Abstract

The main problem in this study is the low level of students critical thinking skills (CTS) in chemistry learning caused by ineffective learning models that do not support CTS development. The importance of CTS has not been reflected in classroom practices. Therefore, this study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a TPACK-integrated discovery learning-based E-worksheet in improving students CTS on colloidal materials. This research uses the research and development (RD) method with the ADDIE model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research subject CTS consisted of five validators and 33 students of class XII Science 1 at SMAN 1 Alalak. Data were collected using test and non-test instruments, and analyzed descriptively to determine the levels of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the developed e-worksheet. The results show that: (1) the e-worksheet is highly valid based on content, presentation, language, and media aspect CTS; (2) it is very practical based on readability tests, student and teacher responses, and teacher ability and learning implementation observations; and (3) it is effective, as evidenced by the significant improvement of students CTS categorized as high. In conclusion, the TPACK-integrated discovery learning-based e-worksheet is valid, practical, and effective as a teaching material in chemistry learning on colloidal materials to enhance students CTS

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Scaffolding Question Prompt-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) in improving students' self-efficacy in science learning on the topic of Earth Structure. This study used a quantitative descriptive design involving 30 students of grade VIII-B at MTs Alif Laam Miim Surabaya in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected using a self-efficacy questionnaire developed based on Bandura's indicators and measured using a five-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed descriptively using percentage categorization and statistically using Paired Sample Test. The results showed an increase in the average self-efficacy score from 62.00 (pretest) to 83.33 (posttest) with a significance value of 0.000 (0.05), indicating a significant difference before and after treatment. The categorical shift from "moderate" to "high-very high" further confirms the increase. Therefore, Scaffolding Question Prompt-based LKPD is effective in strengthening students' self-efficacy and supporting more active and independent science learning.

Abstract

Joint pain, mild inflammation, and swelling are common health complaints among older adults and often interfere with daily activities and quality of life. In rural communities, older adults frequently rely on medical drugs without adequate knowledge of complementary traditional therapies. Durian (Durio zibethinus) leaves are locally available and traditionally believed to have anti-inflammatory properties; however, limited knowledge regarding their benefits, preparation, and safe use restricts their optimal utilization among older adults. This community service program employed a pre–post test design with a one-group approach. The participants consisted of 10 older adults aged 60 years and above living in Rambah Tengah Utara Village. The intervention was a health education session focusing on the benefits, preparation methods, and safe traditional use of durian leaves to manage mild inflammation and joint pain. Educational methods included lectures, discussions, and the use of leaflets and posters. Data on participants' knowledge were collected before and after the intervention using a structured questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and supported by statistical comparison of pre- and post-intervention scores using Wilcoxon signed-rank test. The results showed a significant improvement in participants' knowledge after the health education intervention. The mean pre-test score was 4.8 ± 1.3, which increased to 8.7 ± 0.9 in the post-test (p < 0.001). All participants (100%) demonstrated increased understanding of the benefits of durian leaves, appropriate preparation techniques, and limitations of their use as complementary therapy for joint pain and mild inflammation. Health education on the traditional use of durian leaves effectively improves older adults' knowledge regarding complementary management of joint pain and mild inflammation. Community-based educational interventions utilizing local resources are recommended to support health promotion and improve the quality of life of older adults.

Abstract

Penggunaan obat yang rasional merupakan bagian terpenting dalam sistem pelayanan kesehatan. Pada saat seseorang individu atau masyarakat mengalami suatu penyakit sering kali langsung mengambil langkah awal yaitu dengan mengobati dirinya sendiri (Swamedikasi) dengan membeli obat-obatan yang dijual bebas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Rasionalitas Penggunaan Obat Analgetik Dan Antiinflamasi Dalam Upaya Swamedikasi Pada Masyarakat Desa Simpangan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian non-eksperimental dengan rancangan penelitian secara observasional analitik dengan desain descriptivecross-sectional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 100 responden yang dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data digunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, secara simultan semua variable (tepat dosis, tepat indikasi, tepat diagnosis, tepat obat). Rasionalitas Penggunaan Obat Analgetik Dan Antiinflamasi Dalam Upaya Swamedikasi Pada Masyarakat Desa Simpangan dengan nilai p-value 0,002(<0,05). Sedangkan secara parsial, semua variabel kecuali variabel diagnosis Rasionalitas Penggunaan Obat Analgetik Dan Antiinflamasi Dalam Upaya Swamedikasi Pada Masyarakat Desa Simpangan didapatkan nilai P sebesar 0,040 sehingga nilai p < 0,05. Abstract

Based on field findings, fluctuations in company partners were found to be caused by suboptimal employee performance. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of entrepreneurial profile and work-family support on employee performance at PT ABMAG Kota Metro. This research was quantitative. The explanatory survey method used a saturated sample, with 73 PT ABMAG employees. A 60-item Likert-type questionnaire was used as a measurement tool, and multiple regression analysis was used. The results showed that entrepreneurial profile had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT ABMAG Kota Metro. Work-family support had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT ABMAG Kota Metro. Both entrepreneurial profile and work-family support had a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT ABMAG Kota Metro.
