Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is often considered difficult to learn and teach, especially arithmetic operations on integers. This material plays an important role because it is a basic concept that students must master as a foundation for learning subsequent mathematics materials. However, in reality, many students at the junior high school (SMP) level experience difficulties in understanding this material. One of the causes is the use of inappropriate learning media. To overcome this problem, researchers developed an innovation in the form of ZUZO learning e-media that integrates local culture by utilizing traditional Palembang cake as a learning illustration medium. This study aims to determine the level of validity of ZUZO learning e-media based on traditional Palembang cake. The research subjects were 20 respondents from grade VII junior high school students at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Palembang. The e-media development process refers to the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) Development and Research model, but this study was limited to the product development stage. In the analysis stage, researchers conducted direct observations in the field to identify difficulties experienced by students and found that the learning media used was not yet effective. Based on these findings, researchers designed an initial design of learning media that was relevant to students' needs. During the development phase, the ZUZO e-learning media design, based on traditional Palembang cake, was realized using interactive technology. This product was then validated by experts. The validation results showed that the ZUZO e-learning media met the "very valid" criteria. It is suitable for use as a teaching aid for integer arithmetic operations in junior high schools due to its content, appearance, and presentation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah pada materi FPB dan KPK berdasarkan tahapan Polya di kelas V SD di Kelurahan Plaju Ulu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif. Subjek yang diambil dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas Vc SD Negeri 222 Palembang, kelas Vc SD Negeri 224 Palembang, dan kelas VA SD IT Salsabila Palembang. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa soal bentuk uraian yang terdiri dari 6 soal mengenai pemecahan masalah materi FPB dan KPK dengan 3 submateri yaitu Faktor Bilangan, FPB, dan KPK. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari analisis menyatakan seluruh kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pemecahan masalah pada materi FPB dan KPK berdasarkan tahapan Polya di kelas V SD dikategorikan sangat tinggi dengan persentase 81,40%. Pada tahap kesalahan memahami masalah yaitu sebesar 87,57% dengan kategori sangat tinggi, pada tahap menyusun rencana yaitu 73,91% dengan kategori tinggi, kemudian kesalahan pada tahap melaksanakan rencana yaitu 66,85% dengan kategori tinggi, dan kesalahan pada tahap memeriksa kembali yaitu 97,27% dengan kategori sangat tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan angket kecemasan matematika yang valid, praktis, dan reliabel untuk siswa pada pembelajaran materi prisma. Belum adanya tersedia angket kecemasan matematika khusus pada pembelajaran materi prisma merupakan penyebab utama yang melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Kecemasan matematika dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan mereka dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode pengembangan ADDIE. Metode ini terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Data diuji secara teoritis melalui uji pakar, dan diuji secara empirik  melalui uji keterbacaan, uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Data dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif, analisis kualitatif dilakukan terhadap hasil validasi pakar dan hasil uji keterbacaan, dan analisis kuantitatif dilakukan terhadap hasil uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas. Untuk uji kuantitatif diambil sebanyak 73 siswa dari SMPN 1 Air Salek, SMPN 5 Tungkal Jaya, dan SMPN 7 Sungai Lilin. Dari proses pengembangan, dibuat 30 item pernyataan, namun 2 item ternyata tidak valid, sehingga diperbaiki maksud dan redaksinya agar tetap dipakai seluruhnya. Setelah diperbaiki, maka diperoleh 30 pernyataan angket yang mencerminkan kecemasan matematis siswa SMP dalam pembelajaran materi prisma.

Abstract

This research aims to examine how ethnomathematics-based learning impacts students' mathematics learning achievement. Collecting information, sorting, coding, and calculating the Effect Size are the research stages that use this meta-analysis method. From the results of the analysis, it was obtained that the average Size Effect was 0.863 and was included in the high category So it can be concluded that ethnomathematics-based learning applied in mathematics learning has a significant impact. Based on the results of the moderate variable analysis, it is known that ethnomathematics-based learning is best applied at the elementary and secondary school levels and can be used to optimize students' creative thinking abilities, learning outcomes, mathematical communication, mathematical understanding and disposition, as well as problem solving skills.
