Abstract

This research on the Study of Doses of Goat Manure Fertilizer and NPK Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Glutinous Corn (Zea mays L.) was carried out on October 19 – December 20 2022, at the Tohudan Horticultural Seed Garden, Colomadu District, Karanganyar Regency. Altitude ± 105 meters above sea level with Regosol soil type having a Ph of 6.5-7. This study aims to examine the effect of doses of goat manure and NPK fertilizer doses on the growth and yield of glutinous corn plants. This study used a Completely Randomized Block Design (CRBD) which was arranged in a factorial manner, the treatment consisted of 2 factors with a combination of 16 treatments, each treatment combination was repeated 3 times. The two factors are: (1) Goat manure ( K) with 4 levels, namely: control (K0) a dose of 0 gram/plot, (K1 ) a dose of 2.52 kg/plot, (K2 ) a dose of 5, 04 kg/plot , (K 3 ) dose 10.08 kg/plot . (2) NPK fertilizer treatment consisting of 4 levels: control (M 0 ), dose 0 gr/plot (M 1 ), dose 25.2 gram/plot (M 2 ) dose 50.4 gram/plot (M 3 ) dose of 100.08 gram/plot. With a combination of 16 treatments and each treatment was repeated 3 times so that 48 experimental combinations were obtained. Data analysis using the F test through analysis of variance. Meanwhile, to find out the significance between treatments, the BNJ test was used at the 5% level. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, cob weight with husk, cob weight without husk, weight of wet biomass fresh, weight of dry biomass, dry shelled weight and weight of 100 seeds. The results showed that (1) Goat manure had an effect on the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, weight of wet stover, weight of dry stover, weight of cobs with husks, weight of dry shells, weight of 100 seeds and except for the weight of cobs without husks. (2) NPK fertilizer affects all parameters. (3) The interaction between goat manure (K) and NPK fertilizer (M) had no effect on all parameters. ( 4) Goat manure K3 dose of 10.08 kg/plot gave the highest yield on plant height, number of leaves, weight of wet stover weight dry shelled, weight of 100 seeds and K2 dose of 5.04 kg/plot gave the highest results of dry stover weight, cob weight with husks, cob weight without husks. (5) M2 dose of NPK manure 50.4 gram/plot gave the highest yield on all parameters Keywords: goat manure fertilizer , glutinous corn, NPK fertilizer.

Abstract

The research entitled "The Effect of NPK Fertilizer and setting planting distance on the Growth and Yield of Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench)" aims to determine the effect of various doses of NPK fertilizer and setting planting distance on the growth and yield of sorghum (Sorghum bicolor) (L.) Moench). Conducted in November 2022 to February 2023, at the Tohudan TPH Seed Garden located on Jl. Senden, Merten, Tohudan, Colomadu, Karanganyar, Surakarta. Held in November 2022 to February 2023, at the Tohudan TPH Seed Garden located on Jl. Senden, Merten, Tohudan, Colomadu, Karanganyar, Surakarta. The research method used a Complete Randomized Block Design (CRBD) consisting of 2 factors and 3 repetitions. There are 2 research factors, namely NPK fertilizer dose treatment (N) and setting planting distance (J). Data analysis used analysis of variance (ANOVA) and was tested further with the BNJ test at the 5% level. Parameters observed included height of plants, number of leaves, weight of wet stover, weight of dry stover, number of panicles planted, panicle weight of plants, number of seeds per panicle, weight of panicles seeds. The research results show that 1). The dose of NPK fertilizer had an effect on the parameters of height of plants, wet stover, number of panicles planted, panicle weight of plants. The application of NPK fertilizer dose of 300 kg/ha (N2) resulted in the highest plant panicle weight with an average of 151.08 g equivalent to 12.09 tons/ha. 2). The setting planting distance treatment affected the parameters of height of plants observation, wet stover, dry stover, number of panicles planted, panicle weight of plants, number of seeds per panicle, weight of seeds per panicle. Setting planting distance of 50cm x 25cm (J3) resulted in the highest per panicle seed weight with an average of 85.70 g, equivalent to 6.86 tonnes/ha. 3). The interaction of NPK fertilizer doses and setting planting distance did not significantly affect all observed parameters.

Abstract

This research aims to test the best NPK fertilizer dose on sorghum varieties' growth and yield (Sorghum bicolor L.). The research design used is a Complete Randomized Group Design (RAKL) arranged in a split plot consisting of 2 factors, two factors as follows: Factor Type of Sorghum Plant Variety as the main plot, which consists of 2 varieties as follows: V1 = sorghum variety Numbu and V2 = sorghum variety Kawali. The second factor is the Dosage of NPK Fertilizer as a subplot, which consists of 5 levels as follows: N0 = 0 g NPK Fertilizer Dose (Control), N1 = 1.5 g NPK Fertilizer Dose, N2 = 3.0 g NPK Fertilizer Dose, N3 = 4.5 g NPK Fertilizer Dose, N4 = 6.0 g NPK Fertilizer Dose. The parameters observed were height of plant, number of leaves, fresh weight of stalks, dry weight of stalks, number of panicles per plant, weight of panicles per plant, number of seeds per panicle, and weight of grains per panicle. The results showed that the application of Pak Tani NPK fertilizer with a dose of 250 kg/ha (3.0 gr/plant) gave the best results in sorghum variety Numbu (V1) can be seen in the observation of plant height eight weeks after planting with an average of 188.22 cm, fresh weight of stalks with an average of 949.92 gr and dry weight of stalks with an average of 224.36 gr. The best results in the Kawali variety (V2) can be seen in the observation of the importance of panicles per plant, with an average of 104.84, the number of seeds per plant, with an average of 1961.22 and the weight of seeds per plant with an average of 93.73.

Abstract

Research about the Effect of Dosage Kasgot Fertilizer (Maggot Ex) on the Growth and Yield of Three Varieties of Sweet Corn (Zea mays Saccharata Sturt. L) was carried out in Gempol Village, Karanganom, Klaten at an altitude of 225 meters above sea level, regosol soil type. The research aims to learn the best dose of kasgot organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of 3 varieties of sweet corn (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt. L). This research used the RCBD (Randomized Completely Block Design) method which was arranged in separate plots (Split Plot) with 2 types of treatment factors. The types of treatment used are 3 varieties of sweet corn (bonanza, super sweet, and sweet boy) and kasgot organic fertilizer with 4 doses, K0 (0 gram/polybag), K1 (275 grams/polybag), K2 (375 grams/polybag), and K3 (475 grams/polybag). The data obtained were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The research results show that: (1) The dosage of K3 kasgot organic fertilizer (475 grams/polybag) had a significant effect on the weight of the cobs is bloated, the weight of the cobs without husk, the diameter of cobs, and the number of rows of cobs so that it could increase the production of sweet corn plants. (2) The V2 variety (super sweet variety) provides the best growth while the V3 variety (sweet boy variety) provides the best production results. (3) The interaction of V2K1 treatment (super sweet variety and kasgot organic fertilizer 275 grams/polybag) provided the best growth in plant height with an average of 224.667 cm. The interaction of V2K3 (super sweet variety and kasgot organic fertilizer 475 grams/polybag) gave the best growth in the number of leaves with an average of 19,667cm. The interaction of V1K2 (bonanza variety and kasgot organic fertilizer 375 grams/polybag) provided the best diameter of stem growth with an average of 2,100 cm. The interaction of V3K3 treatment (sweet boy variety and kasgot organic fertilizer 475 grams/polybag) gave the best results on the weight of the cobs is bloated with an average value of 359,000 grams, the weight of cobs without husks with an average value of 264,333 grams, the diameter of cobs with an average value of 4,683 cm, and the number of rows of cobs with an average of 19,000 rows.

Abstract

This study of the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and yield of 3 (three) varieties of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.Moench) aims to examine the concentration of liquid organic fertilizer Nasa on the growth and yield of 3 (three) varieties of okra and find out the best dose. This study used Complete Group Randomized Design (RAKL) arranged in separate plots (Split plot) consisting of 2 factors and repeated 3 times. The two factors are: Okra variety (main plot) (V) with 3 varieties, namely: (V1) Lucky Five okra variety, (V2) Naila okra variety and (V3) Zahira okra variety. The treatment of Nasa liquid organic fertilizer (sub plot) (N) consists of 4 levels, namely: (N0) concentration 0 ml/l, (N1) concentration 5 ml/l, (N2) concentration 10 ml/l, and (N3) concentration 15 ml/l. The results showed that okra varieties had an influence on height of plant parameters, weight of wet stash, weight of dry stash and length of fruit. The Zahira okra variety has the highest plant height with an average namely 70.44 cm, the best weight of wet stash namely 187.79 grams and the best weight of dry stash namely 33.46 grams. While the Naila okra variety shows the average yield of the best length of okra fruit namely 18.02 cm. Nasa liquid organic fertilizer with a concentration of 10 ml / l affects the parameters of height of plant, number of leaves, weight of wet stash, weight of dry stash, number of flowers, diameter of fruits, and weight of fruits. There was no interaction between the treatment of okra varieties and the concentration of Nasa's liquid organic fertilizer. Abstract

Research on the Effect of Giving Goat Manure and Liquid Organic Fertilizer on the Growth and Yield of Purple Eggplant Plants (Solanum melongena L). This research aims to determine the best dose for the growth and yield of purple eggplant (Solanum melongena L). This research was carried out on Jl. Ngudi Kaweruh, Karanglo Lor Village, Sukorejo District, Ponorogo Regency with an altitude of ± 119 meters above sea level with alluvial soil type. The research used the RAKL (Complete Randomized Block Design) with 2 treatment factors which were repeated 3 times and there were 16 treatment combinations. The first factor is the provision of goat manure, consisting of 4 levels, namely: without treatment (control), (200 g/plant), (400 g/plant), and (600 g/plant). The dosage of Nasa liquid organic fertilizer as the second factor consists of 4 levels, namely: without treatment (control), (1 ml/l), (2 ml/l), and (3 ml/l). The observation data was analyzed using analysis of variance (ANOVA) and continued with the BNT test with a level of 5%. The results of the study showed that goat manure had an effect on the parameters height of plant, number of leaves, number of fruit and weight of purple eggplant fruit, while Nasa liquid organic fertilizer had an effect on the parameters height of plant, number of leaves, number of fruit and weight of fruit. The interaction between giving goat manure 600 g/plant and nasa liquid organic fertilizer 3 ml/l effect on weight of fruit (392,50 g). A dose of goat manure of 600 g/plant gave the best results in height of plant (58.92 cm), number of leaves (26.08 pieces), number of fruit (3.33) and weight of fruit (333.63 g), while the fertilizer dose Nasa organic 2 ml/l gave the best results on height of plant (57.92 cm), number of leaves (27.04 pieces), dose of 3 ml/l with number of fruit (3.63 pieces) and weight of fruit (352.00 g ). Abstract

This research aims to assess the use of various doses of manure affect the intensity level of pests and pathogens on white glutinous rice plants. This research was conducted from February 2020 to June 2020, in Dibal Village, Ngemplak District, Boyolali Regency with an altitude place 200 meters above sea level with the type of soil Grumosol. This research method uses a single factor randomized complete block design (RCBD) consisting of 10 kinds of experiments and each was repeated 3 times in order to obtain 30 kinds trial. The results showed that bug pest attacks in 70 days after planting with lowest intensity of pest damage, namely 34.02%. While the symptoms of narrow brown spot disease (Cercospora oryzae) were evenly distributed at 40 days after planting with lowest disease intensity, namely 71.43%. The treatment of goat manure at a dose of 1.35 kg / plot (K3) on white glutinous rice (Oryza sativa L glutinosa) can reduce the intensity of damage to stink bug pests. The treatment of chicken manure at a dose of 4.5 kg / plot on glutinous white rice can reduce the intensity of narrow brown spot disease (Cercospora oryzae) on leaves and stems. Then, the treatment of chicken manure at a dose of 4.5 kg / plot on white glutinous rice plants gave the highest yield on grain weight per plot, namely 1820.90 grams (8.67 tons/ha).

Abstract

In agricultural cultivation technology, there are very influential limiting factors on plant growth and yield, one of which is the presence of fertilization. This research aims to study the composition of Bio fertilizer and Cow manure fertilizer application bean’s growth and yield. This research was conducted from February 25th, 2022 to May 22th, 2022 at Seed Garden of Food Crops and Horticulture Tawangmangu (TPH) Tawangmangu, Karangpandan District, Karanganyar Regency with an altitude place of 1100 meters above sea level and Latosol soil. This research method uses a single factor randomized complete block design (RCBD) consisting of 6 kinds of experiments and each was repeated 4 times in order to obtain 24 kinds trial. The variables used are length of plant, number of leaves, length of root, fresh weight of biomass, dry weight of biomass, the number and weight of pods. The results of this research showed that the composition of biofertilizer and cow fertilizer application has no effect on bean’s growth and yield.

Abstract

There are determining factors in agricultural cultivation technologies that significantly affect plant development and productivity. Fertilization is one of the determining factors in agriculture. This research examines the composition of urea fertilizer and cow manure on kalian growth and yield. This research was conducted from 5 October 2021 to 30 November 2021 in Tunggulrejo Village, Jumapolo, Karanganyar, at an altitude of 700 meters above sea level with red latosol soil. This research used a single-factor Complete Randomized Block Design (RAKL) which consisted of 6 trials, and each was repeated four times to obtain 24 problems. The observational data were analysed using an F test with an error level of 5%. The treatment was continued with the DMRT (Duncan's Multiple Range Test) at an error level of 5% when there was an effect during the treatment. The variables used were plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, fresh plant weight, fresh crown weight, dry crown weight, fresh root weight, and dry root weight. The results of the research indicated that the composition of urea fertilizer and the application of cow manure had a significant effect on the growth of leaves of kalian plants; the best and highest number of leaves was 8 (F): Urea 0% + 100% cow manure per plot while the other parameters did not affect plants.

Abstract

The research titled "Study of Doses of Organic Fertilizers on the Growth and Yield of Cherry Tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme)" sought to find out how different organic fertilizer dosages affected cherry tomato (Solanum lycopersicum var. cerasiforme) growth and yield. The research was carried out in the TPH Tohudan Seed Garden between December 2022 and March 2023. The experimental design used was a fully randomized design (CRD) with a single factor pattern, with each combination of treatments repeated 3 times. The parameters included three categories of organic fertilizers: (1) Goat manure is available in three different quantities per polybag: 150 grams, 300 grams, and 450 grams. (2) Chicken manure is available in three different quantities per polybag: 225 grams, 450 grams, and 675 grams. (3) Vermicompost fertilizer is available in three different quantities per polybag: 300 grams, 600 grams, and 900 grams. (4) There is also an option to choose no fertilizer. The observational data were subjected to statistical analysis using analysis of variance (ANOVA), followed by further tests using Honest Significant Differences (HSD) at a significance level of 5%. The parameters that were recorded consisted of plant height, leaf count, stem circumference, branch count per plant, fruit count per plant, fruit weight, and fruit diameter. The application of chicken dung at a dosage of 675 grams per polybag produced the most favorable outcomes.
