Abstract

Excessive use of gadgets and internet access at an early age can affect a child's growth and development. The results of the research aim to determine the role of parents in selecting gadget broadcast programs for early childhood. The method used is a descriptive quantitative method. The research results show that 72.34% of parents only occasionally view and control what shows their children access and consume. 8.51% of them actually choose shows that are suitable for their children, do not give children the freedom to choose the shows they want to watch themselves, and 19.14% of parents give their children freedom to use devices and to play with devices, as long as they don't fuss and bother their parents. It was concluded that parents need an active role in assisting the use of devices and internet access to monitor and control the content of shows that can be seen by children. Although each group of parents has its reasons regarding the mentoring role that has been carried out, basically monitoring must be carried out so that parents have sufficient knowledge regarding children's behavior, and establish signs, rules and instructions for their growth and development.

Abstract

The research background is that receptive language skills are essential for young children's ability to retell, follow rules, and carry out instructions. This is crucial because it facilitates a child's communication and interaction with their surroundings, supporting the learning process when conducted with teachers. The research objective is to determine the strategies used by teachers to enhance the receptive language skills of young children at SPS Dahlia 64 in Kalisat, Jember Regency. The research is of a qualitative descriptive nature, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings regarding the strategies employed by teachers include familiarization activities, storytelling, listening to stories and watching videos, using engaging teaching aids, incorporating movement and songs, promoting collaborative activities, allowing children to choose their own activities so they can discuss what they have done, providing picture books, and engaging in question-and-answer sessions. Teachers also establish closeness with children and reach mutual agreements. They frequently encourage children to talk and involve them in activities, such as asking them to pick up or place objects. In conclusion, teachers employ strategies to stimulate the receptive language skills of young children through a communicative approach, engaging activities with appealing and enjoyable media, making it easier for children to express themselves and communicate their thoughts when interacting with others.

Abstract

This study is an educational analysis aimed at shaping the attitudes and behavior of children to become good and morally upright individuals. The purpose of this research is to understand the implementation of religious character values for early childhood in PAUD Yasmin, Jember Regency. The research is of a qualitative descriptive type and employs data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings regarding the implementation of religious character values for young children by teachers in the learning activities include the use of visual media, videos, and storytelling. In the application of religious character values for the early childhood group, this is achieved through daily routines such as Dhuha prayers, reciting prayers, memorizing short verses, and Quranic recitation. For the Playgroup age group, the application of religious character values is also carried out through daily routines, including Dhuha prayers, memorizing short verses, and reciting prayers. In the case of the Islamic Education Group (TPA), this is done through daily routines involving reciting prayers, memorizing short verses, and singing Islamic children's songs. In conclusion, the implementation of religious character values for young children can be integrated into the learning activities and further developed through self-improvement and character building for young children in their daily lives.

Abstract

Strategi pengajaran yang efektif sangat dibutuhkan untuk membantu anak usia dini mempertahankan konsentrasi mereka selama proses belajar. Guru memegang peranan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan merancang aktivitas yang mampu menarik minat serta menjaga konsentrasi anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tentang strategi pembelajaran langsung dan tidak langsung terhadap konsentrasi belajar anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui tekhnik pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara dan dokumentasi. Kesimpulan hasil penelitian bahwa strategi pembelajaran langsung efektif dalam meningkatkan konsentrasi anak usia dini melalui interaksi personal, penggunaan alat peraga konkret, dan keterlibatan aktif anak dalam proses belajar. Guru dapat membantu anak-anak lebih fokus dan terlibat lebih banyak dalam pengalaman belajar dengan menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung dan memberikan respons serta penguatan positif secara langsung. Implementasi strategi pembelajaran tidak langsung oleh guru dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif, mendukung eksplorasi mandiri, dan meningkatkan kemampuan anak untuk berkonsentrasi. Strategi pembelajaran tidak langsung ini akan memungkinkan anak untuk belajar dengan cara yang alami dan menyenangkan, sekaligus mengembangkan keterampilan kemandirian dan pemecahan masalah.

Abstract

Peran manajerial kepala sekolah melibatkan serangkaian tugas dan tanggung jawab yang terkait dengan pengelolaan dan pengendalian operasional sekolah. Melalui kepemimpinan yang kuat dan manajemen yang efisien, kepala sekolah berperan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan memberikan pengalaman pendidikan yang bermakna bagi semua siswa. Kemampuan manajerial kepala sekolah adalah serangkaian keterampilan dan kompetensi yang diperlukan untuk mengelola dan memimpin sekolah secara efektif. Kemampuan ini mencakup berbagai aspek dari perencanaan strategis hingga pelaksanaan operasional sehari-hari, serta pengembangan dan pemberdayaan staf. Tujuan dilakukanya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran kepala sekolah sebagai perencana dan pemimpin di TK ABA 05 Kecamatan Kencong Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, melalui tekhnik pengumpulan data yang diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa kepala sekolah memiliki peran yang sangat vital sebagai perencana dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan, sebagai perencana, kepala sekolah harus mampu merumuskan visi dan misi sekolah, menetapkan tujuan jangka pendek dan jangka panjang, serta mengembangkan strategi untuk mencapainya. Kepala sekolah memiliki peran yang krusial sebagai pemimpin dalam pengelolaan lembaga pendidikan, sebagai pemimpin, kepala sekolah harus mampu mengarahkan, menginspirasi, dan memotivasi seluruh warga sekolah untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan

Abstract

The research aims to develop an electronic school report (e-report/e-rapor) to assess the achievement of competencies profiling Pancasila students. The development of this e-report facilitated the needs of schools that did not have an assessment system for the implementation of the Enhancing Pancasila Student Profiles Project (EP4). The e-report was developed in accordance with the Decision Letter of the Education Standards, Curriculum, and Assessment Agency (BSKAP) number 009. The development of this e-report used the development method approach, commonly known as Research and Development (R&D). To test the feasibility of the developed e-report, it was evaluated based on two aspects: content validity and effectiveness. The respondents in this research were 30 teachers and/or school principals. The data analysis technique for analyzing data from the interactive e-report development process was descriptive to explain the process and the effectiveness for the product. The results of the e-report validity on the accuracy of dimensions and elements were as follows: 54% very accurate, 40% accurate, and 6% fairly accurate. Meanwhile, the accuracy of the assessment was 54% very accurate, 43% accurate, and 3% fairly accurate. The accuracy of other components was 57% very accurate, 37% accurate, and 6% fairly accurate. The e-report effectiveness on ease of use was as follows: 50% very easy, 47% easy, and 3% fairly easy. Then, the e-report attractiveness was 43% very attractive, 47% attractive, and 10% fairly attractive. The conformity of appearance with the EP4 concept was 60% very suitable, 34% suitable, and 6% fairly suitable. As a result, the e-report was recommended in assessing the implementation of EP4.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian kegiatan sosialisasi bullying ini adalah salah satu program kerja KKN Universitas Muhammadiyah Jember Kelompok 22, yang merupakan salah satu program kegiatan dari mahasiswa KKN-T Kelompok 22 di Desa Grobogan, sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada siswa dan siswi tentang pengertian bullying beserta dampak dan penyebabnya. Hal ini dikarenakan banyak terjadi di lingkungan pendidikan terutama satu masalah yang sangat penting untuk dilakukan pencegahan adalah tindakan bullying. Sehingga melalui sosialisasi ini dapat memberikan pegertian bahwa tindakan bullying memiliki dampak yang buruk bagi mereka, memperkuat kesadaan tentang dampak negative dari bullying, baik secara emosional maupun psikologis terhadap korban bullying. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan di Sekolah Dasar 03 Grobogan, masih banyak kasus tindakan bullying setiap tahun ke tahun. Maka perlu dilakukan upaya pencegahannya yakni mengadakan sosialisasi terkait pencegahan perilaku bullying. Kegiatan sosialisasi Tindakan perilaku bullying di SD Negeri 03 Grobogan dilakukan dalam tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, perencanaan, dan evaluasi. Target tujuan sosialisasi ini yakni seluruh siswa-siswi kelas I sampai VI. Respon dari seluruh ssiwa SD Negeri 03 Grobogan juga cukup baik, dimana mereka antusias dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam menyimak materi yang diberikan. Dengan demikian, dengan adanya pengetahuan dan informasi terkait tidakan perilaku bullying kepada siswa-siswi tidak terjadi lagi menimbulkan perilaku tindakan bullying.=
