Abstract

Dalam perkembangan kesenian Rudat Banten di Kecamatan Kasemen akan mengkaji konsep mengenai: deskripsi sejarah awal terbentuknya kesenian Rudat Banten di Provinsi Banten, deskripsi perkembangan kesenian Rudat Banten di Kecamatan Kasemen Kota Serang Provinsi Banten Tahun 2013-2018, dan upaya yang dilakukan masyarakat untuk melestarikan kesenian Rudat sebagai Warisan Budaya Tak Benda di Kecamatan Kasemen Kota Serang Provinsi Banten Tahun 2013-2018. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode historis yang terdiri dari heuristik, kritik, interpretasi dan historiografi. Kesenian Rudat merupakan perpaduan seni gerak dan vokal diiringi tabuhan Rebana. Syair yang dilantunkan merupakan syair shalawat dan zikir. Awal munculnya kesenian Rudat Banten dibawa oleh Sunan Gunung Jati dan para utusannya untuk menyebarkan agama Islam di Banten. Pada perkembangannya kesenian Rudat Banten di tahun 2013-2018 telah mengalami perkembangan yang cukup baik, hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan terjadinya perkembangan pada busana, alat musik, pemain dan syair yang digunakan. Dalam upaya melestarikannya terdapat sebuah tantangan yang muncul dari adaptasi masyarakat yakni: Masyarakat menginginkan penampilan yang lebih menarik, Adanya tuntutan kebutuhan ekonomi dari masyarakat, Ketidaksanggupan para komunitas Rudat Banten dalam memenuhi kebutuhan alat-alat penunjang pementasan. Kemudian diberikannya tanggapan atas tantangan yang dimunculkan dengan melakukan beberapa upaya seperti: dilakukannya penambahan fungsi dan melakukan kolaborasi pada setiap pementasan kesenian Rudat Banten, diusulkannya kesenian Rudat Banten sebagai WBTB, mempromosikan Rudat Banten melalui acara-acara pernikahan, khitanan, memperingati HUT Kota Serang dan festival-festival dan adanya perhatian lebih dari pemerintah kepada komunitas Rudat Banten.Kata Kunci: Kesenian Rudat, Penambahan Fungsi, Upaya Pelestarian.In the development of Art Rudat Banten in Kasemen District will examine the concept of a description of the early history of the formation of Banten Rudat art in Banten Province, a description of the development of Art Rudat Banten in Kasemen District of Serang City of Banten Province in 2013-2018, and efforts made by the community to preserve Rudat art as Intangible Cultural Heritage in Kasemen District of Serang City of Banten Province In 2013-2018. The method used is a historical method consisting of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Rudat art is a combination of motion and vocal art accompanied by a tambourine. The verses that are chanted are verses of shalawat and remembrance. The beginning of the emergence of The Art of Rudat Banten was brought by Sunan Gunung Jati and his envoys to spread Islam in Banten. In the development of Rudat Banten art in 2013-2018 has experienced quite good development, it is evidenced by the development in fashion, musical instruments, players, and verses used. To preserve it there is a challenge that arises from the adaptation of society, namely: The community wants a more attractive appearance, there are demands for economic needs from the community, the inability of the Community of Rudat Banten in meeting the needs of staging support tools. Then he gave a response to the challenges raised by making several efforts such as the addition of functions and collaboration on every art performance of Rudat Banten, the proposed art of Rudat Banten as WBTB, promoting Rudat Banten through wedding events, circumcision, commemorating the Anniversary of Serang City and festivals and more attention from the government to the Community of Rudat Banten.Keywords: Rudat Art, Addition of Function, Preservation Efforts

Abstract

This study aims to provide a historical description of the development of education in Weltevreden (Nieuw Batavia) in the early 20th century. After the move from Oud Batavia to Weltevreden, it also had an impact on the development of education as a community need at that time in the new urban planning system. The method used in this study is the historical method which includes the stages of heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. Data collection techniques with literature studies of relevant sources. The historical and archaeological facts found show that there are remains that form the basis of the argument for the development of education in Weltevreden. Starting with the emergence of the Javanese medical school (STOVIA) as a pioneer in education in the health sector. Then continued with the establishment of the law school Rechtshoogeschool (RHS) until the formation of the indigenous elite who were partly members of the Volksraad.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui terkait sejarah pemikiran pendidikan KH. TB. Achmad Chatib di Banten pada tahun 1948-1966. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah, yang meliputi heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa saat memperjuangkan kemerdekaan Indonesia, terjadi perlawanan militer, perlawanan keagamaan, dan pemikiran. Salah satu tokoh pejuang dan ulama di Banten yaitu KH. TB. Achmad Chatib yang merupakan residen (gubernur) pertama di Banten setalah Indonesia merdeka, peran KH. TB. Achmad Chatib pada masa kolonialisme berupaya menciptakan nilai nasionalisme pemuda Banten. Perjuangannya tidak hanya dilakukan melalui perjuangan fisik, tetapi beliau juga berjuang melalui pemikiran khususnya dalam bidang pendidikan. Dalam bidang pendidikan KH. TB. Achmad Chatib menggagas buah pikiran yang diimplementasikan dalam wujud lembaga pendidikan. 1) Masarratul Muhtajin yaitu lembaga pendidikan yang bergerak dibidang nonformal untuk mengembangkan ilmu keagamaan, 2) Masarratul Muta’allimin yaitu lembaga pendidikan yang bergerak dibidang formal untuk mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan umum, 3) Masarratut Tanjih yaitu lembaga sosial masyarakat untuk menjaga dan merawat peninggalan kesultanan Banten.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the history, development building form, and explain the function of Tjo Soe Kong Temple in Tanjung Kait. Historical methods used in research consisting heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results showed that the establishment of the Tjo Soe Kong Temple was related Kongco Tjo Soe Kong to the expansion of sugarcane land. The construction was carried out by residents of Chinese descent were immigrants from Anxi district, in early decades of the 18th century to be precise in 1792, and has undergone several physical changes the building with addition of modern construction. First renovation in 1959, condition the building was made of wood, bamboo and blocks were replaced with bricks and cement to strengthen the building. Second renovation in 2018, namely repairing the roof, walls, poles, fences, and ornaments. As well as the structure of the wall construction is coated with granite which serves to add to the impression of beauty of the building without losing its original shape. Establishment of the Tjo Soe Kong Temple follows general rules of feng shui but not completely. The function of the temple building is use as a place of worship for Buddhists, center for social activities and assimilation of arts, historical marker of development of Chinese community, a place where spiritual teachings also used for recreation because it’s crowded with visitors and open to public. Addition of red bridge building with fish pond to enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Tjo Soe Kong Temple.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the project based learning model in Indonesian history subjects on the material of the Japanese occupation in Indonesia on the critical thinking skills of XI MIPA class students at SMA Negeri 1 Pagaden in Subang. The method used in this research is quasi-experimental method using pretest-posttest control group design. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sample with XI MIPA 1 class of 34 students as experimental class using project based learning model and XI MIPA 2 class of 33 students as control class using discovery learning model. Based on the results of data analysis, it is obtained that there is an effect of using the project based learning model on the material of the Japanese occupation in Indonesia on students' critical thinking skills. Based on the results of the t test analysis, the tcount value of 4.42 is not equal to ttable value of 1.67 with a significance level of 0.05, so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, so there is an effect of the application of the project based learning model on the material of the Japanese occupation in Indonesia on the critical thinking skills of XI MIPA class students at SMA Negeri 1 Pagaden in Subang. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the Mind Map-based Discovery Learning model on students' historical thinking abilities in history learning. The research method used is quantitative experimentation. Sampling uses non-sampling techniques. Data analysis shows that there is a significant influence on students' historical thinking abilities when using the Mind Map based Discovery Learning learning model and the Problem-based learning model. This is based on a historical ability hypothesis study with independent t-test calculations, it is known that the test value is 11.400 with sig. (2 tailed). 001 (sig. 2-tailed) < 0.05. It can be concluded that Mind Map media has an influence on the history abilities of students at SMAN 1 Pontang. Based on the research results, the Discovery Learning learning model can be recommended in history learning because it attracts curiosity and increases the ability to think historically. Students are able to understand basic concepts and good ideas to sharpen and improve cognitive skills and processes by enthusiastically following history learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan objek sekolah tersebut yang kurangnya bahan ajar yang bervariatif serta wawasan pengetahuan tentang materi sejarah lokal yang belum banyak diketahui. Namun guru tetap berinisiatif untuk memberikan penugasan mencari informasi melalui internet. Penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis digital yang menarik disertai gambar dan narasi merupakan bahan ajar yang diinginkan oleh siswa. Untuk mengatasa permasalahan tersebut, peneliti mengembangkan produk bahan ajar digital yang bisa membantu guru dan siswa dalam mempelajari dan menggali informasi yang belum banyak diketahui terkait peristiwa sejarah. Bahan ajar yang ditawarkan oleh peneliti adalah bahan ajar berbentuk flipbook yang memuat sejarah lokal mengenai ruwat bumi. Digital flipbook ini dipilih karena dapat memudahkan siswa dalam memahami Tradisi Ruwat Bumi Masyarakat Desa Kepuren dan membuat siswa lebih tertarik mempelajarinya. Bahan ajar berbentuk digital flipbook dapat dipelajari oleh siswa dimana saja dan kapan saja. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian R&D (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model ADDIE. Berdasarkan penilaian kelayakan ahli bahasa mendapatkan nilai 95,38%, ahli materi mendapatkan nilai 94,73%, serta ahli media mendapatkan nilai 95,71%, kemudian didapatkan hasil bahwa ketiga ahli validator tersebut memberikan penilaian dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Adapun hasil penilaian dari uji kepraktisan guru termasuk pada kategori “sangat praktis” dengan persentase 91,66%. Sedangkan pada hasil uji coba kepraktisan oleh 20 orang siswa termasuk pada kategori “sangat praktis” dengan persentase 83% dan mampu menarik motivasi siswa dalam menggunakan bahan ajar digital flipbook dalam pembelajaran sejarah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect  of the problem based learning  model  on students critical thinking skills of class XI students at SMA Negeri 5 Serang City. This research was conducted from May 2024 to October 2024. The research method used was quasi-experiment. The sampling technique in this study used a type of non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The research sample totalled 43 students in class XI-S1 as the experimental group and 44 students in class XI-S2 as the control group. The instrument used in this study was a 10-item description test. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a two-party t-test with the polled variant formula obtained the value of t_hitung (10.6) ≥ t_table (1.99). with α = 0.05 so that HO is rejected and H1 is accepted. This shows that there is an effect of problem based learning  model on critical thinking skills of class XI students at SMAN 5 Serang City on the material of Japanese Occupation in Indonesia. The problem-based learning model can be used as a recommendation for learning models to implement history learning and train students‘ critical thinking skills, this is because the problem-based learning model can construct historical knowledge about past problems and focuses on how students think in solving problems so that it can train students’ critical thinking skills. However, the problem-based learning model also has a disadvantage in that it requires more time to implement the stages of the problem-based learning model.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk untuk memberikan wawasan yang lebih jelas mengenai peran orang tua dalam pendidikan anak dan bagaimana mereka dapat berkontribusi secara positif dalam proses belajar anak. Kegiatan berlokasi di desa Bale Kencana RT 01 Kecamatan Mancak Kabupaten Serang. Sasaran adalah ibu-ibu dan remaja Majlis Ta’lim Darul Amal Kaduheas. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Hasil penelitian  ini memberikan  pemahaman kepada orang tua mengenai pentingnya menumbuhkan minat belajar anak sejak dini, mengenali bagaimana meluangkan waktu untuk belajar bersama, menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung, mendorong kemandirian, dan membangun komunikasi yang terbuka. Sehingga orang tua dapat menjadi fasilitator anak dalam mengembangkan minat belajar anak baik di rumah maupun di mana saja.

Abstract

This research is motivated byThe problem with the school's objects is the lack of varied teaching materials and knowledge about local history material that is not widely known.To overcome these problems, the teaching materials offered by the researcher are teaching materials in the form of digital booklets containing a historical event in the Sunda Strait. The type of research used is R&D (Research and Development) research using the ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Based on the assessment of the feasibility of the material expert getting a score of 91%, the language expert getting a score of 98%, and the media expert getting a score of 88%, then the results were obtained that the three expert validators gave an assessment in the category of "very feasible". The results of the assessment of the teacher's practicality test are included in the category of "very practical" with a percentage of 83%. While the results of the practicality assessment of 28 students are included in the category of "very practical" with a percentage of 88.3% and are able to attract student motivation in using digital booklet teaching materials in history learning.
