Abstract

Pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus pada pengembangan kemampuan intelektual peserta didik, tetapi juga berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter yang berlandaskan nilai moral dan etika. Dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar, guru berfungsi sebagai teladan yang menanamkan nilai-nilai etika melalui sikap dan perilakunya di lingkungan sekolah. Di sisi lain, siswa juga memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menerapkan nilai etika dengan bagaimana penerapan nilai etika antara guru dan murid dapat berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa nilai-nilai seperti saling menghormati, kejujuran, kedisiplinan, dan tanggung jawab mampu menciptakan iklim belajar yang kondusif serta memperkuat pembentukan karakter positif pada diri siswa. Kolaborasi yang baik antara guru dan murid dalam menjaga etika yang sangat berperan besar dalam membangun lingkungan sekolah berkarakter dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the internalization of teacher professional ethics through reflective learning and a humanistic approach. The background of this research highlights ongoing moral issues in the educational environment, including violence, behavioral deviance, and abuse of authority, which emphasize the need for strengthening teacher ethical values. This research adopts a qualitative approach using library research methods by examining books, scholarly articles, and relevant documents related to teacher ethics, humanistic education, and reflective learning. The findings reveal that teacher professional ethics serve as a moral foundation in educational interactions and act as a guideline for teachers in carrying out their professional responsibilities. Reflective learning and the humanistic approach are proven to effectively support the internalization of ethical values, as they place learners at the center of the learning process, foster empathetic relationships, and create a safe and meaningful learning atmosphere. In the context of Islamic Religious Education, the teacher's roles as educator, role model, facilitator, motivator, and evaluator significantly contribute to the continuous formation of students' moral character. This study affirms that strengthening teacher professional ethics is essential to realizing an educational environment that is moral, ethical, and oriented toward holistic character development.

Abstract

Teachers ' professionalism is the mandate of law No. 20-year 2003, Act No. 14 of the year 2005, PP No. 74 years 2008, and Permendiknas No. 16 of the year 2007, yet still many such problamatika the teacher happens, especially related to the qualifications and performance of teachers. However, the spiritualization applied by KH. ACH. Muzakki Shah as caretakers of the Pesantren Al-Qodiri 1 Jember and KH. Masykur Abdul Mu'iad, as caretakers of the Pesantren Baitul Arqom Balung, proved that teachers can address problems through the application of spiritual leadership. In accordance with the nature and character of the issues become the focus in this paper, the study was designed with a qualitative approach, which is used to conduct studies and explorative deskriptive. Conclusion this study i.e. spiritualization at pesantren Al-Qodiri Jember and boarding 1 Baitul Arqom Balung, has a uniqueness for example when teacher recruitment process, there are additional criteria are required, including the following: must have sincerity and motivation (ghirrah) in educating high, has the understanding and practice of Islam is good, has character and personality rather and have communication skills that are helpful and behaving politely. This proves that the teachers, in addition to be able to teach in accordance with his duties well, also being required to implement the values of spirituality in all its activities.

Abstract

Learning at the elementary school level requires the use of methods that are interesting, interactive, and appropriate to the development of students. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using artificial intelligence (AI)-based animated videos in improving conceptual understanding and learning motivation of second-grade students at MI Miftahul Ulum Kranjingan, Jember. AI-based learning media was chosen because it is able to present material visually, dynamically, and interactively, making it easier to understand for students who are at the concrete operational development stage. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation of the learning process, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of classroom activities. The results showed that the use of AI-based animated videos was able to increase students' interest and enthusiasm in participating in learning, clarify their understanding of the material presented, and encourage active participation in discussion activities and exercises. Overall, this study concluded that the application of AI-based animated videos is an effective medium for creating a more interactive, creative, and enjoyable learning process for second-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic education in strengthening the professional ethics of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers. Using a literature review method, this research systematically examines books, scientific articles, regulations, and previous studies related to teacher ethics, professionalism, and the values of Islamic education. The findings show that Islamic education provides a strong moral foundation, such as trustworthiness, justice, responsibility, and exemplary behavior, which significantly shape the ethical conduct of teachers in carrying out their professional duties. Teachers who internalize these values are able to consistently apply ethical principles, build positive pedagogical relationships, and improve the quality of learning. The study also identifies several challenges, including teachers’ limited understanding of the code of ethics and the lack of institutional support in the form of ongoing training. These conditions indicate that strengthening teacher ethics requires spiritual development and structured institutional programs. Overall, the study concludes that Islamic education serves as a substantive and practical framework for enhancing teacher professionalism. Further research is recommended to use empirical approaches, such as qualitative studies or case studies, to provide a deeper depiction of the implementation of teacher ethic.

Abstract

Akuntabilitas dan pengelolaan sekolah merupakan aspek penting dalam menciptakan tata kelola pendidikan yang transparan, efektif, dan berorientasi pada peningkatan mutu. Kepala sekolah memiliki peran strategis sebagai pemimpin yang mengarahkan, mengelola, dan mengawasi seluruh kegiatan sekolah agar berjalan sesuai visi dan misi pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap peran kepala sekolah serta kontribusi dan bentuk kerja sama antara kepala sekolah dan komite sekolah dalam meningkatkan akuntabilitas serta pengelolaan sekolah di MI Al-Amin Garahan Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan kajian dokumen yang melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan komite sekolah. Validitas data dilakukan melalui teknik member checking untuk memastikan keakuratan interpretasi hasil penelitian sesuai dengan pengalaman responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah MI Al-Amin Garahan Jember berperan penting dalam menciptakan sistem pengelolaan yang akuntabel melalui penerapan kepemimpinan partisipatif, transparansi dalam pengelolaan keuangan, serta pengawasan yang berkesinambungan terhadap pelaksanaan program pendidikan. Kerja sama antara kepala sekolah dan komite sekolah terjalin dalam berbagai bentuk, seperti perencanaan program kerja bersama, pengawasan penggunaan anggaran, evaluasi kegiatan sekolah, dan pelibatan masyarakat dalam pengambilan keputusan. Kolaborasi ini terbukti meningkatkan kepercayaan publik, efisiensi pengelolaan sumber daya, serta memperkuat budaya akuntabilitas di lingkungan sekolah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa sinergi antara kepala sekolah dan komite sekolah menjadi kunci keberhasilan dalam membangun tata kelola pendidikan yang transparan, partisipatif, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Introduction the Problem: This study explores the controversy surrounding parental roles in supporting children’s education in the digital era. Purpose: The research investigates how parents adapt to the shift from conventional parenting to digital-based learning assistance. Method: Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were gathered through interviews, observations, and documentation involving parents, teachers, and students. Findings: The findings show a clear transformation in parenting practices, with parents increasingly using digital tools and online platforms to guide children’s learning. This involvement positions parents as both supervisors and collaborators in digital learning environments. However, the study also identifies a social tension: while some parents believe digital supervision ensures focus and safety, others worry that excessive control may limit children’s autonomy and self-regulation. The results emphasize that balanced digital mediation supported by adequate digital literacy enhances children’s motivation, discipline, and engagement in online learning. Stronger collaboration between schools and families further improves the effectiveness of learning support. Limitations and Recommendations: In conclusion, digital parenting requires a balance between guidance and autonomy. The study provides theoretical insight into evolving digital parenting practices and offers practical implications for strengthening parental digital literacy and school–family partnerships.

Abstract

The digital transformation in the field of education has significantly affected the ethical roles and responsibilities of teachers. This study aims to reveal various forms of ethical crises experienced by teachers in the digital era, their contributing factors, and the strategies needed to strengthen teacher professionalism. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, including official references from the Ministry of Education and the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI). The findings indicate that ethical violations do not only occur in the form of verbal or physical misconduct but also in digital forms such as misuse of students’ personal data, plagiarism of teaching materials, and unprofessional interactions on social media. Contributing factors include administrative pressure, low digital ethical literacy, and insufficient regulations governing professional ethics within digital spaces. These findings are discussed in relation to theories of teacher professionalism, educational ethics, and digital literacy. The study highlights the urgency of strengthening digital ethical regulations, providing continuous professional development, and integrating moral values into all aspects of educational technology use. Moreover, it underscores the importance of developing digital ethics grounded in Islamic values such as trustworthiness (amanah), proper conduct (adab), and responsibility as a foundational aspect of teacher professionalism in the digital era. template, namely by looking at the page setup of the template that we have provided. Abstract

This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the role of character education in shaping the morals and ethics of the younger generation in the digital era through a descriptive qualitative approach carried out in secondary schools in East Java, Indonesia. By collecting data from in-depth interviews with five teachers and ten students, participatory observations during technology-based learning processes over a three-month period, as well as curriculum document analysis and school activity reports, the findings reveal that integrating character values such as empathy, responsibility, and digital literacy through interactive video-based learning and digital workshops significantly enhances students’ ability to interact ethically in the online environment. Teachers serve not only as technical facilitators but also as moral role models who guide students to avoid risks such as cyberbullying and social media addiction, while the synergy among schools, families, and communities strengthens the formation of holistic character that is adaptive to digital dynamics. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of digital literacy with character education grounded in humanistic-spiritual values inspired by Pancasila, which provides practical implications in the form of recommendations for national teacher training and the development of digital ethics policies by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology to create a young generation with strong integrity amid the global flow of information. This study also emphasizes the urgency of a collaborative approach to optimize technological opportunities while minimizing the threats of moral degradation, as supported by similar findings in other qualitative studies in Indonesia
