Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran keterampilan mahasiswa dalam membuat media dan sumber pada anak usia dini melalui bahan ajar pada mata kuliah media dan sumber terhadap pencapaian kompetensi mahasiswa pada mata kuliah media dan sumber belajar untuk anak usia dini. Diharapkan dengan terciptanya bahan ajar pada mata kuliah media dan sumber belajar untuk anak usia dini akan mempermudah mahasiswa dalam menguasai kompetensi yang ingin dicapai pada mata mata kuliah media dan sumber belajar untuk anak usia dini dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menganalisis kegiatan pembelajaran pada tugas nyata berbasis team based project melalui mata kuliah media dan sumber belajar untuk anak usia dini. Berdasarkan bahan ajar berupa buku yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perkuliahan yang mengintegrasikan secara baik materi tugas nyata berbasis team based project. Pengembangan bahan ajar tersebut akan dilaksanakan menggunakan metode pengembangan oleh Borg & Gall. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba bahan ajar dapat disimpulkan bahwa produk pengembangan memenuhi kreteria sangat baik dan memenuhi pada kualifikasi sangat layak. Hasil analisis menunjukan rata-rata presentasi 80,3% pada kualifikasi baik.

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of describing the social development of children aged 5-6 years through block games at Ulul Ilmi 2 Kindergarten Medan Marelan. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were the B class consisting of 10 children aged 5-6 years. The data collection technique in the study was by observation. The data analysis technique was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested by process triangulation. The results of the study showed that Children's social development in the empathy aspect for the sub-indicator shows concern for friends when they fail to stack blocks 10% is at a fairly good stage and 90% is at a very good stage. For the sub-indicator of appreciating friends' work 30% is at a good stage, and 70% is at a very good stage. Children's social development in the generosity aspect is 80% at a very good stage and 20% at a good stage. Children's social development in the cooperation aspect is 80% at a very good stage and 20% at a fairly good stage. Children's social development in the concern aspect for the sub-indicator of helping friends who need help 10% is at a fairly good stage and 90% at a very good stage. For the sub-indicator of reassembling blocks 10% is at a fairly good stage.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using mini theater media on the communication skills of children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Karunia Medan Johor. Communication skills are an important aspect of children's development, which involves the ability to speak, listen and interact effectively with other people. However, based on initial observations at Karunia Kindergarten, many children do not have good communication skills, such as lack of eye contact, unclear speech, and impoliteness when interacting. Mini theater as a learning medium has great potential to improve children's communication skills through role play that involves dialogue and interaction. This research uses an experimental method with a pre-test and post-test design in one group. The research sample was all children aged 5-6 years at Kindergarten Karunia Medan Johor, totaling 15 children. The research results show that the use of mini theater media significantly improves children's communication skills, especially in the aspects of speaking clearly, maintaining eye contact, and participating in conversations. Mini theater media has proven to be an effective tool in developing communication skills in early childhood.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of using Pop-up Book Media for the Development of Expressive Spoken Language in children aged 5-6 years. The method used in this research is a quantitative method. This research uses a one-group pretest-posttest design, meaning that the researcher randomly places participants into one group and does not check the condition of other groups to determine stability or clarity before providing treatment. This research was conducted at Tunas Harapan Ambarita Kindergarten, 10 participants were the sample for this research. The null hypothesis of this research was tested using non-parametric statistics. By using the Wilcoxon test, if Tcount is compared with Ttable N 10 with α = 0.05 Ttable = 8. From the data analysis above, it can be said that Tcount > Ttable where 55 > 8, thus the hypothesis is accepted. This means "There is a significant influence of the use of pop-up book media on the development of expressive spoken language in children aged 5-6 years at Tunas Harapan Ambarita Kindergarten.

Abstract

Learning motivation in early childhood is an important factor in achieving educational goals. This study aims to analyze the effect of education management on learning motivation in early childhood. The research methodology used in this study is a literature study. A literature study is a research approach carried out by collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and synthesizing literature or written sources that are relevant to the research topic used as the object of research. The results of this study show that the influence of education management on learning motivation in early childhood is very important. Factors that influence learning motivation in early childhood include internal factors, such as interest and talent, and external factors, such as the learning environment and learning methods. With good education management, teachers and education managers can create a conducive learning environment and motivate children to learn. Some strategies that can be used include interactive and fun learning methods, a safe and comfortable learning environment, and positive rewards and feedback.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan penilaian portofolio dalam penilaian perkembangan motorik halus anak di PAUD Al-Wafi Kecamatan Selesai Kabupaten Langkat. Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dalam penelitan  deskripsi  kuantitatif  dan  analisis  kualitatif  dalam  satu  kegiatan  penelitian dengan subjek penelitian guru, dokumen pembelajaran dan hasil karya anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan analisis dokumen, pengamatan dan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru di PAUD Al-Wafi Kecamatan Selesai Kabupaten Langkat sudah melakukan penggunaan penilaian portofolio dengan optimal dan baik. Dari analisis dokumen RPPH dan dokumen hasil karya yang dianalisis menjelaskan bahwa tahapan penilaian portofolio  sudah  dilaksanakan  dengan  baik. Penggunaan portofolio dalam penilaian perkembangan motorik halus anak dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak dan meningkatkan proses penilaian yang efektif dikelas.

Abstract

Pelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana proses penggunaan media realia dalam meningkatkan kecerdasan naturalis anak di TK Al Hidayah Kabupaten Langkat dan untuk menganalisis bagaimana peningkatan keceerdasan naturalis melalui media realia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan dengan jumlah subjek penelitian seluruh anak di TK Al Hidayah Kabupaten Langkat sebanyak 12 orang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan yang mengacu pada model Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dari Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart yang meliputi empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, refleksi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus, Analisis data menggunakan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif.  Analisis data kuantitatif dengan statistik deskriptif yaitu membandingkan hasil yang diperoleh dari siklus pertama dan siklus kedua. Sedangkan analisis data kualitatif dengan cara menganalisis data dari hasil wawancara selama penelitian dengan langkah-langkah reduksi data, display data dan verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemandirian melalui media realia, dapat dibuktikan rata-rata skor kecerdasan naturalis pra tindakan anak sebesar 32,81%. Kemudian mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I sebesar 37,44% sehingga menjadi 70,25%. Selanjutnya dari siklus I ke siklus II kecerdasan naturalis anak mengalami peningkatan sebesar 17,91% dari 70,25% menjadi 88,16%. Sehingga total peningkatan kecerdasan naturalis anak mulai dari pra tindakan, siklus I sampai siklus II 32,81% yaitu 70,25% menjadi 88,16%.

Abstract

Language acquisition is a natural process that occurs since a child is born through interaction with the surrounding environment. Children aged 4-5 years are in a stage of rapid language development, where they begin to understand, pronounce, and use language in various communication situations. This study aims to analyze the acquisition of Indonesian in children aged 4-5 years at Daycare and Learning Groups of Farhany Khair Islamic School in terms of phonetics, semantics, syntax, and morphemics. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used through observation and recording of children's conversations in various interaction contexts. The results of the study on phonological analysis show that children aged 4-5 years are in the stage of phonological development, especially in the pronunciation of the consonant /r/. In syntactic analysis, children have not used the appropriate formal grammar rules, but the sentences spoken are communicative and show good language skill development. In semantic analysis, children have shown the ability to state conditions and solutions directly, can connect actions with their consequences, show an understanding of time and causal relationships, and begin to develop simple narrative flows. In the morphemic analysis, it shows that children begin to master the use of the passive prefix di- correctly; the morphological form is not standard, but its function as a passive verb is still understood. Children at this age tend to use free morphemes and are still in the process of acquiring affixation.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the implementation of content differentiation in early childhood education at Medan City Medan Sekolah Penggerak. The method employed is qualitative research, utilizing purposive sampling. Interviews, observations, and documentation were conducted as data collection techniques. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification, while for data validity, source triangulation is used. The results showed that PAUD units in Medan City Sekolah Penggerak have implemented content differentiation by adjusting teaching materials based on children's readiness, interests, and learning styles. Teachers utilize various learning media and technology and provide space for children's active participation. Challenges faced by teachers include limited time, children's abilities, facilities, and teachers' skills in creating varied materials. Training, improved facilities, and collaboration between teachers are needed to optimize the implementation of content differentiation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi guru dan orang tua terhadap pemanfaatan konten edukasi di YouTube sebagai sumber pembelajaran tambahan bagi anak usia dini (PAUD) di Kota Medan. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital, termasuk platform berbagi video seperti YouTube, telah menjadi fenomena yang tidak terhindarkan dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan 10 guru PAUD dan 15 orang tua siswa dari berbagai sekolah di Kota Medan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik guru maupun orang tua memiliki persepsi positif terhadap manfaat konten edukasi di YouTube, terutama dalam hal kemudahan akses, variasi materi, dan kemampuan menarik minat anak. Namun, terdapat beberapa kekhawatiran dan tantangan, seperti konten yang tidak sesuai, risiko paparan iklan, dan ketergantungan anak pada gawai. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi pendidik dan orang tua dalam mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan YouTube secara bijak dan aman.
