra yaitu pengembangan usaha guna menanggulangi dan memulihkan kondisi, sehingga pelaku UMKM dapat bangkit dari situasi ini. Adapun Pokok-pokok kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah sebagai berikut: Engagement intake dan kontrak, yaitu tahap pelamaran terhadap mitra, yakni mengenai kesediaannya untuk menjadi mitra dalam kegiatan PKM dan kesepakatan bekerjasama; Asesment; yaitu mengidentifikasi potensi dan kendala kegiatan, Menyusun/kompilasi rencana kegiatan berdasarkan data kebutuhan. Pada tahap pelaksanaan kegiatan memberikan penyuluhan mengenai Pemeliharaan Lingkungan sekitar café, Penyuluhan Optimalisasi Pelayanan Konsumen, Penyuluhan Manajemen SDM, serta Penyerahan bantuan fasilitas, Evaluasi hasil kegiatan dan terminasi. Hasil dari kegiatan Pengembangan Usaha ini adalah bertambahnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman pelaku usaha mengenai daya tarik tempat usaha dan hal-hal yang mendukung terhadap pengembangan usaha yang berdampak pada meningkatnya jumlah pelanggan, sehingga dapat menambah penghasilan serta dapat memenuhi kebutuhan usahanya. Dengan demikian dalam masa pandemi ini kegiatan usaha masih bisa bertahan. Kata Kunci: Usaha Kuliner, Dampak Pandemi, Pengembangan Usaha, Penyuluhan.

Abstract

Pekerjaan sosial adalah kegiatan profesional dalam menolong individu, kelompok atau komunitas untuk memperbaikikeberfungsian sosialnya, serta untuk mewujudkan kondisi sosial yang diharapkan. Salah satu metode praktik intervensi pekerjaan sosial adalah group work dengan menggunakan kelompok sebagai sasaran intervensi. Salah satu pemerlu pelayanan kesejahteraan sosial adalah difabel yang pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dibantu dari sisi produksi, manajemen dan pemasaran batik yang diproduksi di Batik Griya Difabel. Perusahaan tersebut mulai beroperasi tahun 2020 sebagai hasil karya disabilitas yang telah selesai mengikuti pelatihan membatik di UPTD Pusat Pelayanan Sosial Griya Harapan Difabel Dinas Sosial Provinsi Jawa Barat. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mengembangkan kemampuan manajemen produksi batik, meningkatkan keterampilan pemasaran batik, dan meningkatkan volume penjualan batik. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan dan evaluasi, serta penerapan teknologi dan keberlanjutan program. Permasalahan prioritas adalah bidang manajemen dan pemasaran, sehingga solusi yang ditawarkan adalah bantuan penyusunan perencanaan bisnis dan untuk mendukung pemasaran dibuat e-flyer, pelatihan meningkatkan pengetahuan pemasaran dan penerapan teknologi digital marketing dengan menggunakan SEO serta peningkatan pengetahuan dalam membuat content produk batik. Hasil kegiatan menghasilkan e-flyer untuk sosialisasi, terwujudnya dokumen perencanaan bisnis batik, hasil pre-test dan post-test menggambarkan peningkatan pengetahuan pemasaran, pengetahuan SEO serta peningkatan jumlah content promosi produk batik, iklan di sosial media dan jumlah pengunjung web.

Abstract

The Ministry of Social Affairs implemented the KUBE (Kelompok Usaha Bersam) or known as micro business group which is managed and owned by beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program/Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) by developing home business. This activity is accompanied by social work in sub district level under the coordination of Board of Social Service Regency with the duties and roles as person in charge during implementing the program for strengthening their entrepreneurship spirit so that they do not depend anymore on public assistance, this dependency is a manifestation of the culture of poverty. The aim is to describe the role of social work in strengthening entrepreneurship of KUBE. Research method used qualitative and data collection through interview. Data analysis used SWOT analysis to discover the appropriate strategy. The results showed that the role of social work in business supervising as an enabler, broker, mediator and educator need to be improved. The recommendation goes to institution related to KUBE development, higher education, community agent and Corporate Social Responsibility Program to strengthen the knowledge of social worker in micro business to improve spirit of social entrepreneurship and their business management. Abstract

Orphanage​ as institution welfare social own role important in give protection , care and fulfillment need base children who are lost parenting . This institution​ become alternative parenting based institutions that do not only give place live , but also educate and shape character children to be able to independent and empowered competitive in the future . In its implementation, workers social become key main in ensure the parenting process walk in accordance with principlessocial welfare, such as non-discrimination , interests best for children, and children's participation. Social worker own competence professional in understand need child in a way holistic and provides appropriate intervention​ in various situations, including condition psychosocial vulnerable children. They​ No only act as caregiver , but also as facilitator , companion , advocate , and liaison between children , families and institutions related . Therefore that , role social worker become very strategic in ensure quality care and fulfillment rights children in the neighborhood orphanage care . Research This aim For know How role social worker in parenting Children at the LKSA Nurul Ihsan Orphanage in Bandung. Research This use method qualitative with design descriptive . Informant chosen through purposive sampling technique . Data collection technique carried out through observation , interview in-depth , and documentation . Research results show that social worker activities at LKSA Nurul Ihsan run various role . The role carried out at three levels of intervention : micro ( interaction direct with child in matter support emotional and needs basic ), mezzo ( strengthening connection social between group in nursing home ), and macro ( encouraging policies and systems service social policies that favor children ) . In addition , several obstacle in implementation parenting , such as limitations source Power human resources , operational funds and challenges in weave connection between child with family his womb . Although there is various challenges , workers social Keep going make an effort give optimal care through individual, family , and community approaches . Research This give contribution in strengthening role social worker in the environment orphanage care so that they can more effective and sustainable.
