Abstract

Technological advances are developing rapidly at this time, the need for efficiency, security and automation in the office environment has become a top priority. One innovation that answers this need is technology for office gates, the need for a more sophisticated and efficient access control system is increasingly urgent. The problem that occurs, namely intrusions outside working hours, means that unknown individuals can easily enter the office area without permission. Additionally, cases involving lost employee ID cards, which were used by others to access designated areas, underscore the need for identification systems that are more secure and difficult to abuse. The office gate security system utilizes Webcam Camera input, RFID Reader, Fingerprint Sensor, Ultrasonic and Esp8266, Web, Servo, LED, LCD and Buzzer output. The Webcam camera can take pictures and save them on the web and the RFID Reader detects E-KTP, the Fingerprint sensor detects fingerprints and then the LCD displays information that registration is successful. This tool is processed with an Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller as a connection.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the problem-based learning situation in the implementation of the 2013 SMK curriculum and the learning situation after the implementation of Problem Based Learning (PBM). The approach of this research is a quantitative research using the ex post facto method and the data analyzed descriptively. The study was conducted in four majors at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The population sample in this study was the educator who demonstrated the implementation of PBM in the implementation of the 2013 Curriculum. Information was collected with interview techniques and questionnaires by conducting Focused Group Discussions. Analyzing the data is done descriptively. This study obtained results, namely: a). PBM is so potentially carried out in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in SMK. The stability of educators in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum is classified as very high, with an average value of around 95 and an achievement score of 72%. The accuracy of the implementation of learning in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum is classified as a very high category with an average of 153 and an achievement score of 79%. Of the 100 teachers or educators, 64 of them suggested that PBM was feasible to be implemented in all subjects in the implementation of the 2013 curriculum and b). PBM has been proven to add value to students' skills in terms of competencies, attitudes, and general and specific knowledge.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the popular drinks. The Indonesian people drink coffee is a tradition to celebrate togetherness values and strengthen ties of brotherhood between communities. Along with high mobility society, everything is demanded to be instant and efficient. Coffee drinkers can come from various professions, ages and social background. The automatic coffee maker designed to address people's needs for coffee with an efficient serving process. Input on this design are coffee, milk and sugar where these ingredients can be processed into several types drinks that can be chosen are based on coffee. Design and construction of a microcontroller and android based coffee making equipment devices used to support the system these include the Arduino Mega 2560 as a microcontroller, servo and DC motor as an actuator, DS18B20 sensor as a water temperature reader, solenoid valve to drain the flow, and LCD for displays the coffee selection menu. The payment medium used in this coffee drink making tool is QR-code as practical, easy and responsive transaction. This tool could be an alternative that can be implemented by coffee drinkers or enthusiasts can enjoy coffee at the bus stop instantly just by using their personal Android.

Abstract

Inisiatif "Sosialisasi dan Pelatihan Penggunaan Aplikasi Digital untuk Meningkatkan Efisiensi Kerja di Komunitas Lokal" bertujuan untuk memberdayakan masyarakat di Jorong Cingkariang, Kabupaten Agam, dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital dalam aktivitas sehari-hari. Program ini berfokus pada peningkatan kemampuan masyarakat dalam menggunakan tiga aplikasi utama: Google Docs untuk kolaborasi dokumen, WhatsApp Group untuk komunikasi antar organisasi, dan Google Calendar untuk pengelolaan waktu. Pelatihan ini berlangsung selama tiga bulan dengan pendekatan hibrida yang menggabungkan pendampingan langsung di lapangan dan modul pembelajaran daring interaktif. Peserta berasal dari berbagai kelompok masyarakat, termasuk kelompok tani, PKK, karang taruna, dan pengurus organisasi lokal. Program ini menerapkan pendekatan partisipatif, di mana peserta tidak hanya menerima materi tetapi juga aktif terlibat dalam praktik langsung. Setiap modul dirancang dengan tahapan pembelajaran yang jelas, dimulai dari pengenalan fitur dasar, simulasi kasus nyata, hingga penerapan dalam kegiatan organisasi mereka. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pre-test dan post-test yang menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta sebesar 78% dalam penggunaan aplikasi-aplikasi tersebut. Selain itu, pemantauan setelah pelatihan mengungkapkan bahwa 85% peserta telah menerapkan keterampilan baru mereka dalam kegiatan kelompok. Dampak dari program ini terlihat pada meningkatnya efisiensi kerja berbagai organisasi lokal. Kelompok tani dapat menyusun proposal bantuan dengan lebih cepat, PKK mampu mengkoordinasikan kegiatan dengan lebih efektif melalui grup WhatsApp, dan karang taruna dapat mengelola jadwal acara dengan lebih terstruktur. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan infrastruktur internet di beberapa daerah dan resistensi dari anggota masyarakat yang kurang akrab dengan teknologi. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model untuk pengembangan kapasitas digital masyarakat pedesaan dengan penyesuaian sesuai dengan karakteristik lokal

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan teknologi Big Data dan Machine Learning dalam mengoptimalkan penyelenggaraan bantuan sosial di masyarakat. Bantuan sosial menjadi penting dalam mendukung kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat, namun sering kali menghadapi tantangan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam penyaluran. Teknologi Big Data memungkinkan pengumpulan dan analisis data besar secara cepat, sementara Machine Learning dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi pola penyaluran yang lebih efisien. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, pengumpulan data, analisis data, pengembangan model Machine Learning, evaluasi, dan validasi. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat menghasilkan sistem yang lebih efisien dalam penyaluran bantuan sosial, meningkatkan kepuasan penerima manfaat, dan menjadi rujukan untuk pengembangan kebijakan publik terkait manajemen sosial.

Abstract

Diperlukan media pembelajaran yang lebih efisien dan efektif untuk memotivasi dan membangkitkan semangat belajar peserta didik di kelas untuk menyampaikan materi. Salah satunya melalui pembelajaran berbasis ICT. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas penerapan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK di kelas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif, dimulai dengan analisis dekomposisi yang khas dan diakhiri dengan gagasan menawarkan pemahaman dan penjelasan untuk deskripsi hasil. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: 1) proses pembelajaran dapat menjadi lebih menarik ketika menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK, memotivasi peserta didik untuk mencintai ilmunya; 2) Seorang guru dapat lebih efektif dan efisien dalam menyajikan materi pelajaran sehingga peserta didik mendapatkan manfaat dari media yang sangat baik dan akurat; 3) roses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media dapat dibuat lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the suitability of flipped classrooms, a 21st-century learning method, with the curriculum implemented in Indonesia in 2013. The methodology used in this research is qualitative, using a literature study as the data collection method. Data collection was conducted with the main object of surveying relevant literature. Data analysis in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study show that flipped classroom learning follows the principles of learning in the 2013 curriculum. Evidenced by the implementation process, which is more student-centered. In addition, activities such as observing, questioning, gathering information, associating, analyzing, and communicating can be implemented in a technology-enhanced classroom to develop skills appropriate for the 21st century.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an Army infantry helmet system integrated with a Battlefield Management System (BMS) to support real-time monitoring of soldier conditions and combat strategies. The system integrates various sensors, including heart rate monitoring, hazardous gas detection (MQ-135), gyroscopic orientation (MPU6050), digital compass (HMC5883L), and GPS positioning (NEO-6M), managed by Arduino and NodeMCU microcontrollers. Sensor data is transmitted using LoRa communication modules and forwarded via the MQTT protocol to a monitoring system built with Grafana for real-time interactive dashboard visualization. The system is designed to provide periodic data on soldiers’ physical conditions and surrounding environments, aiming to enhance the speed and accuracy of strategic decisions on the battlefield. The prototype was tested in a simulated environment with a focus on sensor accuracy, transmission stability, and visualization reliability, showing promising results as an initial step toward IoT-based military monitoring and protection systems.

Abstract

The increasing public awareness of the importance of health and fitness has led to a growing number of gym users. This condition requires the availability of safe and efficient supporting facilities, one of which is a secure locker system for storing personal belongings. Conventional locker systems that rely on physical keys have several weaknesses, such as the risk of lost keys, potential misuse, and difficulties in real-time monitoring. This research aims to design and implement a biometric-based digital locker system for securing belongings in gym facilities using a web-based platform. The proposed system utilizes fingerprint authentication as the main access key, supported by a load cell sensor to measure the weight of stored items, a reed switch sensor to detect forced opening attempts, and a buzzer as a warning alarm. All user data and locker activity records are managed through a website developed using PHP and MySQL, integrated with a microcontroller to enable real-time monitoring by gym administrators. The results of this research indicate that the system is able to improve security, enhance locker management efficiency, and provide greater convenience for users through a modern and centralized authentication mechanism. The implementation of this system is expected to minimize the risk of item loss and increase user trust in gym facilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah aplikasi mobile yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi manajemen dan produktivitas pada usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM). Banyak UMKM menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan operasional, administrasi, serta pemasaran yang menghambat pertumbuhan dan keberlanjutan usaha. Aplikasi mobile yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini memiliki berbagai fitur yang mendukung manajemen usaha, termasuk pengelolaan inventaris, pencatatan keuangan, analisis kinerja usaha, serta pemasaran digital. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi mobile, aplikasi ini diharapkan dapat membantu pelaku UMKM dalam memantau dan mengoptimalkan proses bisnis secara lebih efisien dan efektif, meningkatkan daya saing usaha, serta mempercepat perkembangan usaha menuju pasar yang lebih luas.
