Abstract

Detecting sarcasm in English tweets on social media platforms like Twitter is a complex task due to its subtle and ambiguous nature. This study explores the use of ensemble machine learning techniques, including Logistic Regression, Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, and Support Vector Machine (SVM), to effectively identify sarcasm. A dataset containing sarcastic and non-sarcastic English tweets was collected and preprocessed. Features representing lexical, syntactic, and semantic information were extracted to train and evaluate the ensemble models. The Support Vector Machine method demonstrated the highest performance among the techniques employed, achieving an accuracy of 80% and an F1-score of 80% for sarcasm detection. This highlights the efficacy of Support Vector Machines in capturing complex patterns and differentiating between sarcastic and non-sarcastic tweets. By leveraging the strengths of multiple machine learning algorithms, the ensemble approach enhances the overall performance of the sarcasm detection system. It provides a more robust and accurate detection of sarcasm, thereby improving the understanding of user sentiments and opinions in online conversations. This research contributes to sentiment analysis and natural language processing, offering valuable insights into sarcasm detection in social media. The findings have practical implications for interpreting user-generated content on platforms like Twitter, enabling a better understanding of user sentiments and facilitating more meaningful interactions.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic caused a crisis in global economic growth. The impact of injuries due to the COVID-19 pandemic has also caused price increases and an increase in the inflation rate. Inflation is a price increase caused by a certain factor so that it has an impact on the prices of nearby goods which increase the circulation of money in society to increase. Many people expressed their various opinions or criticisms of the post-COVID-19 price increase policy on social media, one of which was via Twitter. Sentiment analysis was carried out to see how public sentiment is towards the price increase policy after the COVID-19 pandemic, and these sentiments are combined into multiclasses, namely positive, negative and neutral sentiments. So that this sentiment can later be used as material for evaluation regarding the post-COVID-19 price increase policy. This study aims to see and compare the accuracy of the two classification methods, namely K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) in the sentiment classification process. The data used was 5989 tweets with the keywords ""Stuffets Go Up Post-Pandemic", "Fuel Goes Up", "Inflation 2022", "Covid19 Inflation", "Inflation Post-Pandemic" with a data collection period from August to October 2022. The data obtained then enter the text preprocessing stage before later entering the classification stage. The results obtained after carrying out the classification using the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) and Support Vector Machine (SVM) methods show that the Support Vector Machine (SVM) method has a higher accuracy of 79%, while the K-Nearest Neighbor (K -NN) has an accuracy of 54%.

Abstract

This research departs from the researcher's interest in the function of websites in the sales process and stock of raw materials at a cracker factory. This research aims to develop an information system that can improve structured data management in business processes, especially in matters regarding sales and stock of raw materials. This research uses the Waterfall method as a development method. The data collection method in this research was carried out using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The results of this research show that the existence of a website-based information system or sales and raw material recording system facilitates various transaction processes at this cracker factory. Having a database system compiled on a website will make it easier for an owner or business actor to store information on buying and selling transactions, record raw materials, and will make it easier to make reports..

Abstract

Space learning is still dominated by traditional books, but is often considered monotonous because it only presents static text and images. This study aims to develop a Smart Space Book based on Augmented Reality (AR) as an interactive learning media to present space concepts more visually and attractively. The method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which consists of six stages: conceptualization, application design, material collection, application development, application testing, and application distribution. This application was developed using Unity 3D on Android devices with the marker-based tracking method, which displays 3D objects such as the Solar System, Galaxy, Stars, and Space equipped with interactive explanatory materials. Testing was carried out through black box testing to assess system functionality as well as usability tests and field studies at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Kindergarten. The results of our findings are in the form of a Smart Space Book application based on Augmented Reality (AR), which can function well according to the design that has been determined and is applied as an interactive AR-based learning media. The test results of this application provide an alternative in presenting space material more visually and interactively and have the potential to be applied at various levels of education.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop a systematic information system for logistics of consumable goods by applying the FIFO method. It also aims to synchronize expenditure reports with inventory reports to minimize discrepancies between financial and inventory reports. The research approach consists of two methods, qualitative case study and FIFO inventory management method. The Web-based Consumable Goods Logistics Information System is built using PHP version 8.1 programming language with Laravel version 9 framework on the server-side, Vue.js on the client-side, and MySql as the database. It can be operated on browsers such as Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Microsoft Edge. The system is expected to help local governments generate the required reports for the BPKAD, which mandates monthly inventory reports on incoming and outgoing goods. The application is user-friendly and capable of producing accurate and fast reports. Highlights: 1. This research aims to create a systematic information system for consumable goods logistics using the FIFO method to minimize discrepancies between financial and inventory reports. 2. The Web-based system is user-friendly, capable of producing accurate and fast reports, and fulfills the inventory reporting needs of each department/unit while providing valid data to the Health Department. 3. Abstract

This research focuses on the development of an educational mobile game, 'EduSdamada,' using the Unity2D application, with the aim of addressing the impact of information technology on education. As mobile phones and smartphones greatly influence learning, teachers are challenged to adopt effective methods to engage students. The game combines learning and play elements to provide enjoyable and effective learning experiences for elementary school children. The research follows the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation) commonly used for software and application development. Data collected through questionnaires from 7-year-old children revealed that 81.8% of them enjoy playing games that incorporate learning aspects, and 45.5% found 'EduSdamada' to be an enjoyable experience. While the game exhibits some shortcomings in terms of graphics, features, and effects, the findings underscore the potential for future improvements. Highlights: Developed an educational mobile game, 'EduSdamada,' using Unity2D application, catering to the impact of information technology on education. The game successfully combines learning and play elements, providing enjoyable and effective learning experiences for elementary school children. Data analysis from questionnaires revealed that 81.8% of 7-year-old children enjoy playing games with educational components, with 45.5% finding 'EduSdamada' to be an enjoyable experience, indicating its potential for further improvements.

Abstract

General Background : Augmented Reality (AR) has become a promising tool for enhancing visualization in mathematics education, particularly in learning three-dimensional geometry. Specific Background: Students at SDN Sidoklumpuk experience difficulties understanding spatial forms due to limited physical teaching aids. Gap: Existing AR-based studies rarely integrate visualization, formulas, and interactive assessment in a single application tailored for elementary learners. Aims: This study aims to design an AR-based learning application using Unity 3D and Vuforia SDK to support students’ understanding of geometric solids. Results: The application presents 3D objects, displays formula explanations, and provides a Mini Quiz feature. Black-box testing shows that all functions operate successfully, and early classroom trials indicate improved student engagement and comprehension. Novelty: The integration of AR visualization with formula assistance and in-app assessment offers a more complete learning tool than typical AR implementations. Implications: The application can support teachers in delivering abstract geometry concepts and can be expanded for broader curriculum use. Abstract

Masalah yang dihadapi oleh pemerintahan desa Banyutengah kecamatan Panceng salah satunya adalah proses pengajuan dokumen desa dalam membuat atau mengajukan surat yang masih manual, dimana hal ini berdampak terhadap pelayanan yang kurang maksimal terhadap Warga desa Banyutengah kecamatan Panceng. Dimasa Pandemi Covid-19 ini, teknologi informasi sangat dibutuhkan manusia dalam melakukan berbagai pekerjaan manusia. Komputer merupakan suatu perangkat yang diciptakan untuk memudahkan pekerjaan manusia, sekaligus mencapai kemajuan yang begitu pesat baik dalam segi perangkat keras maupun perangkat lunak. Dengan adanya aplikasi pengajuan dokumen desa desa berbasis web ini diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang sedang dihadapi oleh desa Banyutengah kecamatan Panceng dalam melakukan kegiatan surat menyurat serta meningkatkan pelayanan administrasi persuratan agar menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

At this time the website has become one of the modern information media that is growing very quickly. In making a website, not only the design and information are important, but the security aspect of the website itself has a very important role in a website. The need for website security arises from the need to protect data. First, from data loss and corruption. Second, there are irresponsible parties who want to access and change data. Other problems include self-data protection, excessive delays when accessing or using data. The method used in this test will use tools in the form of software and certain methods used to test the security of a website. To analyze website security, the software used is Snort IDS (Intrusion Detection System) and Wireshark. SQL Injection is actually not a new thing in the world of hacking as a web hacking technique, SQL Injection can damage the database of a website. The technique used in SQL Injection is to input basic SQL commands such as create, insert, update, drop, alter, union and select along with other commands.

Abstract

Cyberbullying on social media platform X has become a critical digital threat and requires automatic detection mechanisms to mitigate psychological impacts on victims. This study proposes a hybrid deep learning architecture that combines Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) for local feature extraction and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) for sequential context understanding in classifying Indonesian language cyberbullying comments. This study evaluates model performance using a dataset of 13,677 comments from social media X through a series of systematic testing scenarios, including the impact of regularization, utilization of FastText embeddings, and comparative studies against state-of-the-art models. Experimental results demonstrate that the Early Stopping mechanism is a critical factor in this architecture, where without this mechanism the model experiences accuracy degradation of up to 32%. The proposed CNN-LSTM model achieves 88.38% accuracy and 88.00% F1-Score, improving to 0.9559 AUC with FastText integration. This model achieves over 97% of IndoBERTweet's performance with 22 times lower computational complexity (4.97 million versus 110.88 million parameters) and outperforms machine learning methods such as SVM with an accuracy margin of more than 10 percentage points. This study concludes that the CNN-LSTM architecture offers a robust and efficient solution for cyberbullying detection, particularly for resource-constrained environments
