Abstract

Desa Belinteng memiliki potensi wisata alam dan budaya yang belum sepenuhnya dikenal oleh masyarakat luas. Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata Tematik (KKNT) di Desa Belinteng bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ekowisata melalui pembuatan website profil wisata desa. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan visibilitas dan daya tarik Desa Belinteng serta mendukung peningkatan ekonomi lokal melalui pariwisata. Masalah yang dihadapi meliputi kurangnya informasi dan promosi tentang potensi wisata, keterbatasan akses informasi wisata secara online, serta hambatan dalam pengelolaan konten promosi. Tujuan program ini adalah untuk membuat website profil wisata sebagai media promosi yang efektif, meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan ekowisata, dan melatih aparat desa serta masyarakat mengenai pengelolaan website. Kajian literatur menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi informasi, khususnya website, merupakan alat yang efektif dalam promosi pariwisata. Studi-studi sebelumnya menunjukkan bahwa website yang informatif dan menarik dapat meningkatkan minat wisatawan dan mempengaruhi keputusan mereka untuk berkunjung. Dalam konteks pengembangan ekowisata, keterlibatan aktif masyarakat lokal sangat penting untuk keberlanjutan dan keaslian pengalaman wisata. Dengan pelaksanaan program ini, diharapkan Desa Belinteng dapat mengoptimalkan potensi wisatanya dan memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap perekonomian lokal.

Abstract

QR Code which is an abbreviation of Quick Response Code, QR Code is in the form of a square box, similar to a barcode, but with a more detailed appearance. The use of QR Code Technology in this research serves to facilitate identification and confirmation of entrance tickets for swimming pool visitors increase the speed and easy to buy a ticket. The research methodology used in system design is waterfall method. The waterfall method displays simple processes that do not overlap with the SDLC (system development life cycle) model.The programming language used is PHP, with the implementation of the CodeIgniter 3 Framework, and MySQL as the Database management system.The problem that often occurs is when the queue of visitors enters on holidays or days when there are lots of visitors causing long queues and less efficiency in ticket sales operations and the process of entering visitors to the swimming pool.This research aims to improve the user's operational system in ordering tickets which must initially be done come directly to the swimming pool location and in the new system visitors can purchase tickets online and operational efficiency of the MC Swimming Pool through the application of QR Code technology on the website, it makes the process of checking ticket data easier so that visitors can enter the swimming pool area The result of this research is to create an information system plan that allows users to order tickets online and visitors can enter the swimming pool area quickly and easily using a QR code as a visitor entry ticket.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a web-based promotion catalog system to support the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Pekan Kuala. With increasing competition in the marketplace, the MSMEs sector needs an effective platform to promote products and services to a wider audience. The proposed system is built using a web-based framework, offering an accessible and user-friendly interface that enables MSMEs to manage and showcase their products online. To ensure an efficient development process, this project adopts the Agile Scrum methodology, which emphasizes iterative progress, adaptability, and close collaboration between stakeholders. The system was developed in phases, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, and testing. Agile Scrum allowed for continuous feedback and improvements, resulting in a flexible and scalable solution. The final product not only streamlines the promotion process for MSMEs but also enhances their online visibility, potentially boosting sales and market reach. The system’s usability and effectiveness were evaluated through user testing, with positive feedback from both MSMEs participants and potential customers. This research highlights the benefits of Agile Scrum in developing tailored digital solutions for local businesses and underscores the potential of web-based systems in empowering small enterprises.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a QR Code-based attendance system as an innovation in managing student attendance at SMA Negeri 1 Binjai. Traditional paper-based or manual attendance systems often take a long time, are prone to errors, and are inefficient in archiving student attendance data. To overcome these obstacles, a QR Code-based attendance system was developed using scanning technology that allows each student to take attendance quickly and accurately. Using research and development methods, this system was designed through the stages of needs analysis, system design, development, and testing in the school environment. This system uses a mobile device combined with an online database, so that attendance data can be directly stored and accessed by the school in real-time. The test results showed that the QR Code-based attendance system was able to reduce attendance time from around 5 minutes to 1-2 minutes per class, increase the accuracy of attendance data recording, and automatically save data in the database. Surveys of users, namely students and teachers, showed a positive response, with 87% of students feeling that attendance was easier and more efficient, while teachers stated that this system reduced the administrative burden. This system also provides added value in terms of transparency, accuracy, and ease of access for teachers, students, and parents. This innovation is expected to be a solution in more modern and effective attendance management in other schools

Abstract

This study aims to design and build a web-based financial report management information system at PT Sapta Alamku Jaya to improve efficiency and effectiveness in managing financial reports. Currently, the company still uses Microsoft Excel, which causes problems in the reporting process and data storage, so inefficiencies often occur. To overcome this, the proposed system uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, which allows rapid system development with an iterative approach. The system uses PHP Framework for web development and MySQL as the database. The results showed that the developed system could facilitate the admin in managing financial data and improve the accuracy and speed of the reporting process.

Abstract

Community service plays an important role in encouraging the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), which are the backbone of the national economy. Amidst the challenges of globalization and digitalization, many MSMEs face difficulties in competing, especially in terms of developing branding and utilizing digital technology for marketing. This condition is also experienced by MSMEs in Pekan Kuala Village, which still lack awareness and skills related to effective branding and the implementation of digital marketing strategies. Therefore, mentoring and strengthening MSMEs through branding and digital marketing approaches are important to increase business competitiveness and expand market access. The purpose of this community service program is to strengthen the capacity of MSMEs in Pekan Kuala Village through direct coaching in building brand identity (branding) and utilizing digital media in marketing strategies. Community service partners consist of local MSMEs operating in various sectors, with a focus on businesses that have the potential to develop through strengthening aspects of branding and digital marketing. The implementation methods used in this community service include counseling, training, and intensive mentoring. This activity begins with an analysis of the needs of MSME partners, followed by training on basic branding concepts and digital marketing techniques using platforms such as social media and online marketplaces. In addition, assistance is also provided in the preparation of creative content and targeted digital marketing strategies. Interim results show an increase in participants' understanding of the importance of branding and digitalization, with 85% of MSMEs successfully creating logos and simple marketing content. In addition, around 70% of the assisted MSMEs have actively used social media for promotion. Thus, this assistance program contributes to increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era.

Abstract

Internship programmes are an important part of strengthening student competencies, particularly in preparing them for the complex and dynamic world of work. This article discusses the implementation of student internships in the Computer Systems Study Programme at SMEC Eye Hospital in Medan as part of community service aimed at improving students' soft skills, professional ethics, and adaptability in a public service environment. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study design, involving four students over three months in the medical records unit, general administrative services, and BPJS services. The results showed significant improvements in work responsibility, interpersonal communication, and awareness of work ethics. Students successfully achieved the target of archiving at least 150 files per day and demonstrated effective communication skills in serving patients and collaborating with hospital staff. Field supervisors noted that the students were quick learners and adept at performing their tasks. The discussion in this article links these findings to relevant literature, reinforcing the importance of cross-sector collaboration between technology education institutions and healthcare services. This article recommends expanding the number of internship participants, using quantitative evaluative instruments, and strengthening the integration of students into the hospital's digital system in the future.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of information technology has made a major contribution in various fields, including the education sector. One important aspect in the world of education is an accurate, efficient, and easily accessible student learning outcome reporting system. Sahabat Al-Qur'an School faces challenges in managing conventional report cards that are still manual, so it requires a digital-based solution to improve efficiency and transparency in delivering academic information. This study aims to design and build a web-based digital report card application by implementing the Agile method. The Agile method was chosen because of its ability to provide flexibility in developing software iteratively and adaptively to user needs. The application developed in this study provides various main features, such as automatic value recording, digital report creation, recapitulation of learning outcomes, and accessibility of reports for parents and students online. With this system, teachers can more easily manage student academic data, minimize errors in processing values, and improve the efficiency of school administration. System testing was carried out using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that the application functions according to user needs without any errors in the data input and output process. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of a web-based digital report application at the Sahabat Al-Qur'an School is able to increase efficiency in managing academic data and provide easy access for all interested parties, thus creating a more modern and effective academic reporting system. Keywords: Digital Report Card, Agile Method, School, Web, Grade Management. Abstrak: Perkembangan teknologi informasi telah memberikan kontribusi besar dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk sektor pendidikan. Salah satu aspek penting dalam dunia pendidikan adalah sistem pelaporan hasil belajar siswa yang akurat, efisien, dan mudah diakses. Sekolah Sahabat Al-Qur'an menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan raport konvensional yang masih berbasis manual, sehingga membutuhkan solusi berbasis digital untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan transparansi dalam penyampaian informasi akademik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun aplikasi raport digital berbasis web dengan menerapkan metode Agile. Metode Agile dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam memberikan fleksibilitas dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak secara iteratif dan adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini menyediakan berbagai fitur utama, seperti pencatatan nilai secara otomatis, pembuatan raport digital, rekapitulasi hasil belajar, serta aksesibilitas laporan bagi orang tua dan siswa secara daring. Dengan adanya sistem ini, guru dapat lebih mudah dalam mengelola data akademik siswa, meminimalisir kesalahan dalam pengolahan nilai, serta meningkatkan efisiensi administrasi sekolah. Pengujian sistem dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk memastikan bahwa aplikasi berfungsi sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna tanpa adanya kesalahan dalam proses input dan output data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi aplikasi raport digital berbasis web pada Sekolah Sahabat Al-Qur'an mampu meningkatkan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan data akademik serta memberikan kemudahan akses bagi seluruh pihak yang berkepentingan, sehingga menciptakan sistem pelaporan akademik yang lebih modern dan efektif. Kata kunci: Raport Digital, Metode Agile, Sekolah, Web, Pengelolaan Nilai

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem manajemen berbasis web yang dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelayanan di Kantor Lurah Kuala Langkat. Sistem ini diciptakan untuk menyederhanakan proses pengelolaan data administrasi, seperti pendaftaran, pengelolaan surat, dan pengarsipan dokumen secara digital. Metodologi yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pengembangan perangkat lunak dengan pendekatan terstruktur, yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, desain, pembangunan, dan pengujian sistem. Dalam perancangan sistem, digunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySQL sebagai basis data, dengan tujuan untuk mempermudah pengelolaan data secara daring dan memastikan aksesibilitas yang lebih baik bagi pegawai dan masyarakat. Hasil dari studi ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi praktis untuk mengurangi pemakaian kertas, mempercepat proses administrasi, serta meningkatkan akurasi dan keamanan data di Kantor Lurah Kuala Langkat. Dengan adanya sistem manajemen berbasis web ini, diharapkan pelayanan publik di tingkat kelurahan dapat menjadi lebih transparan, efisien, dan terorganisir

Abstract

Pohon aren (Arenga pinnata) merupakan salah satu tanaman penting dalam sektor pertanian yang memiliki nilai ekonomi tinggi di berbagai wilayah. Namun, produksi dan kualitas pohon aren sering kali terganggu oleh serangan penyakit. Proses identifikasi dan diagnosis penyakit pada pohon aren memerlukan keahlian khusus yang seringkali tidak dimiliki oleh semua petani atau tenaga ahli di lapangan. Oleh karena itu, sistem pakar berbasis teknologi dapat menjadi solusi efektif dalam memberikan diagnosis awal serta rekomendasi pengendalian penyakit.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem pakar diagnostik penyakit pada pohon aren menggunakan metode certainty factor (CF). Metode CF dipilih karena mampu mengukur derajat kepastian dalam penentuan diagnosis berdasarkan gejala yang teramati, sehingga menghasilkan output diagnosis yang lebih akurat dan sesuai dengan kondisi nyata di lapangan. Sistem pakar ini dirancang untuk menganalisis berbagai gejala yang diinput pengguna dan memberikan kemungkinan jenis penyakit serta tingkat keparahan berdasarkan nilai CF yang dihitung dari aturan dan bobot kepercayaan pakar.Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pakar ini mampu mengidentifikasi jenis penyakit pohon aren dengan tingkat akurasi yang baik, serta memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna dalam mengakses informasi terkait gejala dan solusi pengendalian penyakit. Diharapkan, sistem pakar ini dapat membantu petani dan penyuluh pertanian dalam melakukan diagnosis dini, sehingga langkah-langkah pencegahan dan penanganan penyakit dapat diterapkan dengan lebih tepat.
