Abstract

The problem in this study is that the application of the Cooperative learning learning model has not been implemented optimally so that student learning outcomes in the Basic Competencies of Understanding Occupational Safety and Health and the Environment (K3LH) in Building Work do not meet the KKM standard of 70. The purpose of this study: (1) To describes the implementation of the learning process by applying the Cooperative Learning learning model. (2) To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in the Basic Competencies of Understanding Occupational Safety and Health and the Environment (K3LH) in Building Work in Class X DPIB SMK Negeri 2 Mandrehe. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Mandrehe with the research subjects being class X students of the Department of Building Modeling and Information Design (DPIB) semester I of the 2022/2023 Academic Year with a total of 12 students. Research instruments (1) Observation sheet, consisting of (a) Student activity observation sheet in the learning process (b) Observation sheet in the learning process of teacher respondents. (2) Student learning outcomes test, and (3) Photo documentation. The results of the study: (1) in the first (first) cycle, the average observation of the learning process (teacher respondents) was 74.99%, (2) the average percentage of observations of students' activeness in the learning process, namely 48.54%, had not reached the target set determined, the average student learning outcomes is 66.89 classified as sufficient category, the percentage of student learning completeness is 41.66%. (2) in cycle II (second) ) the average observation of the learning process (teacher respondents) was 83.92%, (2) the average percentage of observations of students' activeness in the learning process was 812.95% had not reached the target set, the average student learning outcomes, namely 84.19, are classified as good categories, the percentage of student learning completeness is 100%, has reached the set target of 70%. From the research findings above, it can be concluded that applying the Cooperative Learning learning model to the Basic Competencies of Understanding Occupational Safety and Health and the Environment (K3LH) in Building Work can improve student learning outcomes for Class X-DPIB SMK Negeri 2 Mandrehe in the 2022/2023 Academic Year

Abstract

The problem in this study is that the Direct Instruction learning model has not been optimally applied to the Basic Competency of Implementing Wood Construction Work Procedures and student learning outcomes are limited to achieving KKM, namely 70. Research objectives: (1) To describe the learning process by applying the Direct Instruction learning model to Basic Competency Implementing Wood Construction Work Procedures at Lotu 1 State Vocational High School for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, and (2) To find out student learning outcomes in the Basic Competency of Applying Wood Construction Work Procedures at Lotu 1 State Vocational School for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu with research subjects of class X-DPIB students, totaling 22 students. The instruments in this study were observation sheets of the learning process (teacher respondents), observation sheets of student activity, photo documentation, and practical activity tests. With the data analysis technique, namely the observation sheet is processed with a Likert scale and the learning achievement test is carried out by a practical activity test. The results of the study: (1) In the first cycle, the average percentage of observations in the learning process (teacher respondents) was 73.21%, the average percentage of observations of student activity was 48.44%, the average calculated learning outcomes was 66.57 with a percentage of student completeness of 45% and this result has not reached the target that has been set, namely 70. (2) While in cycle II (two) the average percentage of observations in the learning process (teacher respondents) is 85.71%, the average percentage observation of student activity is 83.10%, the average student learning outcomes is 83.10 which is categorized as good with a complete percentage of student learning outcomes of 100% and has reached the set target of 70. From the research findings above it can be concluded that by applying the Direct Instruction learning model in the Basics of Building Construction and Soil Measurement Techniques Basic Competency of Applying Wood Construction Work Procedures can improve student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu.

Abstract

Implementation and Supervision of Construction and Property is an important subject to be mastered by students at school. But in fact, Class XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai experience problems in this study, namely the application of the Cooperative Script learning model has not been optimally implemented. So that student learning outcomes in the basic competency of Understanding the Concept of Implementation and Supervision of Building Construction Work are still relatively low and do not meet the specified Minimum Completeness Criteria is 70. The objectives of this study are (1) To describe the implementation of the learning process by applying the Cooperative Script learning model, ( 2) To find out the increase in student learning outcomes in basic competencies Understanding the Concept of Implementation and Supervision of Building Construction Work in Class XI of the Construction and Property Business Department of SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai through the application of the Cooperative Script learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai with research subjects in class XI students of the Construction and Property Business Department semester I of the 2022/2023 academic year with a total of 12 students. Research instruments (1) Observation sheets consist of (a) observation sheets (Teacher Respondents) (b) Observation sheets of students' activeness in the learning process. (2) Learning achievement test (3) Photo documentation. The results of the study (1) the first cycle (1) the average observation of the learning process (teacher respondents) was 78.12%, (2) the average observation of student activity in the learning process was 60.15% had not reached the specified target, the average -the average student learning outcomes of 67.5% are classified as sufficient categories, the percentage of student learning completeness is 25%. (2) Cycle II (1) the average observation of the learning process (teacher respondents) was 95.31%, (2) the average observation of student activity was 78.9%, the average student learning outcomes was 92.52% classified as very good category, the percentage of student learning completeness is 100%, has reached the set target of 70%. From the results of the research above, it can be concluded that by applying the Cooperative Script Learning Model to the Basic Competency of Understanding the Concept of Implementation and Supervision of Building Construction Work it can improve student learning outcomes for Class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Hiliserangkai in the 2022/2023 Academic Year.

The problem in this study is that the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model has not been optimally applied to the Basic Competence of Applying Concepts and Rules of Types of Lines in Technical Drawings and student learning outcomes are only limited to achieving KKM, namely 70. Research objectives: (1) To describe the learning process by using apply the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model to the Basic Competency of Applying Concepts and Rules of Types of Lines in Technical Drawings at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu for the 2022/2023 Academic Year, and (2) To find out student learning outcomes in the Basic Competency of Applying Type Concepts and Rules -Types of Lines in Technical Drawings at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu with research subjects of class X DPIB, totaling 22 people. The instruments in this study were observation sheets of the learning process (teacher respondents), student activity observation sheets, photo documentation, and student practical activity tests. Research results: (1) In cycle I (First) the average percentage of observations in the learning process (teacher respondents) is 62.50%, the average percentage of observations of student activity is 53.13%, the average learning outcomes is 65.07 with a percentage of student completeness of 45% and this result has not reached the target that has been set, namely 70. (2) While in cycle II (two) the average percentage of observations in the learning process (teacher respondents) is 85.71%, the average – the average percentage of observations of student activity is 82.10%, the average calculated student learning outcomes is 82.99 which is categorized as good with a complete percentage of student learning outcomes of 100% and has reached the set target of 70. From the research findings above it can be concluded that by applying the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model to the subject of Technical Drawing Basic Competency Applying Concepts and Rules of Types of Lines in Technical Drawings and can improve student learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Lotu.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop audio visual media on basic competencies in understanding types of heavy equipment in construction work, which are valid, practical and effective. the type of research used is development research. The development model used is the Addie model, in this Addie model has five steps, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. However, this research was only carried out until the development stage. Implementation, and Evaluation. In the development of audio-visual media, it was validated by several experts, namely, material experts, media experts and language experts and then tested on individual trials, small group trials, field trials and conducting evaluations or assessments of students. Based on the results of the research, the audio-visual media developed has been tested to be very valid by material experts by 97%, media experts by 95% by language experts by 93%, furthermore, audio-visual media is also very practical to use by students with a practicality percentage of 95%. The module is also very effective in use with a completeness percentage of 90%. From the results of the research above, the audio visual media in the basic competencies of understanding types of heavy equipment in construction work at SMK Negeri 1 Sitolu Ori has met the hopes and objectives of the researchers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian: (1) a. Untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan konsep dan aturan jenis-jenis garis pada gambar teknik dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran demonstrasi, dan (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi dasar menerapkan konsep dan aturan jenis-jenis garis pada gambar teknik. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Lotu dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas X-KBK yang berjumlah 22 orang. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu lembar pengamatan proses pembelajaran (responden guru), lembar pengamatan keaktifan siswa, dokumentasi foto, dan tes hasil belajar. Dengan teknik analisis data yaitu lembar observasi diolah dengan skala Likert dan tes hasil belajar dilakukan uji validasi dan uji kelayakan tes. Hasil penelitian: (1) Pada siklus I (Pertama) rata-rata persentase pengamatan dalam proses pembelajaran (responden guru) yaitu 58,33%, rata–rata persentase pengamatan keaktifan siswa yaitu 74,89%, rata-rata hitung hasil belajar siswa yaitu 67,59 dan hasil ini belum mencapai target yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 70. (2) Sedangkan pada siklus II (dua) rata-rata persentase pengamatan dalam proses pembelajaran (responden guru) yaitu 87,49%, rata–rata persentase pengamatan keaktifan siswa yaitu 86,79%, rata-rata hitung hasil belajar siswa yaitu 85,09 yang dikategorikan baik dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa 100% dan telah mencapai target yang ditetapkan yaitu 70. Dari temuan penelitian di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Demonstrasi pada mata pelajaran Menggambar Teknik Kompetensi Dasar Menerapkan Konsep Dan Aturan Jenis-Jenis Garis Pada Gambar Teknik dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Lotu.

Abstract

Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja serta Lingkungan Hidup (K3LH) merupakan mata pelajaran yang penting dikuasai oleh siswa di sekolah. Kenyataannya siswa kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli mengalami permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) belum optimal dilaksanakan. Sehingga Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Kompetensi Dasar Menerapkan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Serta Lingkungan Hidup (K3LH) Pada Pekerjaan Bangunan masih tergolong rendah dan belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum yang ditentukan adalah 70. Tujuan penelitian adalah (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI), (2) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada Kompetensi Dasar Menerapkan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja serta Lingkungan Hidup (K3LH) pada pekerjaan bangunan di Kelas XI DPIB SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI). Jenis penilitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli dengan subjek siswa kelas XI semester Satu dengan jumlah siswa 14 orang. Instrumen penelitian 1. Lembar observasi terdiri dari (a) lembar pengamatan proses pembelajaran (b) Lembar pengamatan keaktifan siswa. 2. Tes hasil belajar 3. Dokumentasi foto. Hasil penelitian Siklus I (a) Rata-rata pengamatan proses pembelajaran sebesar 74,99%, (b) Rata-rata pengamatan keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sebesar 49,99% belum mencapai terget yang ditentukan, (c) Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 63,65% tergolong kategori cukup, (d) Presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 28,57%. Hasil penelitian Siklus II (a) Rata-rata pengamatan proses pembelajaran 82,81%, (b) Rata-rata pengamatan keaktifan siswa sebesar 76,11%, (c) Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 79,30% tergolong kategori baik, (d) Presentase ketuntasan belajar siswa sebesar 100%, telah mencapai target yang ditetapkan yaitu 70%. Dari hasil penelitian di atas, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkankan Model Pembelajaran Group Investigation (GI) Pada Kompetensi Dasar  Menerapkan Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja Serta Lingkungan Hidup (K3LH) Pada Pekerjaan Bangunan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa Kelas XI SMK Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar modul pada mata kuliah struktur kayu berbasis PJBL materi sambungan kayu, dengan menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) menggunakan model 4D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan, adapun tahapan dari model tersebut mulai dari (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, dan (4) Disseminate. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data analisis kebutuhan, kelayakan produk oleh validator ahli materi dan ahli media, dan penilaian produk oleh mahasiswa sebagai pengguna. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian dilakukan mulai dari bulan Mei- Juni 2024. Hasil dari pengembangan produk adalah bahan ajar modul. Hasil validasi dari ahli media dengan nilai validasi sebesar 75,30 (skala 100) menyatakan modul dapat digunakan dengan kriteria validasi layak. Hasil validasi dari ahli materi menyatakan modul dapat digunakan dengan revisi dengan nilai validasi 72,00 (skala 100) kriteria validasi layak. Pada penilaian produk oleh mahasiswa didapatkan hasil rata-rata skor sebesar 4,32 (skala 5) dengan kategori sangat baik dan hasil data uji coba terbatas mendapatkan peningkatan nilai rata – rata, yaitu nilai pre-test 59,50 (skala 100) dan post-test 77,50 (skala 100). Penilaian yang diberikan cenderung konsisten sehingga validitasnya dapat dipertanggungjawabkan dan bahan ajar modul layak digunakan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran CTL (Contekstual Teaching and Learning) terhadap berpikir kritis siswa pada materi spesifikasi bahan - bahan perkerasan jalan kelas XI DPIB. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis analisis data analisis regresi linier sederhana. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan  pada kelas XI DPIB di SMK Negeri 1 Lotu pada materi spesifikasi bahan - bahan perkerasan jalan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran CTL (Contekstual Teaching and Learning) terhadap berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linier sederhana diperoleh persamaan regresi sederhana Y = 41.207  + 0,550 X, hal ini dapat diartikan model pembelajaran CTL (Contekstual Teaching and Learning) memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis maka diperoleh nilai dari thitung = 2.495 > ttabel = 2,179, dapat disimpulkan Ho akan ditolak sedangkan Ha akan diterima jadi dalam penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan Model (Contekstual Teaching  and Learning)  terhadap berpikir kritis siswa, dengan sumbangan koefisien determinanasi sebesar 34,2%.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of soft skills and hard skills of students in the Building Engineering Education Program on job readiness in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. In an increasingly competitive job market, technical abilities (hard skills) and interpersonal skills (soft skills) are keys to success. Hard skills encompass technical abilities acquired through formal education, while soft skills involve interpersonal abilities, communication, and time management. This research employs a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis to measure the impact of both types of skills on students' job readiness. Data were collected through questionnaires from final semester students of the Building Engineering Education Program at Nias University. The analysis results indicate that both soft skills and hard skills positively and significantly influence students' job readiness. These findings underscore the importance of integrating soft skills and hard skills in preparing students to meet the demands of the digital era job market.
