Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan modul pembelajaran berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada materi gaya batang rangka sederhana di SMK Negeri 1 Sogaeadu serta menguji kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan efektivitasnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation), melibatkan 29 siswa kelas X TKP. Instrumen penelitian meliputi angket validasi ahli (materi, bahasa, dan desain), angket respon siswa dan guru, serta tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan modul memenuhi kriteria sangat layak, dengan skor validasi ahli materi meningkat dari 80% menjadi 100%, ahli bahasa dari 88% menjadi 100%, dan ahli desain dari 80% menjadi 92,73%. Uji kepraktisan memperoleh persentase 96% (perorangan), 96,30% (kelompok kecil), dan 95,56% (lapangan), seluruhnya termasuk kategori sangat praktis. Uji efektivitas menunjukkan ketuntasan belajar 100% dengan nilai rata-rata 85,86%. Dengan demikian, modul berbasis PBL ini dinyatakan sangat layak, praktis, dan efektif, serta berpotensi menjadi alternatif inovatif dalam pembelajaran vokasional yang relevan dengan tuntutan Kurikulum Merdeka dan kebutuhan industri konstruksi.

Abstract

Concrete compressive strength analysis is an important step in the design and manufacture of quality concrete. Selecting the right quality local aggregates, and conducting accurate aggregate testing, can optimise the strength of the concrete produced. In Hilisalo'o Village, Sitolu Ori Sub-district, there are many local aggregates in the form of stone and sand. This study aims to determine the compressive strength value of concrete using local aggregates in Bogali River, Hilisalo'o Village, Sitolu Ori Subdistrict. The method used in this research is experimental research. Based on the results of the 14-day-old concrete compressive strength test, the compressive strength value of concrete using local aggregates in Bogali River, Hilisalo'o Village, Sitolu Ori Subdistrict has a different average compressive value based on the working method, namely material (sand, gravel, cement, and water) without control (unwashed material) has a compressive strength value of 119.07 kg/cm2 (K-119 or 9.88 Mpa), material (sand, gravel, cement, and water) with control (washed material) has a compressive strength value of 180.48 kg/cm2 (K-180 or 14.98 Mpa) material (sand, crushed stone, cement, and water) without control (unwashed material) has a compressive strength value of 167.30 kg/cm2 (K-167 or 13.89 Mpa), and material (sand, crushed stone, cement, and water) with control (washed material) of 209.83 kg/cm2 (K-209 or 17.42 Mpa).  The results of the compressive strength test show that the materials (sand, gravel, cement and water) with the contract.

Abstract

Education is essentially a process to develop students' potential comprehensively, including knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values. Teachers play a central role in the success of education, not only as deliverers of material but also as managers of learning. One of the important competencies that teachers must possess is creativity. Teacher creativity is defined as the ability to present new ideas, varied learning methods, and innovative strategies that are able to adapt to the needs of students. The goal of teacher creativity is to create learning that is interesting, motivating, and encourages optimal student learning outcomes. The research method used a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The research subjects were 21 grade XII students majoring in Building Modeling and Information Design (DPIB). Data were obtained through questionnaires for the teacher creativity variable, and documentation for the learning outcome variable. The data analysis technique used simple linear regression. The results of the study showed a positive and significant influence between teacher creativity and student learning outcomes. The simple regression equation obtained was Ŷ = 43.093 + 0.497X, meaning that every one unit increase in teacher creativity increases learning outcomes by 0.497 points. Hypothesis test (thitung = 3.165 > ttabel = 2.072) with a significant value of 0.005 (<0.05) indicates that the alternative hypothesis is accepted. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 34.5% indicates that teacher creativity contributes to student learning outcomes, while the remaining 65.5% is influenced by other factors outside the study. In conclusion, teacher creativity plays a very important role in improving student learning outcomes, but other factors such as teaching quality, motivation, facilities and infrastructure, and the learning environment also need to be considered to achieve optimal learning outcomes.

Abstract

Di era globalisasi, teknologi digital telah menjadi bagian penting dari kehidupan sehari-hari dan mempengaruhi berbagai sektor, termasuk pendidikan, bisnis, dan sosial. Meskipun teknologi menawarkan banyak peluang, kesenjangan digital masih menjadi tantangan, terutama di daerah terpencil. Pemuda, sebagai agen perubahan, memerlukan literasi digital yang memadai untuk memanfaatkan teknologi secara efektif. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat di PKBM Ziona, di bawah Yayasan Gozena Bangkit Berkarya, bertujuan untuk mengatasi kesenjangan ini melalui ceramah dan pelatihan praktis. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan digital siswa. Siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan berhasil memahami materi mengenai keterampilan digital dan peluang teknologi. Evaluasi melalui kuis dan diskusi kelompok mengungkapkan potensi siswa untuk memanfaatkan teknologi secara produktif. Pelatihan praktis juga menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dalam pengelolaan media sosial dan pembuatan konten digital. Hasil pengabdian ini mencerminkan keberhasilan dalam meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan siswa, yang diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pemberdayaan mereka di era teknologi.

Abstract

The problems faced by students of class X DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Lotu are limited discussion space, difficulty in understanding the material, and low interest in various heavy equipment used in construction, caused by the use of conventional teaching methods. Previous research has shown that Google Classroom is effective in enhancing learning compared to traditional teaching methods. The development of Google Classroom-based learning media is expected to assist students in understanding the various types of heavy equipment used in construction. This research follows the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) using questionnaires, observations, interviews, and tests as research instruments. The validity of this learning media is validated by three validators: media experts (score 75.29%), language experts (score 86.67%), and subject matter experts (score 86%). Based on these assessments, it can be concluded that Google Classroom-based learning media on the subject of various types of heavy equipment in construction are valid and suitable for use. This media is practical in its application and effective in enhancing student learning outcomes. Overall, this research produces learning media that are valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan interaksi sosial dan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pada Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan pada mata kuliah Praktek Kayu dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbantuan Modul. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan tindakan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan, Semester II Tahun Akademik 2019/2020. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 25 mahasiswa Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan yang sedang mengikuti mata kuliah Konstruksi Bangunan. Sumber data berasal dari dosen dan mahasiswa. Data diperoleh melalui angket, tes, observasi, wawancara, dan kajian dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Group Investigation berbantuan Modul dapat meningkatkan interaksi sosial mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Pratek Kayu Semester II Tahun Akademik 2019/2020 dengan persentase ketercapaian interaksi sosial mahasiswa pada siklus I sebesar 75,25% menjadi 82,70% pada siklus II. Prestasi belajar mahasiswa aspek kognitif mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 52% menjadi 76% pada siklus II, sedangkan prestasi belajar aspek afektif mengalami peningkatan sebesar 77,93% pada siklus I menjadi 83,88% pada siklus II.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of learning methods and learning interest on learning outcomes in construction management courses. Conducted research in the Building Engineering Education study program at Nias University. This research method is an experimental method with a 2x2 treatment by level design. Data analysis techniques using (anava) two paths, then continued with the Tuckey test. The results of the study are (1). there are differences in learning outcomes between students who use reciprocal learning methods and students who use discussion learning methods; (2). there is an interaction between learning methods and student learning interests; (3). the learning outcomes of students who use reciprocal learning methods are higher than those who use discussion learning methods in students with high learning interests; (5). the learning outcomes of students who use reciprocal learning methods are lower than those who use discussion learning methods in students with low learning interests.

Abstract

The aim is to develop learning media in class XI-DPIB based on 3D animated videos using SketchUp in the subject of Building Construction and Utilities to understand the Feasibility, Practicality, and Effectiveness of Media Products. This type of research uses the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The instruments used in this research were validation questionnaires for feasibility tests, student response questionnaires for practicality tests, and essay tests to test the effectiveness of learning outcomes. The results of this study are in the form of animated video-based media using SketchUp in the Building Construction and Utilities subject. Very Eligible Criteria based on the assessment of material experts 93%. Based on the assessment of linguists 92%. Based on the design expert's assessment of 90.59%. Practicality The media is categorized as very practical based on 91% individual trials and 93% field trials. The criteria are very effective with an effective percentage of 93% media. So it can be concluded that the 3D animated video-based learning media using SketchUp that was developed is very feasible, practical and effective for use in the learning process. suggestions from researchers (1) for students, it is hoped that the presence of 3D animated video-based media can increase effectiveness and critical thinking in visible image material, (2) for teaching staff it can add innovation in using media (3) for researchers, they can use this research as the next research to determine the feasibility of the product.

Abstract

This study concentrates on crafting a module geared towards project-based learning (PBL) centered on heavy equipment material types. Given the increasing demand for adept heavy equipment operators, it is crucial to employ effective educational strategies to impart pertinent knowledge to learners. Commencing with an exhaustive literature review encompassing PBL, heavy equipment operations, and commonly utilized materials in heavy equipment manufacturing, the research proposes a systematic methodology for module development. This approach incorporates pivotal PBL principles like practical problem-solving, collaboration, and inquiry-based learning. The module's design seamlessly blends theoretical underpinnings with hands-on applications, thereby furnishing learners with practical experiences and opportunities for honing critical thinking and skills. Evaluation of the module's effectiveness is conducted through both qualitative and quantitative means, encompassing pre and post-assessments, student feedback, and performance evaluations. The outcomes underscore the module's efficacy in augmenting learners' comprehension of heavy equipment material types and their application in real-world scenarios. This research contributes to the enhancement of educational methodologies in heavy equipment operations by furnishing a structured framework for deploying PBL modules tailored to specific learning objectives.

Abstract

The purpose of developing learning media in class XI-DPIB Based on Multimedia in the subjects of Basics of Building Construction and Land Measurement Techniques to determine the Feasibility, Practicality, and Effectiveness of Media Products. This type of research uses the ADDIE model (Analize, Design, Develompment, Implementation, Evaluation). The instruments used in this study were validation questionnaires for feasibility tests, student response questionnaires for practicality tests, and test essays for testing the effectiveness of learning outcomes. The results of this research are in the form of animated video-based media in the subjects of Basic Building Construction and Land Measurement Techniques. Very Feasible criteria based on 90% material expert assessment. Based on the assessment of linguists 98%. Based on the expert judgment of 95% Design. Media practicality is categorized as very practical based on 93% individual trials and 93% field trials. The criteria are very effective with a media effective percentage of 93%. So it can be concluded that the multimedia- based learning media developed is very feasible, practical, and effective to be used in the learning process. Suggestions from researchers (1) for students are expected with the existence of multimedia-based media to increase effectiveness and critical thinking in visible image material, (2) for educators can add innovation in using media (3) for researchers, can use this research as the next research to determine the feasibility of the product.
