Abstract

The aim of study is to develop digital technology that can be used to provide question banks at the Nurul Qur’an Islamic boarding Scholl in Ponorogo. The Backgrounds of this reserch is need for an effective yet efficient and systematic learning evaluation system, considering that manual question creation often takes a long time and can lead to discrepancies in standars. The method applied in this reserch is the ABCD (Asset- Based Community Development). This approach focuses on utilizing the assets and potentials owned by the Pesantren or Nurul Qur’an Islamic Boarding Scholl, both in terms of human resources, Infrastrukture, and community support, as the basis for designing educational innovations. The reserch process includes indentifying available assets, building collaboration among pesantren parties, developing a digital- based questions bank system, and implementing and strengthening the sustainability of the program, and implementing this program collaboration the method applied this research ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) Development model which includes steps to analyze needs, design the system, develop this application, implement it in the boarding school environtment, and evaluate iit effectiveness. The result of the study indicate that the use of digitally-based question banks can assist teachers un organizing questions, improving the quality of learning evaluations, and providing faster and more organized access for student and educators. Therefore, the development of this digital technology is expected to be an innovative solution to support the modernization of the education system in Islamic boarding schools without eliminating the existing traditional values.

Abstract

The digital era has transformed the landscape of da'wah communication, where social media such as Instagram has become a strategic space for preachers to convey religious messages more interactively and massively. Gus Bahru Zamzami is present as one of the young cleric figures who actively utilizes the Instagram platform (@bahruzamzami) to convey religious teachings, and influence the behavior of audiences, especially the younger generation. This study aims to analyze Gus Bahru Zamzami's persuasive communication strategy on Instagram using the Theory of Planned Behavior framework, which focuses on its three main components: attitude toward behavior, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. This study uses a qualitative approach with a netnography method, where primary data is obtained from observations of all content on the @bahruzamzami Instagram account, including feeds, stories, and reels. The unit of analysis is each post containing a persuasive message to invite, change, or strengthen the attitudes and behavior of followers. The data analysis technique is carried out through qualitative content analysis. The research results show that Gus Bahru's communication strategy successfully integrated the three pillars of the TPB holistically and contextually. In shaping attitudes, he linked expected behaviors with instrumental benefits and religio-cultural values. In the subjective norm aspect, religious authority such as sacred texts, the wisdom of scholars, and the vision of Islam as rahmatan lil 'alamin (blessing for all the universe) was used to create positive social pressure. Meanwhile, perceived behavioral control was realized through the presentation of applicable operational models, such as living examples, which facilitated the audience's internalization of these values.

Abstract

Abstract

Background: Theobroma cacao was considered agricultural wastes. Cocoa pod husk contain various bioactive compounds as natural antioxidants, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. A good biomaterial must be non-toxic and have no detrimental effect on the biological environment. The aim of research was to determine the cytotoxicity and proliferative activity of cocoa pod husk extract on primary cells of periodontal ligament fibroblasts. Method: This experimental laboratory used primary cell culture of periodontal ligament fibroblasts. The cytotoxicity and proliferative activity were analyzed by MTT assay [2-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl tetrazolium bromide]. Extraction of cacao pods were obtained using the ultrasonic homogenizer method with ethanol 70%. The cytotoxicity test was observed for 24 hours and the doubling time proliferative test was observed for 24, 48, and 72 hours. Result: Cocoa pod husk extract showed there were no cytotoxic effects with viability of primary cells of periodontal ligament fibroblasts at the concentration of 1.56 pg/ml, 3.125 pg/ml, 6.25 pg/ml, 12.5 pg/ml, 25 pg/ml, 50 pg/ml, and 100 pg/ml. The proliferation test showed increasing of fibroblasts at 24 and 48 hours. Kruskal Wallis analysis obtained a significance value (p<0.05) Conclusion: Cytotoxicity and proliferation assays of Cocoa pod husk extract increased cell viability and cell proliferation of periodontal ligament fibroblast.

Abstract

Introduction: Based on epidemiological data, the periodontitis prevalence in Indonesia reached 96.58%. Periodontitis is a periodontal disease caused by specific microorganisms causing attachment loss, alveolar bone resorption, and periodontal pocket. The pocket which is more than 6 mm couldn’t be carried out using standard care. Therefore bone grafting is needed to fix the bone defect. Cowhide Gelatin nanoparticle (GNPs) combined with Titanium-Prepared Platelet-Rich Fibrin (T-PRF) is an innovative healing of periodontitis. Objective: To review the potential of cowhide gelatin nanoparticles combined with titanium-prepared platelet-rich fibrin (T-PRF) as an innovation in the healing of periodontitis defects. Literature review: Cowhide GNPs are the main ingredients for the bone replacement, which are nano-sized, biocompatible, bioactive, osteoconductive, non-toxic, and have a porous structure that supports the drug-delivery process. T-PRF contains platelets, fibrin, growth factors that can stimulate bone regeneration. Discussion: GNPs support the attachment and proliferation of osteoblast cells and the formation of mineralized bone matrix. The contents of T-PRF, which are fibrin, platelets, and growth factors, one of TGF-β1 will produce bone formation and periodontal healing in the large number. Moreover, T-PRF has leukocyte-fibrin, which may give an antibacterial effect. Thus, GNPs combined with T-PRF have more potent properties that support each other in carrying out their functions to stimulate the healing process. Conclusion: The combination of cowhide gelatin nanoparticles (GNPs) and titanium-prepared platelet-rich fibrin (T-PRF) has the potential to be effective in bone regeneration in periodontitis defects.
