Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the key competencies in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning. However, observations indicate that this skill remains low among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Soko, Tulungagung Regency. One contributing factor is the lack of learning materials that accommodate students’ diverse needs, interests, and readiness levels. This study aims to develop Karsa-Nusa digital learning materials based on differentiated instruction to enhance students’ critical thinking skills. The research employed a research and development (R&D) method using a modified Borg and Gall model consisting of ten stages, from preliminary study to product dissemination, with 30 students as field trial subjects. The instruments included validation sheets, response questionnaires, and pretest–posttest questions. Validation results indicated that the materials were highly valid, with scores of 72.5/80 from material experts and 60.5/72 from media experts, exceeding the minimum eligibility threshold of 85%. Field trials showed positive student responses regarding usability and design. The t-test revealed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, with average scores increasing from 67.883 to 87.167 and an N-Gain of 0.601 (medium–high category). Thus, the Karsa-Nusa digital learning materials are valid, practical, and effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills in IPAS learning.

Abstract

Social Studies learning in junior high schools still faces the common problem of low student motivation and creativity due to the dominance of conventional methods and unengaging instructional media. This study aims to develop an educational video using the Canva application as an alternative digital learning media for eighth-grade Social Studies at SMP Negeri 1 Pucanglaban. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research instruments included expert validation sheets, teacher and student response questionnaires, creativity tests, and student motivation questionnaires. The validation results indicated that the Canva-based educational video met the criteria of content, visual, and technical validity. Trial results showed that the media was found to be practical for teachers and easily accessible for students via digital devices. Its effectiveness was evident through increased student creativity, demonstrated by indicators of fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Furthermore, students’ learning motivation also increased significantly, especially in terms of attention, material relevance, self-confidence, and learning satisfaction. Thus, Canva-based educational videos are suitable to be used as innovative Social Studies learning media that promote active engagement and optimal student development.

Abstract

Tempeh and tofu craftsmen are one of the MSME sectors in indonesia. Tempeh and tofu production is one of the businesses carried out by the people of Tulung Village, Saradan District, Madiun. Over the years, tempeh and tofu craftsmen have faced various business challenges, one of which is the volatile price of soybeans, which has risen significantly. Tempeh and tofu craftsmen have overcome these challenges by employing business strategies that have kept their businesses afloat. The purpose of this study was to determine the strategies employed by tempeh and tofu craftsmen to deal with the volatility of soybean prices in Tulung Village, Saradan District, Madiun. The research method used a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained from the study were: Production strategies include (1) employing a permanent and trained workforce, (2) using traditional equipment with regular maintenance, (3) stocking raw materials for inventory, and (4) using raw materials of good quality standards, (5) carry out the production process according to procedures. Marketing strategies include (1) maintaining product quality, (2) reducing product size but keeping the product price the same, (3) direct distribution to consumers and retailers, (4) direct promotion, (5) providing bonuses to consumers. ABSTRAKPengrajin tempe dan tahu merupakan salah satu dari sektor UMKM di Indonesia. Pembuatan tempe dan tahu menjadi salah satu usaha yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat di Desa Tulung Kecamatan Saradan Madiun. Dalam menjalani usaha selama bertahun-tahun pengrajin tempe dan tahu telah melewati berbagai permasalahan usaha, salah satunya adalah adanya ketidakstabilan harga bahan baku kedelai yang naik cukup tinggi. Pengrajin tempe dan tahu dapat melewati permasalahan tersebut pastinya menggunakan strategi usaha yang dilakukan hingga usaha tetap bertahan hingga saat ini. Tujuan Penelitian ini ingin mengetahui apa saja strategi yang dilakukan pengrajin tempe dan tahu dalam menghadapi ketidakstabilan harga kedelai di Desa Tulung Kecamatan Saradan Madiun. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini mencakup pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil: Strategi produksi dengan (1) menggunakan tenaga kerja tetap dan terlatih, (2) menggunakan peralatan tradisional dan dirawat secara rutin, (3) menyetok bahan baku untuk persediaan, (4) menggunakan bahan baku dengan standar kualitas baik, (5) melakukan proses produksi sesuai tata cara. Strategi Pemasaran dengan (1) mempertahankan kualitas produk, (2) mengurangi ukuran produk tetapi harga produk tetap sama, (3) distribusi secara langsung kepada konsumen dan pengecer, (4) promosi secara langsung, (5) memberikan bonus kepada konsumen.

Abstract

This research aims to produce contextual-based learning video to improve students’ conceptual understanding on the topic of socio-cultural change. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model: Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The product trial was conducted on 16 ninth-grade students at MTs Aswaja Tunggangri. Data analysis techniques included n-Gain calculation, normality testing, and paired sample t-test. The results showed: (1) Contextual-based learning videos were declared highly valid based on media validation results of 91%, and material validation results of 85%. (2) The contextual-based learning videos were considered highly practical based on the instructional module assessment, which obtained a score of 85%, as well as assessments from Observer 1 and Observer 2, which were 84% respectively. (3) The contextual-based learning videos were found to be effective, as shown by the significance value (2-tailed) of the paired pre-test and post-test data, which was 0.009 < 0.05. Therefore, H0 is rejected due to the presence of a significant difference, and H1 is accepted because there is a difference in the average scores between the pre-test and post-test. Based on these results, it can be concluded that learning using contextual-based learning videos can improve students’ conceptual understanding of the topic of social and cultural change. ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini yaitu menghasilkan video pembelajaran berbais kontekstual untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi perubahan sosial budaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development dengan model model 4D (Pendefinisian (Define), Perancangan (Design),Pengembangan (Develop), dan Penyebaran (Disseminate). Uji coba produk dilaksanakan terhadap 16 siswa kelas IX di Mts Aswaja Tunggangri. Teknik analisis data menggunakan perhitungan n-Gain, uji normalitas, dan uji T berpasangan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh (1) Video pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual dinyatakan sangat valid diperoleh berdasarkan dari validasi media 91%, dari validasi materi 85%,(2) Video pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual dinyatakan sangat praktis dari hasil penilaian modul ajar diperoleh 85%, dari observer 1 dan observer 2 diperoleh 84% (3) Video pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual dinyatakan efektif dengan Sig. (2-tailed) pasangan data pre-test dan post-test yaitu 0.009 < 0.05, sehingga H0 ditolak karena tidak ada perbedaan dan H1 diterima karena terdapat perbedaan rata-rata hasil pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pengguaan media video pembelajaran berbasis kontekstual dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi perubahan sosial budaya.

Abstract

Pelatihan Business Plan Canvas (BMC) di Boonpring Andeman Desa Sanankerto Turen Malang merupakan kegiatan PKM yang dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya kesenjangan antara keinginan untuk meraih prestasi sebagai Desa wisata yang telah dipromosikan untuk level dunia dengan kondisi sumber daya manusia yang mengelola wisata desa. Pelatihan BMC merupakan pelatihan yang membahas tentang bagaimana seorang wirausaha merencanakan bisnisnya dengan sembilan blok bangunan yaitu mitra kunci, kegiatan utama, kegiatan utama, sumber kunci, proposisi nilai, hubungan konsumen, saluran, segmen pelanggan, struktur biaya dan aliran pendapatan. Ketrampilan membuat rencana usaha dengan model BMC ini merupakan salah satu implementasi dari manajemen kewirausahaan. Metode pelatihan menggunakan outdoor study, yaitu kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan di lokasi wisata Boonpring Andeman. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari unsur pengurus Pokdarwis, BUMDes, karang taruna, perangkat desa dan beberapa tokoh masyarakat berjumlah 26 orang.  Pelaksanaan pelatihan masuk kategori sukses dengan indicator adanya beberapa dokumen BMC yang dibuat oleh peserta dan suasana yang penuh semangat ketika pelaksanaan pelatihan. Semua peserta mengajukan pertanyaan terutama tentang proposisi nilai usaha yang akan dilakukan. Keberhasilan pelatihan ini tidak terlepas dari dukungan kepala desa, tokoh masyarakat dan semua unsur masyrakat. Untuk kegiatan selanjutnya diharapkan ada kontinyuitas dan konsisitensi pemikiran tentang pengembangan SDM di Desa Sanankerto dalam rangka mensukseskan Desa Wisata Sanankerto go internasional.

Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the participation of coach, supervisor, administrators and members in the Amanah Student Cooperative. This type of research is qualitative. Based on the research, the results were obtained: 1) The participation of the coach in the Amanah Student Cooperative, namely providing advice or directions to the management, but the suggestions given by the coache have not been able to meet the needs in solving problems; 2) Participation of supervisors, namely supervising the performance of cooperative management which is carried out as needed in 2 ways, namely open supervision and closed supervision; 3) Management participation in the Amanah Student Cooperative has not been able to support the success of the cooperative; 4) Participation of members in the Amanah Student Cooperative only contributes actively to the utilization of services provided by the cooperative so that it can be said that members have low participation in cooperatives. In this case, it can be concluded that the participation of both coach, supervisor, administrators and members in the Amanah Student Cooperative is considered very low so that it has not been able to create a healthy and independent cooperative

Abstract

This study aims to develop an e-LKPD using the Liveworksheet platform integrated with a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model to improve student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for Grade V elementary students. The study applied the ADDIE development model with five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Data were obtained through validation sheets, observation, questionnaires, and pretest-posttest assessments. The developed e-LKPD was declared very valid based on expert reviews, observation of learning activities, and effective based on increased student learning outcomes. This research contributes to the development of digital learning media that integrate real-world problem-solving in IPAS subjects, especially under the Merdeka Curriculum framework.
