Abstract

This PKM activity focuses on the development and implementation of innovative teaching methods for renewable energy education at SDN 201 Sukaluyu, Bandung. Acknowledging the importance of early exposure to the concept of sustainability, this community service activity explores effective pedagogical approaches to engage elementary school students in understanding renewable energy sources, technology, and its significance for a sustainable future. This PKM activity investigates the impact of combining hands-on activities, project-based learning, and interactive learning experiences, which potentially includes the integration of renewable energy systems within the school environment. By analyzing student engagement, knowledge acquisition, and attitude changes towards renewable energy and sustainable practices, this PKM activity aims to contribute to the development of effective teaching strategies for integrating renewable energy education into the elementary school curriculum, foster environmental awareness, and promote a future generation equipped to tackle global energy challenges. The stages of the method carried out in this community service program are socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring, evaluation, and program sustainability. The community service program (PKM) aimed at developing renewable energy teaching methods at SDN 201 Sukaluyu, Bandung City, successfully introduced the concept of renewable energy to fifth-grade students. Teaching aids and prototypes introduce students to hydroelectric power plants (HEPP), wind power plants (WPP), and solar power plants (SPP) through a series of socialization activities, training, and technology implementation. The evaluation results show that although 70% of students have heard about renewable energy, 60% of them still do not fully understand its benefits. The conclusion of this community service program indicates that this activity can enhance students' understanding of renewable energy.

Abstract

Indonesia is in the process of transforming its energy system to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and lower greenhouse gas emissions. This effort aligns with SDGs 7 and the national target of achieving a 23% share of renewable energy shared by 2025. However, low community energy literacy remains a significant obstacle, as seen in Cileles Village, Sumedang, which has considerable but underutilized solar energy potential. This community service program aimed to strengthen energy literacy and awareness of renewable energy by providing education on solar cell technology through a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. This activities included preparation, interactive learning, practical demonstrations using a solar cell model, and evaluation through pre- and post-tests. Implemented in August 2025 with 30 participants, the program successfully increased understanding of clean energy and encouraged interest in renewable energy adoption.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has profoundly influenced various sectors, including government operations and economic frameworks. This research specifically examines Cisontrol Village in Ciamis, West Java, which encounters numerous challenges in promoting its regional potential and efficiently managing population administration. The inefficiencies in the administration of population data and business permits have particularly hindered the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) within the village. To tackle these challenges, this research proposes a comprehensive web-based population administration information system designed to streamline the application process for the Business Permit for Trade (SIUP) specifically for MSME operators. The implementation of this system is aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of administrative tasks, allowing residents easy access to the information they need. By providing a user-friendly platform, local entrepreneurs can navigate the complexities of the permitting process with greater ease, thereby reducing the bureaucratic burden often associated with starting and running a business. Preliminary results indicate that good archiving practices within the system will support the delivery of precise and accurate information, ultimately improving the quality of administrative services in Cisontrol Village. This enhancement is expected to expedite various administrative processes, which will not only save time for residents but will also contribute to a more favorable business environment. Furthermore, by facilitating local economic development through better administrative practices, the web-based system encourages entrepreneurship and supports the establishment of new businesses. In conclusion, the introduction of this innovative information system holds the potential to significantly improve administrative efficiency and promote sustainable economic growth, positively impacting the overall quality of life for the residents of Cisontrol Village.

Abstract

Global environmental issues, particularly the energy crisis and climate change, require an active and sustainable educational response. Early Childhood Education (ECE) plays a crucial role in fostering environmental awareness and shaping values and understanding of renewable energy from an early age. In coastal areas like Pangandaran, Indonesia—which has abundant potential for environmentally friendly energy sources such as solar, wind, and biomass—it is essential for communities to begin utilizing these resources sustainably. However, the implementation of this concept in ECE settings remains limited, mainly due to inadequate facilities and a lack of suitable teaching methods. As a strategic measure, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek), through the Education Standards, Curriculum, and Assessment Agency (BSKAP), issued a regulation in 2023 mandating the integration of climate change issues into curricula at all educational levels, including ECE. This policy also supports teacher training programs to enable structured teaching of green energy topics. The main challenge lies in delivering complex material in a way that aligns with the developmental stage of early childhood, which is characterized by exploration and emotional learning. This study explores the effectiveness of a digital-based approach in supporting ECE teachers in Pangandaran by utilizing platforms such as Google Spaces and Learning Management Systems (LMS). This approach is designed to help teachers present renewable energy concepts in a fun, interactive, and age-appropriate manner, thereby enhancing both teachers' and students' understanding and active engagement with environmental issues.

Abstract

Gangguan sampel atau sample disturbance dalam uji tanah di laboratorium merupakan masalah karena dampaknya yang signifikan terhadap hasil pengujian dan dapat memengaruhi desain geoteknik serta fondasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis hasil penelitian terdahulu terkait berbagai metode sampling dan uji laboratorium untuk memahami karakteristik dan sifat-sifat sampel uji yang mengalami gangguan beserta hasil pengujiannya. Selain itu, penelitian ini bertujuan memahami perkembangan penanggulangan gangguan tersebut hingga saat ini, sehingga mendorong para peneliti untuk terus mengembangkan metode dan peralatan uji yang dapat mengurangi dampak gangguan sampel seminimal mungkin. Metode penelitian melibatkan tinjauan literatur selama 70 tahun terakhir, dan beberapa hal dapat disimpulkan: Pertama, gangguan pada sampel bisa terjadi selama pengambilan sampel dan uji laboratorium, termasuk metode sampling, ukuran sampel, serta alat uji. Kedua, dampak paling krusial dari gangguan sampel adalah perubahan pada kekuatan geser, baik dalam kondisi statis maupun dinamis, serta sifat kompresibilitas tanah. Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, penelitian ini mengusulkan penggunaan kombinasi uji laboratorium dan pengujian in-situ sebagai alternatif efektif untuk mengurangi gangguan dan memvalidasi hasil uji laboratorium
