Abstract

Stock investments in the time of the COVID-19 pandemic have a considerable risk. This happens because of the increasingly uncontrolled movement of stock prices. The potential for steep charts can occur at any time. Sentiment analysis of increasing daily cases of COVID-19 was analyzed to see how much effect it has on stock price movements. This research will analyze stock prices from coal commodities in Indonesia. Researchers choose to discuss coal commodities because, in April 2021, there was a significant increase and highest in November 2021. Because of the data, researchers want to see the influence of some coal companies using selling price data with moderating variables for estimating the stock price. There are 26 coal companies that are listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis will be a check on five companies that have the largest investors. The analysis is also carried out on coal sales price movements. Furthermore, five different coal mining companies were analyzed based on the rate of price changes to new selling prices with variable moderation in Indonesia. Increasing daily cases of COVID-19 being variable moderation. The method used for finding the relationship is a linear regression with a moderating variable. According to the analysis, the increasing daily case of COVID-19 as a moderating variable is enough to affect the relationship between the selling price of coal and the stock price of HRUM.JK and PTBA.JK. In stock price HRUM.JK, there is an increasing adjusted R square from 0.5254 to 0.5451. The same conditions apply to PTBA.JK has increased by 0.4040 to 0.4444.

Abstract

Non-oil and gas exports could be forecasted using exponential smoothing for future periods. This study examines non-oil and gas export data in Indonesia from January 2015 to May 2021, indicating trends and seasonality. Based on the data characteristics, the obtained data were analyzed using Holt's double exponential smoothing method and triple exponential smoothing with multiplicative and additives Holt-Winters. The MAPE for all three models is less than 10%, indicating that the method is very good and could be used to forecast the next period. Using MAPE as a comparison, the best model for non-oil and gas exports is the additive Holt-Winters method triple exponential smoothing, which has the lowest MAPE of any model. The best method was employed to forecast data, making it possible for us to anticipate the pattern of non-oil and gas exports. This forecast data could be used as the basis for policymakers' decision-making. The forecast results using this method indicate that the value of non-oil exports will increase for the next period.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Anemia, Posyandu Siklus Hidup, Remaja  ABSTRACT Adolescents are an age group that is vulnerable to anemia because they have a sedentary lifestyle and unhealthy consumption patterns. Although efforts to prevent anemia have been made by providing blood supplement tablets at schools, the role of posyandu needs to be optimized to prevent the incidence of anemia in adolescents. This service activity is to increase knowledge about preventing anemia in adolescents and optimizing life cycle posyandu services. Community service is carried out through educational activities for health cadres and mothers who have 20 teenagers. There was an increase in knowledge from the pre-test results from a sufficient level of knowledge (60%), to good (80%). The life cycle of posyandu services can be optimized through health education for cadres. Cadres who have taken part in the activity are expected to be able to disseminate information on preventing anemia in teenagers to families with teenage children. Keywords: Anemia, Life Cycle Posyandu, Teenagers

Abstract

Abstract

The Human Development Index (HDI) is an indicator to measure success in improving the quality of human life. The utilization of HDI indicators can be used to classify observations into clusters based on several aspects, such as health, education, and economy. The results of the clusters can be used as a reference for evaluating government policies. This study uses HDI indicator data in the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Province, which consists: Life Expectancy, Average Years of Schooling, Expected Years of Schooling, and Per Capita Expenditure. The outliers were detected in each variable. Therefore the k-medoids clustering method was used in this study because of their robustness on outliers. The clustering results show that there are 4 clusters formed, with each cluster describing a unique character. Cluster 1 describes the condition of the districts in general. Cluster 2 describes the condition of the districts that are one step ahead of others, which are expected to transform into cities in the future. Cluster 3 describes the condition of the district that needs more attention from the government in all sectors because all the HDI indicators are on the lowest value comparing to the other clusters. On the other hand, cluster 4 describes urban areas which have more developed than other areas, in terms of health, education, and economy. The clustering results can be used as a suggestion for evaluating government policies that have been implemented, in order to create structured equitable development based on data and regional characteristics as well.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to determine the optimal combination of beneng taro starch and pineapple peel extract in the formulation of edible films for pineapple dodol packaging. As a semi-moist food,  pineapple dodol is highly susceptible to spoilage, therefore the application of an edible film coating serves  as a strategic solution to extend its shelf life. This research evaluates how varying these components affects the functional characteristics of the film to ensure maximum protection for the product. The experimental design used was a completely randomized factorial design with 2 factors, namely the addition of taro starch (2 g, 3 g, 4 g, 5 g) and the addition of pineapple peel extract (1%, 2%, 3% v/v), with 3 repetitions. Parameters observed were edible film thickness, water vapor transmission rate (WVTR), water resistance, moisture content of the dodol, total plate count (TPC), and sensory aroma evaluation. Data were statistically using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and continued with Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the 5% level. Results indicated an interaction effect between starch and extract on the WVTR  and water resistance of the edible film.  The individuals treatments significantly affected thickness, WVTR, water resistance, moisture, TPC, and aroma scores. The best treatment was P5K3 (5 g of beneng taro starch and 3% pineapple peel extract) with criteria of thickness 0.221 mm, WVTR 6.67 g/m²/hour, percentage swelling water resistance 81.71%, moisture content 20.50%, TPCS 3.52 log CFU/g, and descriptive aroma of pineapple dodol 1.33 (not rancid) lasts until the 6th day.
