The results reveal fluctuations in the number of publications, ranging from a peak of 786 in 2018 to only 70 in 2023, with a significant spike in 2017. The research network involves three clusters of authors, highlighting diversity in the field. Overlay Visualization demonstrates strong author relationships, with some forming influential networks. The Indonesian Institute of Science had a notable impact on many writers. Density Visualization identifies active authors and Co-occurrence analysis reveals four keyword clusters, with “Islam” and “Indonesia” as primary foci. A trend shift occurred in 2020, with new keywords gaining prominence such as “Education, Women, Politic, and Law”. These data shows that research on the theme of the ulama's struggle still has many opportunities.Conclusions. Abstract

The socialization of Indonesian history to the students of the elementary schools in Pesisir Selatan Regency was aimed at providing an introduction to the country's history to such students, from the period of colonization to the time of Indonesian independence. The activity's implementation method includes modeling stories, quizzes, and posters through an ethical and aesthetic approach. The target of this activity was the students of Elementary School 39 Pasar Gompong and those of Elementary School 18 Tebing Tinggi, Nagari Kambang Barat, Lengayang, Pesisir Selatan, Sumatra Barat. This introduction to the history of Indonesia is essential, considering that elementary school students are generations of successors who should know their people's history. The implementation consists of three phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The phase one was an approach to the partner school. The phase two was implementing activities in both schools by presenting Indonesian history material in classes 4 and 6. The last phase was an evaluation which was conducted along the socialization. Through the activities, the students were enthusiastic about taking part in historical introduction activities, starting with introduction implementation and ending with evaluation. The results of this activity showed that the students were able to understand the development of Indonesian nation through Indonesia's history, especially the struggle of Indonesian national heroes.

Abstract

The Rempang community's resistance to the Rempang Eco City National Strategic Project (PSN) is not just a simple rejection, but rather a resistance to fight for and defend the basic rights, cultural identity, and legality of the village they have occupied for generations from generation to generation which certainly has the history and culture of the village. Development for the progress that brings prosperity to the community should be built on a foundation of justice and community participation, especially those directly affected by the development, not the sacrifice and eviction of villages that have been occupied for a long time and have a cultural identity and history within them. The Rempang community supports development if the development does not harm the community, for example, development that can advance Rempang Island by utilizing and advancing the natural environment that makes Rempang Island more famous for its local wisdom.

Abstract

This study aims to critically examine the development of the Sang Nila Utama Museum in Riau through a Cultural Studies perspective. The primary focus of the study is to analyze the forms, factors, impacts, and meanings of the museum's development. This descriptive qualitative research employed participant observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis combined deconstruction theory to dismantle the museum's dominant narrative and cultural development theory to understand the museum's role as an agent of cultural transformation. The results indicate that the development includes updating historical narratives, repositioning collections, aesthetic improvements, and the integration of digital technology (virtual tours, interactive media, and QR codes). This development is influenced by both internal factors (limited human resources and funding) and external factors (technological advancements and low public interest). Positive impacts identified include increased visitor interest and the opening of educational spaces, while negative risks include potential commercialization and narrative imbalance. Fundamentally, this development shifts the museum's role from a passive collection space to an inclusive and critical space for discussion and the production of meaning, relevant to the Malay-Riau cultural identity.
