Abstract

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pendidikan tinggi telah membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap praktik penulisan ilmiah mahasiswa, khususnya dalam penyusunan kerangka artikel, pengembangan ide, serta penyempurnaan struktur bahasa akademik. Meskipun demikian, penggunaan AI yang tidak disertai pemahaman konseptual dan kesadaran etika akademik berpotensi menimbulkan pelanggaran integritas ilmiah serta melemahkan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi AI dan kesadaran integritas akademik mahasiswa tingkat akhir Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dayanu Ikhsanuddin dalam memanfaatkan AI secara bijak dan bertanggung jawab. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 25 Oktober 2025 dengan melibatkan 20 mahasiswa sebagai peserta. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyadaran mengenai konsep dan batasan AI dalam konteks akademik, pelatihan praktik penggunaan AI sebagai alat bantu penulisan, serta refleksi kritis terhadap hasil yang dihasilkan sistem. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai fungsi AI sebagai alat pendukung, bukan pengganti proses intelektual, serta meningkatnya kesadaran untuk melakukan verifikasi dan evaluasi terhadap setiap output yang digunakan dalam karya ilmiah. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi dalam membangun budaya akademik yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi digital tanpa mengabaikan prinsip kejujuran ilmiah dan kemandirian berpikir.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh gadget terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Waloindi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Waloindi tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 25 siswa. Sampel sebanyak 25 siswa yang merupakan keseluruhan populasi. Insrumen penelitian ini menggunakan wawancara (interview), dokumentasi, dan angket (kuesiner). Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji linearitas, uji heteroskedastistas, uji autokorelasi, dan analisis regresi sederhana. Dari nilai korelasi dan determinasi dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penggunaan gadget mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dengan prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs) Waloindi tahun ajaran 2021/2022 sebesar 0,626 dan dengan nilai determinasi sebesar 39,2. Sedangkan berdasarkan nilai sig, terbukti signifikan dengan diketahui bahwa  nilai sig. 0,001 < 0,05, sehingga H0 ditolak atau terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara gadget terhadap prestasi belajar matematika sebesar sebesar 39,2.

Abstract

Being a teacher is not only about mastering the subject matter to be delivered, but more than that. Teachers must have quite a lot of skills to create a more effective and quality learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the positive influence between the teaching skills of mathematics teachers on the achievement of students of SMK Negeri 2 Baubau class XI Motorcycle Department. This type of research is quantitative research with Ex Post Facto method. The population in this study were all students of SMK Negeri 2 Baubau grade XI Motorcycle Department which amounted to one class consisting of 20 students. While the sampling technique uses saturated sampling. The teacher teaching skills instrument that researchers used in this study was a questionnaire. While the achievement instrument in this study is the results of students' daily test scores. Based on the results of the study, the regression equation Y = 26.302 + 0.450X was obtained. Thus it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between the teaching skills of mathematics teachers on the achievement of students of SMK Negeri 2 Baubau class XI Motorcycle Department.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of Means-Ends Analysis strategy on students' mathematical problem solving ability compared to the use of Polya's version of problem solving strategy and to determine the difference between the mathematical problem solving ability of students whose learning uses Means-Ends Analysis strategy and uses Polya's version of learning strategy. This study used a quantitative research approach with the research subjects of seventh grade students at SMPN Satap Palea. The research was conducted using instruments in the form of post-test questions, student response questionnaires. The conclusion of the research results is that there is an effect of student responses to the application of the Means-Ends Analysis learning model in a very good category, this is indicated by a percentage of 90%. While the application of the Polya version of the learning model is categorized as sufficient, this is indicated by a percentage of 73.33%. There is a difference in improving the ability of students who use the Means-Ends Analysis strategy higher than the polya version of the problem solving strategy.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is whether math anxiety and gender the mathematics learning outcomes of the students at SMP 12 Baubau. This research is comparative causal research or ex post facto with regression correlation methid to see the relationship and influence between math anxiety and gender whit students’ math learning outcomes. The population in this study were all 8th grade students at SMP Negeri 12 Baubau, 2023/2024 school year consisting of 3 classes with a total of 88 students. In this study, so the sample of this study was class VIII-C. The instruments used was a questionnaire about students’ math anxiety and mathematics learning outcomes in the form of documentation of  students’ semester test scores. This data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study obtained the conclusion that there is no significant influence influence between math anxiety and gender simultaneously on student learning outcomes. However, there is a reciprocal relationship between (math anxiety) and gender.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Mawasangka in Buton Tengah Regency in the subject of functions through the application of the MMP learning model. This study was a classroom action research with 30 eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 4 Mawasangka as the research subjects. The instruments used in this study were observation sheets and learning outcome tests. The conclusion of this study is that using the MMP learning model in the subject of functions can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the initial test results, which were categorized as sufficient with an average score of 47.58 and a completion rate of 30%. The average mathematics learning score in cycle I was 64.67, and the number of students who achieved a passing score was 60%, which was categorized as good. In cycle II, the average mathematics learning score increased to 74.67, and the number of students who achieved a passing grade was 86.67%. In addition, the observation data in each cycle showed a change in attitude towards a more positive direction, both in terms of attitude towards learning and active participation in assignments and homework

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of Quantum Teaching model on the mathematical conceptual understanding ability of junior high school students in statistics. The low mathematical conceptual understanding, especially in statistics which covers data presentation, measures of central tendency, and measures of dispersion, was identified as the main problem in one of the junior high schools in Baubau City. The Quantum Teaching model through the TANDUR framework is considered capable of creating a conducive, meaningful, and motivating learning environment. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of two classes, each comprising 32 students: the experimental class received Quantum Teaching, while the control class received conventional instruction. The data collection instrument was a 10-item essay test measuring mathematical conceptual understanding, administered as both pretest and posttest. Learning progress was analyzed using the normalized gain score (N-gain) and an independent t-test at a 5% significance level. Results showed that the mean N-gain of the experimental class (0.63; medium category) was significantly higher than that of the control class (0.35; low-medium category), with t = -6.321 and p = 0.000 < 0.05. It is concluded that the Quantum Teaching model has a significant positive effect on the mathematical conceptual understanding of junior high school students in statistics in Baubau City.
