Abstract

Proses pertumbuhan dan perkembangan pada makhluk hidup, terutama pada tumbuhan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama, serta membutuhkan pemahaman yang besar untuk mempelajari pertumbuhan berbagai jenis tanaman. Dengan berkembangnya zaman, teknologi bisa dijadikan solusi untuk membantu memecahkan permasalahan tersebut. Teknologi Augmented Reality yang biasanya disebut Augmented Reality dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif, dimana Augmented Reality merupakan teknologi yang menggabungkan dunia nyata dengan dunia virtual. Teknologi juga telah berkembang ditandai dengan Augmented Reality yang kini telah dapat diterapkan di android. Sehingga dengan dibuatnya animasi 3D mengenai pertumbuhan tanaman dan membuatnya dalam bentuk Augmented Reality, merupakan suatu alternatif yang dapat dijadikan media pembelajaran. Animasi ini dibuat menggunakan aplikasi 3Ds Max yang kemudian akan dibuat dalam bentuk Augmented Reality serta dideteksi dengan marker menggunakan library vuforia, yaitu salah satu Augmented Reality library untuk Android. Untuk membantu proses pembuatan Augmented Reality berbasis Android tersebut digunakan aplikasi yaitu Unity 3D dan 3Ds Max. Pembuatan AR pertumbuhan tanaman merupakan cara mempermudah dan mempercepat visualisasi pertumbuhan tanaman, sehingga menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran berbasis Android dimana menampilkan simulasi pertumbuhan berbagai macam tumbuhan secara virtual yang dirancang dengan menggunakan aplikasi Unity 3D dan 3Ds Max.

Abstract

Learning is a communication process between learners, teachers and teaching materials. Communication will not work without the help of a means of delivering messages or media. Currently, the delivery of learning messages from teachers to students still uses teaching aids such as books. Learning media is a teaching aid for teachers to convey teaching material, increase student creativity and increase student attention in the learning process. Learning media can help teachers simplify the process of students' understanding of the delivery of lesson material. Sdit Ath-Thaariq Muhammadiyah Dumai is a private school with A accreditation in the city of Dumai. Sdit Ath-Thaariq Muhammadiyah Dumai in carrying out the learning process is usually given in the form of print media. Learning through print media is still considered less effective and lacks understanding in every student's comprehension and memory. Therefore, we need a learning application media that can change learning from print media to digital media. This research applies the MDLC method which is an appropriate method for designing and developing learning media which is a combination of image, sound, video and animation media. This research produces a learning media application in the form of image, sound, video and 2D animation media which can increase students' interest and enthusiasm in receiving learning at Sdit Ath-Thaariq Muhammadiyah Dumai with a percentage of feasibility of success in learning media through a questionnaire distributed to 26 students and 1 class VI teacher in the subjects of Islamic religious education and character produced a percentage of 86.8462% of the total 100%.

Abstract

PT Sumber Mutiara Indah Perdana is a factory that operates in the industrial sector, namely building a sugar factory located on Jl. Pelintung, Dumai, Riau. Every month the company always gets a project tender to collaborate with anothercompany, the company always gives opportunities to employees who are trusted to handle a project. However, the problem faced by the company is that many employees want to take over a project, because if an employee succeeds and wins the project, the employee will get a bonus, so the company is very confused about choosing who will be the vendor supervisor if they get a new project. The company only uses Excel or a performance evaluation form to assess the performance of employees who will be trusted to handle a project. So far, companies only assess the performance of employees who are close to managers, who always get good ratings, resulting in gaps between employees and becoming an obstacle for companies to be able to develop a company's business. For this reason, a computerized system is needed that can help companies minimize the emergence of jealousy between fellow employees in becoming supervisors of vendors on a project.

Abstract

Penilaian Karyawan Bulanan (Employee of The Month) adalah penilaian yang umum digunakan di banyak Perusahaan sebagai cara untuk menghargai karyawan yang mencapai kinerja sangat bagus. Meskipun memiliki manfaat positif, proses penilaian ini sering kali menjadi subjektif serta tidak efisien. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan objektivitas dan efisiensi dalam penilaian Karyawan Bulanan di PT. Green Planet Indonesia dengan menerapkan metode Multi Objective Optimization By Ratio Analysis (MOORA). Penelitian ini menggabungkan pendekatan MOORA untuk mempertimbangkan berbagai faktor penilaian berupa kriteria yang sudah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menguraikan teori MOORA serta menerapkan metodenya pada studi kasus di PT. Green Planet Indonesia dalam bentuk program. Program ini dibuat melalui pengembangan sistem model Waterfall dan perancangannya menggunakan UML. Program ini dibuat dengan koding menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, serta basis data MySQL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan MOORA dapat meningkatkan ketepatan dalam penilaian Karyawan Bulanan serta lebih mudah dan efisien. Selain itu, dengan melibatkan penilaian pekerjaan di lapangan dalam menentukan bobot kriteria, perusahaan dapat memastikan bahwa penilaian mencerminkan tujuan perusahaan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam mengoptimalkan proses penilaian Karyawan Bulanan di PT. Green Planet Indonesia, serta dapat menjadi panduan bagi perusahaan lain yang ingin meningkatkan transparansi, objektivitas, dan keseimbangan dalam penilaian kinerja karyawan mereka.

Abstract

To overcome the problem of deficiencies in concrete, there are various ways, one of which is the innovation of mixing concrete with fiber which is an innovation to increase the compressive strength of concrete. Fiber concrete is a composite material in which fiber is added to the concrete mixture. The fiber used in this research is Fiberglass. Comparison results of the compressive strength of normal concrete and Fiberglass fiber. Normal concrete aged 7 days has an average compressive strength of 107.76 Kg/Cm2, aged 14 days the average compressive strength is 154.09 Kg/cm2, aged 28 days the average compressive strength is 166.17 Kg/cm2. And for concrete with added 3% Fiberglass fiber, aged 7 days, the average compressive strength is 117.83 Kg/cm2, aged 14 days, the average compressive strength is 148.05 Kg/cm2, aged 28 days, the average compressive strength is 164, 66 Kg/cm2. for concrete with 5% Fiberglass fiber added at age 7 the average compressive strength is 123.87 Kg/cm2, at 14 days the average compressive strength is 146.53 Kg/cm2, at 28 days the average compressive strength is 187.32 Kg/cm2. for concrete with added 9% Fiberglass fiber, aged 7 days, the average compressive strength is 99.70 Kg/cm2, aged 14 days, the average compressive strength is 128.41 Kg/cm2, aged 28 days, the average compressive strength is 149.56 Kg/cm2.

Abstract

Floods caused by natural factors such as sea tides, rainfall, the influence of land characteristics, erosion, sedimentation, decreased river capacity, and insufficient drainage capacity. The aim of this research is to understand the factors that cause flooding and inundation on the Meranti land and sea roads. This drainage planning uses the Gumbel Method. The cause of flooding on the Meranti Land and Sea roads is due to the drainage being unable to accommodate the inundation that occurs, The flood plan discharge obtained exceeds the existing channel cross-sectional discharge, namely Qt (5,012 m3/second) > Qs (4,947 m3/second). The planned cross-sectional capacity of the channel is square, for the channel has b = 3.5 m, h = 1.5 m, w = 0.866 m, From the calculation results, the channel discharge can accommodate the planned flood discharge that occurs, namely Qt (5,012 m3/second) > Qs (6,078 m3/second). For further research at the land Meranti and sea Meranti locations, researchers are expected to calculate the delivered water or tidal water from the sea, whether the channel is able to accommodate water sent from the sea or not.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2022 di SMP Negeri 5 Bathin Solapan, sebagai bentuk pengabdian dalam menjawab permasalahan yang sering muncul dalam pembelajaran jarak jauh khususnya di Duri Kabupaten Bengkalis. Pemilihan SMP Negeri 5 Bathin Solapan sebagai lokasi pengabdian ini didasari oleh lokasi yang relatif dekat dan menjadi prioritas dalam pengembangan pendidikan khususnya di Duri. Pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini diikuti oleh seluruh guru dari berbagai bidang studi di SMP Negeri 5 Bathin Solapan. Tahapan pertama yang dilakukan oleh tim pengabdi adalah melakukan studi pendahuluan dan survey lapangan untuk menganalisis permasalahan yang terjadi, kemudian mencari solusi agar permasalahan yang terjadi dapat teratasi. Tahap kedua pelaksanaan kegiatan, untuk mengetahui keberhasilan dalam tahap kegiatan ini, pengabdi memberikan kuisioner menggunakan google form mengenai pendapat peserta mengenai manfaat, kelebihan dan kekurangan penggunaan google form sebagai media pembelajaran. media untuk memberikan tugas online. Tahap selanjutnya adalah pelatihan untuk menjadikan Google Forms sebagai media pembelajaran jarak jauh. Langkah terakhir adalah menganalisis efektivitas kegiatan pelayanan. Hasil akhir penilaian rata-rata dari peserta menunjukkan bahwa 90,64% peserta setuju bahwa penggunaan google form sebagai media online yang efektif dan dari 11 indikator yang diberikan masing-masing menunjukkan lebih dari 80% peserta memberikan respon positif.

Abstract

The selection of extracurricular activities is an important element in developing students' character, interests, and potential outside of academic activities. However, this selection process is often not carried out systematically, so it risks not being in accordance with individual student preferences. This study aims to design an extracurricular recommendation model based on the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm, one of the intelligent computing methods that is effective in finding optimal solutions. The model considers four main criteria, namely interests, talents, schedules, and student personalities, which are formulated into an objective function. The PSO algorithm is used to find the best combination of extracurricular activities for each individual based on predetermined preference weights. Testing using data from 50 students shows that the PSO algorithm is able to produce recommendations with the best fitness value that is stable at around 4.5 after the 40th iteration, indicating the algorithm's effectiveness in finding optimal solutions. Correlation analysis between variables shows a strong positive relationship between Interests and Talents (correlation coefficient approaching 0.75), while Personality and Schedule contribute unique information with a correlation below 0.2. The results of this study demonstrate that the PSO algorithm approach is proven to be an adaptive and efficient approach that can be used as an effective method to generate personalized and relevant extracurricular recommendations. It can also be used as a tool in decision-making in educational environments and increase student participation and potential development in a more targeted and optimal manner. The test results show that this model is able to provide more personalized and appropriate recommendations compared to conventional methods. Furthermore, the PSO algorithm provides a relatively fast convergence time with high decision accuracy.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu Dinas Pariwisata Kota Dumai dalam melakukan digitalisasi laporan perizinan tempat wisata melalui pengembangan dan penerapan sistem informasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang dipadukan dengan model pengembangan sistem waterfall, meliputi identifikasi masalah, perancangan sistem, pelatihan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Peserta kegiatan terdiri dari 10 aparatur Dinas Pariwisata. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem digital berhasil mempercepat proses perizinan dari 7–14 hari menjadi hanya 2–3 hari, meningkatkan akurasi melalui validasi otomatis, serta memperbaiki transparansi melalui akses data terintegrasi. Selain itu, aparatur dapat mengoperasikan aplikasi secara mandiri setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa digitalisasi laporan perizinan tidak hanya meningkatkan efisiensi, tetapi juga memperkuat inovasi layanan publik pada tingkat pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

The ability to create high-quality, accurate working drawings is one of the most essential skills in industrial construction. Working drawings that do not meet standards can lead to errors in project implementation, increase costs, and extend project timelines. Currently, learning at SMK Negeri 2 Dumai focuses more on mastering design software, with insufficient emphasis on creating working and as-built drawings. As a result, students do not yet have adequate skills to develop complete technical documents that meet industry standards. The purpose of this activity is to help students and teachers clearly understand the activities to be carried out and to commit to actively participating in each stage of the program. The program implementation method includes five main stages: socialization, training, technology application, mentoring and evaluation, and program design. Each stage is carried out systematically to improve students' understanding and skills in creating plan drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings. The results were obtained from 45 students who attended the entire session. Most students could correctly answer basic questions about the technical drawing document cycle. The accompanying teacher stated that the material had never been systematically presented in school before. This activity provides a strong conceptual understanding of the importance of technical drawings in construction projects. Students of SMK Negeri 2 Dumai can now identify the differences in the functions of each technical drawing and understand the roles of the parties involved in its preparation.
