Abstract

Penelitian yang berjudul “Representasi Media dalam Program Hitam Putih: Perspektif Ekonomi Politik dari Budaya Media” ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana program talkshow “Hitam Putih” di Trans7 merepresentasikan berbagai persoalan sosial dan budaya melalui lensa ekonomi politik. Dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana media tidak hanya menyampaikan informasi, namun juga membentuk persepsi masyarakat terhadap realitas sosial yang ditampilkan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program ini berperan penting dalam membentuk opini masyarakat dan mempengaruhi perilaku sosial melalui pengemasan konten yang menarik dan relevan. Acara “Hitam Putih” berhasil menarik perhatian penonton dengan menyajikan isu-isu terkini secara menarik, sehingga menimbulkan persepsi positif di kalangan masyarakat. Selain itu, representasi presenter yang lebih menghibur dan informal juga berkontribusi terhadap keberhasilan program dalam menarik minat penonton, meskipun hal ini mengubah ekspektasi mengenai kualitas intelektual seorang pembawa acara talk show.Melalui analisis tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa “Hitam Putih” tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai sarana hiburan, namun juga sebagai alat untuk mengkonstruksi realitas sosial yang dapat mempengaruhi pandangan dan sikap masyarakat terhadap berbagai permasalahan. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang hubungan antara media, budaya, dan ekonomi politik dalam konteks komunikasi massa.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komunikasi interpersonal yang dilakukan oleh kepala desa Piji, Kecamatan Dawe, Kabupaten Kudus, dalam menjaga moralitas masyarakat. Moralitas menjadi hal yang penting untuk diperhatikan ditengah arus modernisasi yang sering kali mengikis nilai-nilai lokal. Studi ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal Kepala Desa melibatkan pendekatan persuasive, dialogis, dan partisipatif melalui forum masyarakat, kunjungan rumah, dan penggunaan media tradisional. Temuan ini mengungkapkan bahwa hubungan erat antar kepala desa dengan warganya menjadi kunci dalam menciptakan pengaruh positif terhadap perilaku masyarakat. penelitian ini menjadi manfaat dalam memperkaya wawasan tentang strategi komunikasi pemimpin lokal untuk menjaga nilai-nilai moral di komunitas desa, sehingga relevan untuk diterapkan di berbagai daerah lain dengan karakteristik serupa. Kata kunci : Komunikasi Interpersonal, Kepala Desa, Moralitas Masyarakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi komodifikasi simbol-simbol religius dalam iklan produk kosmetik Wardah dengan pendekatan ekonomi politik media. Sebagai salah satu merek kosmetik halal terkemuka di Indonesia, Wardah menggunakan identitas religius sebagai bagian dari strategi pemasarannya untuk menarik pasar Muslim. Studi ini mengkaji bagaimana simbol-simbol seperti hijab, doa, dan nilai-nilai Islam dihadirkan sebagai elemen estetika dan retoris dalam iklan mereka. Melalui metode analisis isi dan wawancara mendalam, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa simbol-simbol religius dalam iklan Wardah tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai representasi identitas, tetapi juga berperan sebagai alat komersialisasi yang memperkuat posisi merek di pasar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa praktik tersebut mencerminkan dinamika ekonomi politik media, di mana nilai-nilai budaya dan agama berpadu dengan kepentingan kapitalisme. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyoroti aspek etis dari komodifikasi simbol-simbol religius, terutama terkait dampaknya terhadap persepsi konsumen terhadap nilai-nilai keagamaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dimana penelitian ini akan menghasilkan data berupa data deskriptif tentang Komodifikasi Simbol Religi Dalam Iklan Wardah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan sekaligus menggali sumber-sumber informasi dan data dari informan, serta memberikan penjelasan, deskripsi secara keseluruhan tentang "Komodifikasi Simbol Religi Dalam Iklan Wardah. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan sumbangan penting bagi kajian komunikasi, pemasaran, dan ekonomi politik media, khususnya dalam konteks industri kosmetik halal di Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini berjudul “Peran Kompas TV dalam Meningkatkan Literasi Keagamaan di Indonesia”, bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran Kompas TV terutama dalam meningkatkan literasi keagamaanya di Indonesia, dan bagaimana Kompas TV menangani kontraversi atau konflik yang terkait dengan isu Agama, terutama Agama Islam dalam liputannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif, subjek penelitian ini dengan mewawancarai produser lapangan pada hari Selasa, 28 Mei 2024 yang menjadi narasumber saat Kunjungan di Kompas TV. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompas TV mampu meningkatkan literasi keagamaan yang sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan yang berlaku dan mendukung penerapan syariat Islam. Adapun peran Kompas TV dalam meningkatkan literasi keagamaan di Indonesia yaitu Melalui konten inspiratif dan edukatif, fokus pada eksplorasi Indonesia, kualitas konten yang tinggi, visi dan misi yang jelas, dan penghargaan dan pengakuan, Kompas TV telah berperan aktif dalam meningkatkan literasi keagamaan di Indonesia. Abstract: This research, entitled "The Role of Kompas TV in Increasing Religious Literacy in Indonesia", aims to find out the role of Kompas TV, especially in increasing religious literacy in Indonesia, and how Kompas TV handles controversy or conflict related to religious issues, especially Islam in its coverage. This research uses a qualitative approach and descriptive methods, the subject of this research is interviewing Ms. Meirita Efendi who was a resource person during a visit to Kompas TV. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that Kompas TV is able to increase religious literacy in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and supports the implementation of Islamic law. The role of Kompas TV in increasing religious literacy in Indonesia is through inspirational and educational content, focus on exploration of Indonesia, high quality content, clear vision and mission, and awards and recognition, Kompas TV has played an active role in increasing religious literacy in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of gelar karya as an effort to strengthen public speaking skills for students of the Islamic Broadcasting Communication (KPI) study program at IAIN Kudus. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation. The collected data undergoes a process of reduction, interpretation, and conclusion drawing to explore how gelar karya contributes to strengthening students' public speaking skills. The research findings indicate that gelar karya plays a significant role in training students to appear confident in public, although many still experience anxiety. In conclusion, gelar karya is an effective means of strengthening public speaking skills for KPI students at IAIN Kudus. It is not only beneficial in an academic context but also crucial in equipping students with essential communication skills needed in the professional world.

Abstract

YouTube, as a media platform, has become an important means for preachers to spread da'wah studies, especially among teenagers from the Branch Children's Association (PAC), the Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association (IPNU), and the Nahdlatul Ulama Female Student Association (IPPNU) in Juwana District. This study investigates how da'wah content on YouTube can increase religious interest among teenagers, especially when they face difficulties in participating in da'wah directly. The novelty of this study lies in its innovative approach to utilizing digital media to convey religious messages, which are relevant to today's challenges. The methodology used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through interviews and documents. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman model technique. The findings demonstrate that da'wah content on YouTube is easily accessible and diverse, allowing teenagers to choose based on their interests. Furthermore, the discussions reveal that the da'wah videos significantly increase awareness and understanding of religion among the younger generation and positively impact their religious studies.

Abstract

This research discusses the role of the film "KOS-KOSAN" in raising the theme of inter- religious tolerance and pluralism in a pluralistic Indonesian society. Film is considered a powerful medium in conveying messages and social values. Through strong narratives, complex characters, and evocative visuals, films can stimulate reflection and awareness of the importance of tolerance and inter-religious harmony. These films can inspire and convey values of tolerance, mutual respect, and inter-religious harmony to their audiences. This study aims to analyze representations the values of tolerance between religious communities of pluralism in the film “KOS-KOSAN”. In this study, Roland Barthes semiotic method approach was used to analyze the elements in the film, especially signs that are an important part of everyday life. The results of the study show that the film "KOS-KOSAN" succeeds in depicting several aspects that contain values of tolerance and pluralism in the context of everyday life, such as: respect for religious differences and choices of clothing, acceptance of multiculturalism and diverse lives, acceptance of multiculturalism and diverse lives, Clothing symbolism and respect for identity.

Abstract

This study aims to find the most effective PR strategy in improving the positive image of the Social Service, P3A Kudus Regency. The research method used is qualitative, producing descriptive data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, with data checking using triangulation techniques. The results of the study showed that the PR targets of the Social Service for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of Kudus Regency were divided into two categories: main targets and specific targets. The main targets include the entire Kudus community, while the specific targets are vulnerable communities, namely those who need assistance from the Social Service and who have limited access to information. The Social Service for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of Kudus Regency builds a positive image through two approaches: direct and indirect. The indirect approach is carried out by utilizing social media as a tool for disseminating information, both through websites and Instagram. While the direct approach involves Social Service staff in carrying out programs in the community, including socialization, community services, and granting rights and obligations to residents.

Abstract

This study analyzes the streaming series film script Saiyo Sakato written by Gina S. Noer. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with a structural approach. This comedy drama set in the intrigue of two families united by Padang cuisine raises the issue of patriarchal culture, especially the issue of polygamy which is spiced with various things that are very attached to everyday life. By analyzing intrinsic elements such as theme, character, plot, setting, language style, and message, it was found that the main characters, Uni Mar, Nita, and Annisa, face an inner dilemma between hope and reality and personal achievement or desire and pressure from patriarchal culture in their families. The storyline tells their emotional and mental journey in adjusting to the presence of a new person in their family. This study emphasizes the intrinsic elements contained in the Saiyo Sakato drama script. The structural method helps explain the elements in the drama script, providing a deeper understanding of the meaning and message of this literary work.

Abstract

This study discusses the public speaking techniques used by members of the Stand Up Indo Kudus Community in their stand-up comedy performances. Public speaking in this context involves the skill of speaking in front of an audience with the aim of entertaining and building effective communication through humor. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews to gather in-depth data from active comedians within the community. The findings reveal that frequently used public speaking techniques include voice intonation control to emphasize punchlines, body language to strengthen the narrative, and eye contact to create interaction with the audience. Additionally, improvisation plays a crucial role in handling unexpected situations on stage. Through activities such as open mic sessions and group discussions, the community consistently develops its members’ communication skills, shaping confident, creative, and adaptive comedians in various situations
