Abstract

Kegiatan PPM ini bertujuan melatih guru IPA SD UPTD Piyungan mampu mengembangkan RPP, kisi-kisi dan item untuk meningkatkan kreativitas peseerta didik.Kegiatan PPM ini dilaksanakan dengan ceramah, tanya jawab, dan praktik. Kegiatan praktik meliputi (a)  penulisan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), penggunaan LKPD serta item pengukurnya. Pertemuan kegiatan pendampingan dengan menyajikan hasil pembelajaran dan hasil pengukurannya. Kegiatan diikuti 22 guru kelas IV atas kesepakatan pengabdi dan pengawas.Hasil yang dicapai pada pertemuan pertama hanya sebagian kecil guru berhasil disusun RPP, LKS,  dan kisi-kisi serta item namun setelah diberi bimbingan, para peserta sudah tahu kesalahannya dan bersedia memperbaiki. Pada pertemuan kedua, ada 2 guru yang tidak hadir. Guru melaporkan hasil pengukuran kreativitas dan cara penskorannya. Untuk penulisan soal dan cara penskoran, masih ada 1 dari 20 guru yang belum melaksanakan dengan benar. Kata Kunci: kreativitas, keterampilan proses sains, aspek kehidupan, konstruksi item

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the independent internship program organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology within the Sociology Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, State University of Jakarta using the CIPP evaluation model. The CIPP evaluation model focuses on 4 aspects, namely Context, Input, Process, Product. The type of approach used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of this study show that based on: (1) Context evaluation is still not optimal, because the involvement of Sociology students only ranges from 15% of batches 1-4 and in batch 4, especially the class of 2020, there are only 4 students who pass the Independent Internship program. Then the vision, mission, and objectives of the Sociology study program are considered to be in accordance with the objectives of the implementation of the Independent Internship program. (2) Input evaluation has been going well, due to the availability of human resources, facilities, and budget funds that are well met. Preparation for the implementation of the Independent Internship has also been well prepared by the Sociology study program and the company, and has had good quality human resources and are competent in their fields. (3) The evaluation process has run well, because it is supported by the study program and participants also have a high level of satisfaction with the Independent Internship program, both from experience, mentors, nor work. Then the effectiveness of excellent mentor assistance makes participants have no significant obstacles in the registration process until the internship program ends. (4) Product evaluation has also been carried out well, because this Independent Internship program can significantly improve the abilities and skills of participants. In addition, participants gain direct work experience and are actively involved in the company, so that participants get professional relationships and clear career paths.

Abstract

Pewarnaan bakteri merupakan salah satu materi dari Praktikum Mikrobiologi yang harus ditempuh oleh mahasiswa di salah satu Program Studi Vokasi Kesehatan. Penggunaan pewarna bakteri sintetis berbahaya terhadap manusia dan lingkungan hidup karena bersifat mutagenik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi dari ekstrak kelopak bunga telang (Clitorea ternatea L.) sebagai alternatif pewarna bakteri sederhana berbasis bahan alam ramah lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen laboratorium dengan menggunakan analisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak kelopak bunga telang (C. ternatea L.) memiliki kemampuan untuk mewarnai sel bakteri Gram-positif Staphylococcus aureus dan bakteri Gram-negatif Escherichia coli dengan kontras yang dapat dilihat di mikroskop. Bila dilihat dari kualitas pewarnaan nya, preprat yang diwarnai dengan ekstrak kelopak bunga telang memberikan kualitas pewarnaan yang kurang baik bila dibandingkan pewarna bakteri seperti safranin dan kristal violet. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah ekstrak kelopak bunga telang (C. ternatea L.) belum bisa dipergunakan secara langsung sebagai alternatif pewarna bakteri sederhana berbasis bahan alam ramah lingkungan karena membutuhkan penambahan co-pigment sebagai stabilisator dari antosianin.

Abstract

produk untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi sains peserta didik kelas X SMA pada materi virus. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan metode Research and Development dengan model 4-D yang termodifikasi menjadi Define, Design, dan Develop. Subjek uji coba merupakan peserta didik kelas X SMAN 2 Bantul tahun 2022/2023 sebanyak 70 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik random sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari instrumen tes sebanyak 50 item pilihan ganda dan lembar validasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui validasi muka dan analisis validitas dan realiabilitas secara empiris menggunakan program QUEST dengan pendekatan Item Response Theory (IRT) model Rasch. Hasil penelitian ini meliputi: (1) pengembangan instrumen tes menggunakan model 4-D termodifikasi sampai Develop berdasarkan framework PISA 2018 dengan level kognitif HOTS dan (2) instrumen tes yang dikembangkan terbukti memiliki kualitas butir soal yang layak berdasarkan hasil validasi muka dengan kategori layak dan hasil penyelidikan validitas, reliabilitas, dan karakteristik butir pada tingkat kesukaran item secara empiris dinyatakan valid dan reliabel untuk mengukur kemampuan literasi sains pada materi virus. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, disimpulkan bahwa instrumen tes kemampuan literasi sains yang dikembangkan dinyatakan layak berdasarkan hasil expert judgement dan hasil penyelidikan secara empiris sejumlah 44 item.

Abstract

Streptococcus sanguinis has strong adhesion with salivary pellicles which causes other oral bacteria to attach more and has contribution in causing caries and periodontal disease. S. sanguinis mediated the adhesion of S. mutans to dental pellicle receptors so inhibiting the interaction between S. sanguinis and S. mutans would prevent the risk of dental caries. Purple leaf (Graptophyllum pictum) is one of the medicinal plants or natural ingredients that are useful as antibacterials. The purpose of this study was to examine antibacterial activity of purple leaf extract against S. sanguinis. This experimental laboratory study with a pre-posttest control group design was conducted by dilution method on treatment groups, purple leaf extract with concentrations of 25%, 12.5%, 6.25% and 3.12%. Visual and spectrophotometer examination was observed before and after incubation.The result showed that purple leaf extract with concentrations of 6.25% and 3.12% and control + groups had not turbidity and decreased absorbance value. Furthermore, the One Way Anova parametric statistical test and also Post-Hoc Least Significant Difference showed that there were significant differences between the study groups. The purple leaf extract (Graptophyllum pictum L. Griff) had antibacterial activity against S. sanguinis. The antibacterial test for extracts that are dark in color can be continued using the TVC (Total Viable Count) method to provide a quantitative estimate of the concentration of bacterial cells in the sample in units of CFU/ml.

Abstract

Background: Periodontal disease are common dental and oral health problems in the community. Porphyromonas gingivalis (Pg) is one of the main causes of the periodontal disease. The alveolar bone resorption could be as severity indicator of the disease, so that need a material that can help a process of bone remineralization. Osteoblasts are bone-forming cells that are responsible for the mineralization of the bone matrix. Purple leaf is one of the thirteen commodities developed by DitjenPOM as a superior medicinal plant. Purpose: To determine the effect of 2,5%, 5% and 10% purple leaf extract (EDU) of osteoblasts cells in wistar rats induced by Pg. Method: Thirty male wistar rats divided into 5 groups, namely N (without treatment), K (Pg), P (Pg+EDU 2,5%), P2 (Pg+ EDU 5%), P3 (Pg+EDU 10%). EDU administration once a day for 7 days. The mice were decaputated on the 7 th day and the left mandible was taken to make preparations followed by HE staining, observation and calculation of the number of osteoblast cells in 3 different fields. The results of the observations (data) were added up, averaged and analyzed by One Way ANOVA. Result: The group induced by Pg and EDU had a higher average number of osteoblasts than the K and N group. Conclusion: Purple leaf extract (EDU) can increase osteoblasts cells in the alveolar bone of male wistar rats induced by Pg with the highest number of osteoblasts in the 10% concentration.

Abstract

Global literacy is a crucial ability to maintain the world’s peace. Several studies show that demographic factors influence the development of a person’s competence. However, the influence of demographic factors on global literacy has not yet been explored, especially in high school students. This research was conducted to determine the factors that most influence students’ global literacy in biology learning. The factors used in this research are gender, school profile (public or private school), and interest in learning biology. This study used a cross-sectional survey design with 2,759 students participating. Students’ global literacy was analyzed from a questionnaire of four aspects: exploration, communication, using the internet, and act for society. This study found that all the proposed factors influence students’ global literacy, but the factor that has the most dominant influence is the school profile. This research provides a new view regarding the influence of demographic factors on students’ global literacy. The government and related parties can use these results to design effective learning innovations to develop students’ global literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to discuss the social media Instagram as an educational medium through the perspective of Sociology of Education. Specifically, it aims to, first, find out the main components of Instagram social media, second, to find out the role of actors and third, analyze educational accounts from the perspective of the sociology of education. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with interviews and observations related to educational accounts. The subjects of this research are 8 owners of educational accounts on the social media Instagram, namely @kokbisa, @mudanerdaya.id, @socialkreatif, @folkative, @asumsico, @karirlab, @mamanbasyaiban, @cepatpede.academy. The research was conducted from May 2024 to October 2024. The concepts used in this research were social media, Instagram, and education using an educational sociology perspective. The result of this research is that we can find out the 4 components of Instagram social media which include context, communication, collaboration and connection. Second, optimize the role of actors as policy makers, coordinators, facilitators, implementers and accelerators. Third, analyze Instagram social media as a "facility" in individual development through an educational sociology perspective.

Abstract

This paper departs from the issue of a hidden curriculum that occurred during the last 10 years. Hidden curriculum is an educational practice in schools that contributes to the progress of education. Previous studies discussed the role of the state, the role of schools and the role of teachers in the practice of hidden curriculum separately. Whereas in this paper, researchers want to show the practice of hidden curriculum comprehensively. This research is a case study research with a qualitative approach. Findings in this study (1) Stakeholders influence the progress of schools with innovation and creation through cooperation, adaptive policies and implementation in learning activities. (2) The practice of hidden curriculum is carried out in academic and non-academic activities, but there is a dynamic that occurs in the practice of hidden curriculum (3) The achievement in the practice of hidden curriculum is seen formally and substantively. This research suggests that it is necessary to increase trust between stakeholders to be able to work together to achieve maximum achievement

Abstract

Lime peel ecoenzyme (Citrus aurantifolia) is a microbial-based product made by fermenting the fruit peel for more than one month. The study aimed to analyze the ecoenzyme product from lime peel (C. aurantifolia) and its potential as an antiseptic so that it becomes one of the independent health improvement efforts on a household scale. The research design was laboratory experiments. The data described descriptively based on the results obtained from laboratory experiments. The research results showed that ecoenzyme contains a complex of organic ingredients as a natural antiseptic that can be used in the household such as 19 types of organic acids, 17 types of flavonoids, 16 types of carbohydrates and 19 types of amino acids which have potential as antiseptics. The study concluded that the ecoenzyme product from lime peel (C. aurantifolia) has potential as an antiseptic because it contains a complex of organic ingredients as a natural antiseptic that can be used in the household. Potential antiseptics can be in the form of dish cleaners, fruit and vegetable washes. Instead of being an antiseptic, ecoenzyme liquid can be used as a plant fertilizer and compost activator which can be applied to reduce household waste.
