Abstract

Science is developing rapidly, scientific developments can be seen from research conducted in scientific journals. The development of knowledge can be seen from the trend of research topics and trends at a certain time. Pustakaloka Journal is an accredited journal in the field of library and information science. This research was conducted to determine the trend of library and information scientific research. This study used library research with a bibliometric approach using Co-word analysis using VOSviewer. Based on the results of research in 2019-2022 in the last 4 years, it can be seen that there are 202 keywords and 35 clusters. The ten strongest keywords in the journal Pustakaloka: Journal of  Library and Information Sciences are; Libraries (26), Library Services (20), Librarians (19), College Libraries (16), Information Needs (8), Information Literacy (8), Social Media (8), Literacy Skills (7), Literacy (6 ), Digital Literacy (6). Cluster 1 has the biggest keywords indicating the cluster theme absorbs more attention from writers in the Pustakaloka Journal. Then for related subjects are the subject of libraries, librarians, library services and college libraries.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini merupakan program yang dilakukan untuk membantu usaha masyarakat pedagang kaki lima yang berada dibawah binaan Event Organizer (EO) Nusantara Muda Pratama yang beroperasi di pulau Bengkalis Kabupaten Bengkalis. Hal ini sangat diperlukan dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan hidup mereka sehari-hari. Usaha yang dikembangkan adalah kelompok pedangan kaki lima yang berjualan berbagai jenis makanan. Mobile gerobak ini sangat diperlukan ketika lokasi berjualan selalu berpindah-pindah. Mobile gerobak dibuat dengan ukuran Panjang 200 cm, lebar 80 cm dan tinggi 180 cm terbuat dari konstruksi besi hollow galvanis. Material diding terbuat dari GRC serta dilengkapi dengan beberapa fasilitas untuk keperluan berjualan seperti tempat gas, tempat etalase makanan dan tempat peralatan lainnya. Sedangkan untuk mempermudah mobilisasi gerobak ini dilengkapi dengan 2 roda dibagian belakang dan 1 roda dibagian depan agar mudah untuk dipindahkan.

Abstract

Cooperatives face the challenge of improving operational efficiency and competitiveness in the increasingly advanced digital era. This research aims to develop and implement a digital management system to optimize the operations of the Agro Sejahtera Bersama Consumer Cooperative, which currently still uses traditional methods. The proposed system includes the digitization of transaction recording, inventory management, and financial reporting through a web-based platform, allowing real-time monitoring of transactions and inventory. The system development follows the software development lifecycle approach and uses modern web technology that is easily accessible. We conducted the evaluation by analyzing the cooperative's performance before and after the system's implementation, and surveying cooperative members to gauge their levels of satisfaction, transparency, and accountability. The research results show that this digital management system is effective in reducing recording errors, speeding up decision-making, and improving overall operational efficiency. In addition, the implementation of this system contributes to the expansion of the cooperative's marketing network and provides more significant economic benefits to its members. Higher transparency in financial and operational management has also proven to increase members' trust in the cooperative. This research concludes that the digitization of management systems can foster sustainable growth in cooperatives, and other cooperatives seeking a digital transformation can replicate its implementation.

Abstract

The development of the crossing transportation industry is currently increasing in the island areas. The use of Ro-Ro type ferry boats is extremely efficient in moving people, goods, and vehicles. The current research focuses on the damage stability of the 500 DWT Ro-Ro ferry, which aims to meet the needs of the Ro-Ro ferry in the archipelago area. The previously existing initial design of a barge hull with a main size Lpp = 40.15 m, B = 12 m, H = 3.2 m, and T = 2.15 m was used to analyze the damage stability condition further. First, the drawings were redrawn. Then, 3D modeling was performed and the tanks were inspected. The processing of the input data design was finally tested under several criteria based on damage stability in SOLAS 2009. This study concluded whether the 500 DWT Ro-Ro ferry design is acceptable considering damage stability. The GZ value is standardized in the scenario of calcge stability of the Ro-Ro ferry as a whole. Attention should be provided to the range of positive stability in intermediate stages considering the forward damage case, wherein the ship departs and the full load experiences failure.

Abstract

The manuscripts, as part of Indonesian literary works, have been a consistently interesting object of study throughout history. The numbers of these studies raise questions regarding the current growth of manuscript studies in Indonesia. This study aims to describe the growth of manuscript studies through journal articles in Indonesia. The method used is a literature study by searching on the Garuda portal. The keywords used for the search are 'naskah kuno’ and manuscripts. Data presentations are conducted descriptively quantitatively. There are 372 articles that were found that contain manuscript studies. The study of manuscripts has growth over the years. The most rapid growth occurred in 2024, with 59 articles examining manuscripts. The themes of manuscript studies found are quite diverse, such as manuscript searching, preservation, transliteration, and even the creative industry and ancient manuscripts. This paper limited to only one online portal site, but the results of this study are expected to provide an initial overview of the growth of manuscript studies in Indonesia. === Naskah kuno atau terkadang disebut juga dengan manuskrip sebagai bagian dari karya tulis nusantara telah menjadi objek kajian yang selalu menarik dari masa ke masa. Banyaknya kajian tersebut memunculkan sebuah pertanyaan terkait bagaimana perkembangan kajian pernaskahan di Indonesia saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan perkembangan artikel-artikel jurnal yang mengkaji tentang naskah kuno di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka dengan melakukan penelusuran pada portal Garuda. Kata kunci yang digunakan untuk penelusuran adalah naskah kuno dan manuskrip. Pemaparan data dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil temuan terdapat 372 artike kajian tentang pernaskahan di Indonesia. Kajian tentang naskah kuno mengalami perkembangan dari tahun ke tahun. Perkembangan yang sangat pesat terjadi pada tahun 2024, yaitu sejumlah 59 artikel yang mengkaji naskah kuno. Tema kajian naskah kuno yang berhasil ditemukan cukup beragam, seperti penelusuran naskah, preservasi, digitalisasi, alih aksara, sampai dengan industri kreatif dan naskah kuno. Meskipun hanya terbatas pada satu situs portal online saja, namun hasil penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberikan gambaran awal terkait perkembangan kajian pernaskahan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Longitudinal strength is a fundamental aspect of barge structural safety because variations in loading magnitude and load position may significantly affect the global hull girder response. This study evaluates the longitudinal strength of a cargo barge based on shear force and still water bending moment under several loading conditions, with reference to the applicable BKI Rules for longitudinal strength assessment. The object of the study is a cargo barge with principal dimensions of 330 ft × 90 ft × 21 ft and a lightship weight of 1802.9 metric tons. Six loading conditions were investigated, namely lightship, fully loaded, partially loaded at 50% with homogeneously distributed cargo, and three crane-shift positions at the aft, midship, and fore sections. The net load distribution was obtained from the difference between distributed weight and buoyancy, and then integrated to determine the shear force and still water bending moment along the hull. The results show that the fully loaded condition produced the most critical structural response, with a maximum shear force of 0.385 × 10³ metric tons at Frame 50 and a maximum still water bending moment of -6.212 × 10³ metric ton·m at Frame 35, indicating a dominant sagging condition. The governing case reached only 32.49% of the allowable shear force and 33.58% of the allowable still water bending moment, confirming a substantial safety margin. The crane-shift analysis further demonstrates that movable concentrated loads can shift critical internal force locations, which may be overlooked in standard cargo distribution analysis. All evaluated loading conditions remained below the permissible limits, indicating that the barge is structurally acceptable under the investigated still-water loading scenarios.

Abstract

The Polbeng Research Vessel is a small research ship developed by Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis (Polbeng) in collaboration with CV. Fatih Bahari Engineering. The vessel is constructed from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and has principal dimensions of 9 m length overall (LOA), 2.2 m breadth, and 1.2 m depth, powered by an 85 HP outboard engine. This study aims to evaluate the seakeeping and motion comfort performance of the vessel to support research activities involving personnel and onboard equipment. The seakeeping analysis is conducted using a frequency-domain approach based on Response Amplitude Operators (RAOs), where ship motions are evaluated under regular wave conditions. Four operational cases are considered, involving two wave heights (0.2 m and 0.4 m) and two wave encounter directions, namely beam seas (90°) and head seas (180°). Three ship motions are analyzed: heave, roll, and pitch. The results indicate that roll motion in beam seas conditions exhibits the most significant response compared to other motions, which is consistent with the theoretical characteristics of small vessels having shorter restoring arms for roll motion. Overall, the vessel’s motion responses remain within acceptable limits and satisfy established comfort criteria based on NORDFORSK 1987, STANAG 4154, U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), ISO 2631/1, ISO 2631/3, and BS 6841:1987 standards. The findings provide technical insight into the seakeeping behavior and comfort performance of HDPE-based small research vessels and serve as a reference for the design, evaluation, and development of environmentally friendly research and working vessels to enhance operational safety and effectiveness.
